Costco Wholesale

Great selection and always awesome customer service. But in general I avoid this place like a plague. There is NEVER any parking and the place is always PACKED - no matter what time of the day. Windsor needs another Costco! We’ve been saying that for years but I guess it’s never gonna happen. Always forgotten Windsor: (

It's a Costco, not sure what to say. However, the parking is a nightmare. I'm always there by myself, but don't be an idiot like me; bring someone with you. Drop them off at the door, park across the street, meet up, do your shopping, then go get your car and pick that person up near where they seasonally have plants.

We were talked into spending twice as much on the membership with a promise of a big online credit. Now we find we must spend a LOT of money to get the credit, and in a VERY short time. Most of their products are overpriced.

Although Costco has a lot of items for purchase, it is often very packed making it hard to find parking and difficult to shop. No matter the time or day, Costco will always be busy, so be prepared to walk through the crowd of individuals.

The food court has delicious food for a reasonable price. I highly recommend the poutine and the chicken strips with fries. It is always made to order. They installed a self-ordering kiosk which helps decrease the ordering time. Overall, the food court itself makes up for the shopping experience at Costco.

What is the point of having an extension to try & reach the automotive service department if no one pucks up the phone?

This location is way too busy all the time. Please open another location for Essex County.

- Many employees at this facility power-trip and have a superiority complex; this was especially apparent during the plandemic and this is still the case today.
- The selection of products is adequate, but is it worth the treatment?

The way they treat you puts a sour taste in my mouth. My family and I are exploring alternatives.

Always great prices and a great selection of stuff that you just won't find anywhere else! The membership is a great deal, so if you're not shopping at Costco, go there right now! Trust me:)

We love hate this place! We love it because it's got fun gifts and reasonably priced clothes, all the bulk foods we need, but everyone is always so cranky there, (even the employees!)

Surprisingly quiet with short lines. Out of there much quicker than normal. Disappointed with the phone booth, who took 2 hours to get back to me. I was already home.

When I work in Windsor on nights I stop by Costco and pu all of my favorites. Loved it when they opened at 8 for essential workers and seniors now back to normal hrs I just hang out waiting for them to open at 9am. Thanks for the great paper and coffee products costco:)

The tire centre at the Windsor's location doesn't honour their valid quotation. I always have a faith on Costco customer service and believe the company's elegancy treating their customer util today's experience with the tire centre at the Windsor's warehouse. I obtained a quotation for four winter tires on October 3,2021 valid for 7 to 10 business days. Today (Oct 9), I went back to purchase the tires in the quote and they increased the price by about $20. I discussed with the sale person and the manager about the quotation. Their explanation is (1) they can change the quote at any time even within the quotation validity periods (7 to 10 business days) without consulting the quoted customers. This indicates that they don't have any knowledge about how the quotation works-a quotation should be a binding document; (2) they acknowledged that their saleperson might make mistakes on the quotation, and as the consequence, customers should pay for their mistakes. I argued that $20 may not be a big amount compared to about $1300 tire values.but it is about how the Costco's reputation conducting their business by honouring their promises and abiding by the business conventions. The manager responded in a mockery manner, "if it is not about $20, what are we arguing about? ". I would say that the Costco should send this manager to go back to basic business training, at least learning about quotations and customer services. To be honest, I really did not expect this kind of incompetency conducting business happening at any Costco warehouse, a bit disappointment! Except for a few isolated cases, I still recommend the Costco shopping and it’s among the best anyway so far!

They need a second location in Windsor. This location is super busy for South Windsor I think Costco will profit in East Windsor the best closer to Tecumseh or it’ll do somewhat good in West Windsor.

Very busy, fast paced, hectic, customers all need to do their part if you are just browsing move out of the way! Some people want in and out so they are on a mission!
Staff does a great job with the tools given, some days are very stressful

Costco needs to have a person behind the tire desk at all times. I will spend my time somewhere else that will serve me better. Tire shops are all over!

I only went to the gas bar. The lineup wasn't horrible but the lane I chose moved very very slow. The receipt printer was slow so maybe thats why. The lane next to us moved 4 cars before we moved at all. The price also was not as low as I'd expect given the surrounding prices.

Students can save a lot by buying in bulk and then splitting it, good quality products at a cheaper price than other retailers.

The Costco plan works.very clean store, very busy but the lines move quickly, found our Beet Chips we were missing out on, Thank you!

Costco is a good place to shop in bulk for the house, good and quality items, always happy whenever i shop there because it saves me some dollars.

I generally like shopping here during the week. I do not like shopping here on the weekend as I find it way too busy. A second Costco in the Windsor area would alleviate this issue.
However, I have always found the staff to be knowledgeable and helpful and checking out is very quick.

Typical Costco, full large parking lot, over crowded building. Good deals on most products, amazing business practices and the best premium fuel prices anywhere!

This Is Windsor's only Costco and there is a reason for that! This establishment has surpassed all expectations in terms of professionalism and customer satisfaction. Great staff and great variety. I have had nothing but great experiences here The only down side is it can get very busy at times but other than that it is a great place to shop for all your home needs.

Too much small I don’t see Like this small branch before, every Costco huge just this one is Small and less items I don’t like it

Friendly and helpful staff (who get paid a living wage) AND amazing prices. Many deals are too good to pass up, so restraint is helpful. Plus, don't shop hungry, you may end up with 2kg of potato salad!

Crowded now. I think Windsor is in line for a larger store, or another one. I think this is the only one in all Essex, so folks from all over crowd this one.

I never thought Costco food court at Windsor Canada serve cold storage food - pizza, chicken, fries, or anything else. I have tried Costco in USA, it’s so different here in Windsor.

I bought pizza today for same price as fresh pizza. But, it was so bad.it felt like eating rubber with plastic cheese. It had such a bitter after taste.

I saw them frying potato fries which looked like styrofoam.

I just had to process a return and get my glasses adjusted. Rosanne was very friendly at returns and Elizabeth handled my glasses adjustment perfectly.

Got our membership cards online and went there for the first time last weekend. Out of watermelon, out of muffins and had to walk through 2 seperate aisles so I could hear the employees talking to each other and constantly dropping F bombs and other colourful words I cannot repeat here. I blame the manager for letting this go on.

Costco is great for getting what you need. However last time I went there it was packed, line ups, people going in every direction. Other than that great service.

The woman at the food court is rude and tried to make me pay twice for something I ordered, if shes there again next time I go I'm not buying food.

Costco should be accepting people who have real mask exemptions in their stores. The RebelNews #MaskExemptionButton are used by people that have actual allowed exemptions as stated in the Reopening Act of Ontario mandate. We should not have to wear faceshields. Our exemptions buttons should be enough!

Only enter if u dare because this place with force u to empty ur banks. You will not step back without make a whole round to all sections.

Nice facility - clean, safe, lots of good bulk price deals, and specials, seems gas and propane for best prices, and automotive tires/installs. No more photo or framing!

This Costco Wholesale is somewhat organized and the staff here are super nice. You can find literally anything you want from clothes, electronics to food. Almost everything is reasonably priced and some stuff are a lot cheaper here than other places. During these times (the pandemic) there is usually a line outside to wait till there is room for everyone inside the store, so everyone would practice proper social distancing inside. Overall, I think anyone would have a good experience visiting this Costco.
