Couchiching Court Buffet

It's been over 2 years since last time, Brenda & I enjoyed the food very much. Tracy was a wonderful server, we were amazed at dead the casino was at 12pm wed May 17.

Service was good as well as the food. The food section was not as good as before covid but okay. Hoping food selection improves and back up to precovid selections.

I dont have food sensitivities or allergies but every time I eat at this buffet, I get severe digestive issues and diarrhea. Our whole party has experienced this, multiple times! Pre covid, and again just lastnight. Something is wrong there. Done

Food wasent the greatest if the food was a little lower cost it will be worth every dime but it not worth 40$ as I didn't go back for a secdons plate. The guy at the front didn't tell us the price till we payed and seen the price and there wasn't an advertisement of the Buffet prices marked any we're prior to entering the buffet

If you like to pig out on good fries and nachos, this is the place for you! Seriously I ate far too much! It's a really good selection of food. Have choices between Asian food, pizza, different meat selections, sides, salads and dessert. I think it's well worth the price. But I can say I was fairly disappointed with the Asian food selection. Not very much to choose from and the noodles are very dry and not much taste. All other food was great though. I found my server was very slow. Took forever to ask us if we wanted any drinks and hardly checked up on us for refills. While a different server was making sure all her tables were well cared for, so it sucked that ours wasn't as great. But 4 stars for the great food!

The special price is until the end of April, only Thursday is the best price, the food is good, the service is great, lunch is only $33 for two people, but you need to be over 19 years old to enter, Because the restaurant inside the casino.

Very disappointed. We used to enjoy going to the buffet when visiting the casino but since they reopened they now over charge for less of a variety. Found a few good dishes in the Chinese section and other spots but the meats we tried were so dry. No discounts anymore. Sad.

I find the price for lunch a bit high. The beef was cold. I actually found all the meat dried out. If the casino wants to increase traffic then I'd suggest lowering the price of the restaurants to make them more inviting. I think the casino takes enough revenue off the machines to lower the prices elsewhere. But like anything else great is involved.

Buffet is finally open again after COVID, however the selection is not as good as Pre-COVID. Made to order pasta bar is gone which was the highlight of the buffet in my opinion.

Happy it's open again, price is a little on the expensive side. Food is good, my go to when wanting to binge on buffet style food in the Rama/Orillia area.

They would get a 5 star if they had sugar free beverages Coke zero for example. All the food is on point

I just want to share a wonderful dining experience at Couchiching Buffett. With lots of choice, but what made New Years dining here so special and getting 5 stars was a wonderful warm and very special waitress named Rosie. Thank you for your friendliness and professional manner. You made the dining a great memory. Lorne Canning

Couchiching Buffett is a great deal, plenty of food and attendants, food is great quality and plenty of it, never mind what bam bam says about it, that guy seems to be a entitled millennial who’s looking to be a so called influencer

We used to drive 2hours just for the buffet. Yikes, food was cold. The only thing that was good was the salad bar. Cold chicken cold roast beef, cold pasta and meat balls. Who is checking the quality here needs some training before someone gets sick. Certain things need to be top notch to draw in patrons, service, clean rooms and not last or least on the list quality food. I bet the workers don't even it there. Do better people.

Loved the food. Our server was so lovely and helpful. Lots of food & variety. I wish they had the 2 for 1 special more often!

This used to be the best buffet around. Food has no flow meaning there is no common theme. To many open slots or half empty entrees. If you're gonna do it.do it right. $45 pp is way to expensive for the offerings

The food was a 4, but the desserts were a write off. The selection looked like leftovers. I understand the price, but don't understand their standards. Like I said, food was good but face it, most people go for the desserts a selection they wouldn't get at home. Yet what faced them?
Dried bread pudding, maybe one serving. Mislabeled food, it wasn't cheese cake. The syrups needed wiping. On the upside the Pina colada sorbet was a pleasant surprise.

Selection for cost seems to be lacking. Food was overcooked and dry for the most part. Thaw and serve desserts were ok.

We love buffets, but this has to be the worst buffet from all the casinos. The roast beef was tough and fried chicken was dry and tasteless. Limited dessert selection. The battered fish had a weird taste. The gravy was not hot. Saw a kitchen staffer pick up a slice of pizza and chow down as he went back to the kitchen. When I posted this review on the casino rama page, they replied with a cut n paste reply and asked me to give them a 2nd chance.so they want me to spend $50 again.hahaha.
