CottageRental.com has made booking a cottage safe and easy. I have rented in 3 locations now and each time the process was professional and reliable. The one time I had some questions, on site, the response was immediate. There are so many people out there trying to scam, it is a comfort to work with a company you can trust with your money, your safety and your vacation.

Exceptional customer service, especially from Janice, as the team really worked to provide us with the best cottage to meet our needs. As this was our first time renting out a cottage, all staff were very friendly to chat with and genuinely seemed to care about answering any of our questions.

For the past 2 summers, my family and another have rented and shared cottages that, we had found through Cottagerental.com. The cottages have been amazing and our experiences were everything we wished for and more. We just finished a week at cottage 314. Beautiful place. Well maintained, great landscaping, perfect amount of space. Friendly neighbors and perfect place on Lake Chandos.

I was raised and born in Northern Ontario and the prices that are being asked for are ridiculous and are based on the Southerners who are crazy enough to pay those fees.

Booked a cottage with them for June 12,2021. Due to government restrictions for COVID -19 short term rentals are not permitted until June 14,2021. They contacted us to inform us of this issue to make us aware. I requested to see if we could only attend for 5 days starting on June 14th to adhere to the Ontario governments COVID restrictions. They denied this request due to their strict 7 days booking policy. I then requested for the refund and they are refusing the refund until the date of June 12,2021 because the government may change the date. They are essentially holding my refund hostage in hopes that the government will potentially change the dates. This is unacceptable. I understand the need to cancel and follow government rules, but holding my money hostage is unfair and provides poor customer service. Especially during such unpresented times. If I had advised that I wanted to pay for this cottage, but it was based only on if the government would allow it they would have never held the reservation for me. Double standards and poor business practice.

We've rented several cottages over the past 6 or 7 years from them - their website is easy to use, their staff are super friendly and helpful and they make the entire process simple. Would highly recommend.

The team at Cottage Rental were attentive, professional, and pleasant to work with. It was nice to be able to speak with a representative on the phone to discuss rental options, prices, as well as additional details about all the properties they represent. We worked with Jane and Jeremy, and they truly cared about finding the perfect cottage for our family vacation. We were very impressed and will definitely work with Cottage Rental again in the future!
