I was at the tire center to look for a battery for my car about 4pm today. The clerk there was absolutely not helpful at all. He said that Costco does not carry that kind of battery for my car, but I told him that I bought it before. "No, Costco does have it" he said again, totally in a not helpful tone without lifting his eyes from his computer. Hi friend, you know what, one hour later, I went to another location, then the clerk there helped me to find the battery and I bought it. What is the customer service at the Hightech location? That clerk said "Costco does not carry"? Why does another location has it? He really is doing his job? 0 star.

I love all Costcos, this one has two small problems, being always busy and having no Costco gas station.

Very very disappointed on local customers!
I strongly believed that it is a common sense for the customers should queue for food tasting, but I saw no customers followed and many customers took many food tasting in one time, they don't care for the other customers are queuing for the food tasting. Honestly speaking, I cannot believe that this circumstance had happened in a well-developed country "Canada Costco store"! I do hope that the Management team of the Costco can take some measures to improve this poor situation.

No empty shelves and even though the parking lot is full it did not seem crowded. Had to fetch a shopping cart from the parking lot but that was the only hiccup.

I like this Costco optical department and food court. The optical staff is very kind and helpful. I don't like this Costco because they wanted to check my diaper bag today when I showed them the receipt at the exit. I had 2 kids with me shopping. They have the right to suspect everyone is a thief then check everyone's bag. Don't just pick on someone have kids. I went to other Costco, but I've never encounter this. No customer service. I would give them negative 100 if it's possible. I've been shopping at Costco cross Canada, we used to live in Alberta. We shopped at Costco in US when we lived there. This Costco is the worst one ever, I don't know who give them the right to act like a racist in this Costco. I'm going to do a formal complaint and let everyone know. I could make a scene there, but I had 2 kids with me. I didn't want my kids to be scared, but they did witness I was being treated like a thief. I'm a professional and have a professional career, it is not acceptable that I was treated like this. I don't know since when, Canada is reshaped and not like 30 years ago anymore. People are not nice to each other and places have no customer service standards anymore.

To busy. To many people waiting for those free samples. You can’t feed your family lunch on samples.

While this particular Costco carries a wide assortment of products, as is standard for the brand, the staff at this branch leave much to be desired in terms of professionalism and customer service.

Yesterday, we found ourselves in the vicinity of this particular branch following a work meeting, so my sister, her baby, and I decided to drop by to pick up some groceries. The scene was chaotic as we attempted to leave the store amidst a crowd of entering and exiting customers. As per usual, a male employee verified our receipt and cart contents and indicated we were clear to go. Unexpectedly, a female employee intruded into our personal space, demanding quite impolitely, "Check the baby bag", insinuating that we might be concealing unpaid items therein. With only our wallets and the baby's diaper bag in hand, we were puzzled and asked if this was a new policy, only to be met with silent dismissal.

As a long-standing Costco VIP member and someone with experience in the customer service sector, I found this interaction exceptionally unprofessional. Customer service representatives should be cautious with their language to avoid potentially judgmental assumptions or insinuations.

This incident, which occurred yesterday, was the trigger for writing this review. However, it's worth noting that I have made it a point to avoid this location in the past due to subpar service. Representatives often lack product knowledge and at times, seem to feign ignorance when asked a question.

In conclusion, the management at this Costco branch must take initiative to improve the customer service skills of their employees. They need to instil in them a sense of professionalism and the ability to communicate effectively with customers.kellychan360

Super busy as always on weekends, weekday mornings are better if you want to avoid the crowds. Staff always friendly and helpful. If it's raining heavily or has rained the night before the parking spaces closes to the entrance get flooded so watch out.

Can be busy at times but overall, it has good selection and staff are nice and friendly whenever I need help to locate any of the weekly saving items. Way to go team!

The customer service at this Costco is very unorganized! Last time I was here the store was moderately busy, but the return line constantly had 30+ customers waiting. The line went all the way to the hallway where they store the shopping carts. Even though the heaters were installed in the hallway but they did not turn it on for the customers waiting, it was a windy and cold day! The hallway was below 0 degree for sure. Seeing the elderly waiting in the cold for more than 40 minutes was unbelievable. When it was my turn waiting inside the store, I saw only 2 cashier doing returns behind the register, while the other 2 were scanning returned items by prior customers. None were thinking to at least process the current waiting customers first, which was very inefficient duty assignment. No wonder why the return line is always so long! I would never come back to this Costco. The Vaughan Costco always has someone print the receipts at the line up which makes return so much faster!

