Costco Tire Center

Very disappointed with the service.
First, online appointment time is only one month out and it’s greyed out since October when I looked, unable to book any time online.
Second, called in multiple times everytime either phone automatically hang up or I get transferred to a department and it hang up automatically.
Third, finally someone reached out after I placed new tire order for a few weeks and tires came in, booked a time, they want me to pick up the tire NOW and wait until 30 days after to install. Said they’re busy and will have to send tires back if I don’t pick up within a week. We live far away and it’s extremely inconvenient to store tires in our small apartment. Said ok for them to send back tires and I’ll order again closer to the time since in don’t know they can only store for a week and can not install until over a month due to their scheduling difficulties, now staff said they’ll cancel my appointment since after sending tires back I do not have an active order on file?

Very disappointed with the entire process and Costco is always good with their services.

Great job and excellent customer service. There was a mixup with my appointment for a flat tire and Kris was able to take care it and honor the warranty. Definitely recommend buying tires from Costco and using their service tire center.

I bought 4 brand new tires from Costco Waterloo just a couple of weeks and the service could not of been better. I will start from the beginning. When my wife and I arrived at Costco Tire Centre there was sale on for Bridgestone tire the young lad asked me for the tire size and found a set of 4 for very high mileage. And said the the will be ready for install in a couple of weeks. The day arrived I arrived at Costco Tire Centre in the morning a good fella by the name of Kris took my keys and said it will be ready in an hour. Bella I think her name was really nice and said we will call you when it’s ready. I only just finished our grocery shopping and my wife called to say it was done. Got me keys and the receipt back and it was all just terrific. Sorry Tire Centre I couldn’t remember the fella name that we ordered from I just want to thank everyone there for the excellent service and customer service. You guys are just awesome!

Terrible service, 1 hour and 50 minutes to change 4 tyres and that’s with an appointment. Outrageous and not even a sorry for the delay, will never go back and will be telling everyone I know not to waste their time going here. Almost twice as long as they said it would take, they just don’t give a s•••

This is an FYI to other customers of the Tire Center; I ordered my tires online to be delivered to the Waterloo location, but when they arrived there were no appointments available until three weeks later so they asked me to pick up the tires due to the lack of space to storage so I tried to look for an appointment at the Kitchener location and I got it for in four days, but I was charged again for the installation of the tires (Charge done when you purchase the tires) and I was told that I need to claim for refund at Waterloo location because the Tires were delivery over there so being there it was a surprise that the staff at the tire center didn't understand why this was happening to be the same Costco so I had to ask for the manager who told me that he will authorize the refund, but it couldn't happen again because they don't do storage and the tires need to be installed where they were delivered. R/ First Costco should not accept delivery to the warehouse if they don't have storage or appointments for new purchases or specify to be delivered to the client's location, Second I am not a Costco employee to know the store procedures besides that employee who tried to help me didn't know anything about it at Waterloo. I hope my two days of drama can help someone and Costco clarify procedures for clients when purchasing online.

Wasted $60 on Uber and they are not able to change the tires as they couldn't find the tire key that I left in the center storage.worst experience ever.

"Temporarily Out of Stock" for months. But they are on sale.on non-existent stock. If I could actually BUY tires from Costco that would potentially awesome, but since december they're selling nothing. Competition has no problem stocking and ended up ordering there.

I went for Oil change & nitrogen conversion. My Vehicle mileage was 99,887km. Since it’s a Synthetic oil change, I was expecting at least 6-8k before next service is required.
The sticker in the car stated 104,887km. That’s 5000km. According to the label, It’s Castrol Edge Synthetic. Wonder why the interval is at such short amount.
The invoice of service didn’t even mention which viscosity oil was used, nor it said how much amount was added.

Tire purchase was competitive - they will fix your flats for free.
HOWEVER - when I had a flat I called and called over and over again, no one would answer, not at the Waterloo or the Kitchener location. I tried booking online but the next free appointment was in 3 WEEKS. When I needed Costco the most - they really let me down.

Needs online appointment, park your car at tire center parking, hand in the key inside Costco beside return tables and you are done! Shop while you wait, takes 1 hour or so, very convenient and good for oil change too.

Cracked my filter housing and tried blaming it on who changed my oil last.who was Pennzoil in Waterloo who use a $500 part to remove/tighten.yeah right. Zero integrity here. Rude staff as well.

Kris from Tire Center helped me to fix and swap my tire during their busiest time of the year. Thank you.

Takes lots of hour. Why do they ask me to come earlier? Useless.

Super easy to book online and get new tires installed. Convenient to get tires installed while shopping too.

Can honestly say it's not worth the wait or hassle. Staff are not customer friendly at all. You wait almost a month to get in, then when you do, they do not complete the service you asked for. Never again!

I'm leaving one star only because the tire center never picks up calls and the girl working at the counter doesn't seem to enjoy her job. Their tire works seem fine.

Had them swap my winters for my all-seasons. Drove home without realizing that 2 of the 4 tires were low - 15 and 18 psi respectively. I will not have my wheels changed there in the future.

They cracked our oil pan somehow when we went there for an oil change. Found the car leaking oil, brought the car back and they didn’t take any responsibility. The last place we had our car serviced at was Costco. There’s no way the pan was cracked from normal driving, the shield is underneath is intact and undamaged. If the oil pan was leaking before the oil change, we would have known and they would have said something. Big mistake going here, it’s especially disappointing that they don’t take any responsibility.

Do not make appointments there, it is useless, i thing if somebody handle a 5 $ bill, they will get in front of you and you will be postponed 2 hour, 3 hours. If you try to call them, they will never answer. I have this appointment from one month ago, it was for 4.00, it is 6.30 now and not a sign from them. At least they should give you a phone call to apologise and tell you before you go there to come late.

What is the point of having tire appointments? Takes 20 minutes just to check in and then 2 hours to change the tires. Definitely not worth it

Always go above and beyond to help customer. They're honest about what they can and can't do. Very satisfied. Sure, they are busy, but try their best to fit you in