We've been here a few times over the years. We live in Ohio. This Costco location seems to be busy all the time. The cleanliness of the store could improved.

Horrible experience with the man at the cash. He was impatient as I fumbled to get my card out of a brand new wallet. Then he refused to cash my 3 items out and served the person behind me who I was with. He then got rude when I tried to pay for

Best Costco in Canada as far as im concerned. Angelo came over and helped me with my purchase 30 minutes before closing. I was very pleased with his professionalism & demeanor towards me as a customer in buying a high priced item. I was originally going to buy it from the Dundas West Costco but the item there was damaged and the managers at that location still tried to sell the item to me while acknowledging the issues with the item. I drove to Markham hoping I would find the same item in better condition. It was worth the trip and I saw an emmediate difference between the managers in Toronto & the managers in Markham (Angelo) when considering general people skills & respect towards the customer. Thank you Angelo for sincerely helping me and not wasting my time while making me comfortable to buy the item at this store with confidence.

THE slowest return service I've ever encountered. It will take 15 mins for 5 staffs to deal with 5 customers, which is insanely slow. Mind ur business of coming down to this store.

I love to eat sushi.
We saw this Costco sales various kind of sushi. I was so glad with this situation.
(I think it is not all Costco had it.)
Anyway we bought and ate it.
However, it was not quite tasty what I imagined. It might be not cooked today morning. Because the rice was hard, even though it was keeping cold place.
Just it was really a good price with the amounts. I hope it would be possible to eat fresh sushi in a Costco one day.
Totally, it was not bad experience with Costco sushi.

Just to be clear: the one star is entirely on the membership customer service, particularly a guy named Syed. We love going to this Costco and like pretty much everything about it, until we met this customer service guy.

We went to seek clarification on our membership status, as there were some changes made recently. This guy, Syed, was the only one there. After we asked our questions, he didn't even try to understand what our confusions were, he kept on explaining the same thing in the same way. And instead of prompting us to provide any additional information he might need to figure out the issue, he blamed us for not telling him everything at the first place. Yes, there might be some language barriers because him and us all spoke a second language. But then he just told us that our membership status was "so messed up". Excuse me? That's why we came to you for clarification, we weren't the one who caused the "messiness". He was just there to make everything even more confusing. What made us mad and upset the most is at the end, he basically told us "don't ask me questions, I am the one who ask question, why do you ask me? " SERIOUSLY? Then what is the purpose of having you there if people can't ask you questions? By the time we were about to leave, he acted like he was superior and told us to leave, saying "you have a good night" in such an ironic manner.

This is an extremely disappointing experience with this Syed from customer service department, and this kind of attitude is absolutely NOT ACCEPTABLE.

A very busy and crowded Costco, in Markham, ON. Lots of parking space, but also with careless shoppers that dent your car door easily with shopping cart. 3 stars!

This is my first time to visit the tire centre in Markham. I usually go to the Costco tire centre on Warden because they will ask me where I park with a floor plan so I can drop the key and leave. Also they give me a call when they are done. The attitude from Costco Markham tire centre makes me disappointed, especially the technician because he had poor attitude when I asked them for help. When there was no parking spaces, they told me to park beside the road and then I was completely forgotten with no one following up. When the tire change was done, they had no interest in notifying me.

Honestly one of the best Costco's I've been in.

Most people put up with the incredible volume of people and horrible of parking at Costco because of the wholesale prices and selection. This particular location has none of the bad qualities you expect when visiting a Costco.

Lines are expedient and parking is plentiful. This particular location has special pricing on meat and other food products. I actively go out of my way to visit this particular location, even though there are two other Costco's near me.

Love this Costco a lot! I love how fast and efficient the cash area is. The staff is all really kind.

Costco has everything you need, from bacon crumbles to toilet paper. They have followed covid guidelines very well. Parking is sometime a hassle though.

I came back for 40km torque verification and the tire centre employee was very rude and not willing to help me to perform this service, I will not come back this place anymore

A senior Chinese lady who slipped down on wet floor in customer service section at 4pm. A staff who saw the accident at 2m away without do anything for help.

What the sushi looks like. Good value. Obviously not restaurant level, but compared to grocery stores, this is good for a quick lunch.

Went to Tire Centre because my pressure sensor detected low pressure in one of my tires. Andrew was very helpful; he re-inflated my tires and checked a loose valve stem and tightened it while we were shopping. Very friendly and saved me a lot of time today!

Great products but I have to complain about the service - my cashier Ben was extremely rude to my wife and I. He kept on throwing our things onto our cart roughly and when we asked him a question, he responded impatiently. I will not be returning to this Costco, they show no respect to their customers.

The customer service person charged us for three boxes of eggs when we only bought two so had to get a credit and they were so not sorry about it we will never go back.

I am not a fan. However, Costco offers some advantages over other stores price-wise. Goodvto buy here cheese, berries and a few other things such as consumables. Meat is ok if you ea a lot of it. Was not please with an employee from the graden center. He told me I couldn't park near the propane area. This area is only used for the garden centre. There was no signage display saying such a thing. The propane employee was very kind and never told me such a thing. May 17th 2021 time 13: 25 location Markham.

I bought a Spanish risotto today. But when I brought it home, all the broth of that was leaking. I don't understand how they packed the food with broth like that.

Costco greeters are rude. They have above average pay for their positions and should be nicer to their members.

They should card everytime or never. I shouldn't receive attitude for not having my card ready as the expectations have not been set for the 10 people ahead of me.

I was happy with the social distancing norms the employees are following. The only reason I gave a 3 star rating is a box of nut bars had been opened and was missing a few bars. I returned it right away after noticing it in the parking lot. Costco promptly took it back, no ques asked. But during these pandemic times, pls make sure people dont steal food from a boxed product. This is about safety!

I enjoyed my shopping experience. They had a few employees walking through the store identifying that social distancing is required. It was a good effort but it's still a very busy store.

This center is perhaps once of the best I have experienced. The professionals here are very nice and they manage the schedule well. I went for a rotations, rebalancing, inflation and tpms reset. They did all perfectly. They also provide good advice and suggestions.

First time visitor to the tire shop, having walked by them many times to get to the store. I am glad I went. Top notch service, skilled technicians, and low prices with no hit to quality. Thank you to Tyler at the front who was able to work me in and diagnose the issue with his staff. 5 stars!

Costco tries its best but every time I come here it's swamped. The parking, food, and shopping are all nightmares because people suddenly adopt the most uncivilized behaviors they can. The staff maintains their professionalism even with all the peasants around, and is definitely something worthy of appreciation.

It was my first time here and I just got a membership card. A bit crowded, but that's expected on a boxing day. Customer service was quick and helpful.

Incredible place to shop for everything! Unbelievable prices and the food selection is awesome. Some of the best food selection and, oh sooooo good and delicious! Too many great products to mention. They have practically everything under one roof. Plus I love the pizza slices, fries, hot dogs that are so cheap and taste great

With any Costco service, you can't go wrong. Always best prices and services. Their installation package is the cheapest but has the best benefits.

This location looks big, but it's not. Very limited products with little rotation. The aisle arrangements makes shopping here like driving during traffic. People don't look at where their cart is going; carts parked in the worse spots or left abandoned; and the stupid ones that clearly don't need a cart but use one for 2 items they can't be bothered to carry and make a living hell for the rest of us bc shed rather be pushing her cart around while texting on her damn cell phone. The checkout arrangement for this location, royally sucks bc every cart bottlenoses. Whoever designed this layout should find another job.

In comparison to other Costco stores, this one has a smaller selection and overall feels cramped and worn out.

I docked 1 star for each issue I have with them.

1) Good luck finding something if you don't already know where to look.

Costco doesn't have an inventory location system (signs to direct you to particular aisles for certain categories of items). One example, how would I know to look in the lights aisle for a ceiling fan? How would I know that you set up stock thinking that fans and lights are appliances when they're actually fixtures?

2) Inventory confirmation

You'd have to call Costco to confirm if their location carried a certain product. If they did and you wanted to know how many they had, they'll put you on hold and get someone to go check the physical inventory. If you're calling from another city over, fine, but if y97re down the road from Costco, it's faster to go there and check. It would be nice if they had a "Check Store Availability" option on the site.

I went there to buy Systane eye drops. Unfortunately, 5 out of 8 packs that I grabbed were expired.
Store Supervisor didn’t pay attention to our complain, said I’m sorry and left.
This is how Costco can make profit even if they sell medicines less expensive than other department stores.
Please be careful when you’re buying medicine from Costco!

Not the biggest Costco warehouse that I've been to, but all the staples are there. Avoid peak hours as the lines are long and parking spaces are limited.
