Tuesdays and Thursdays are my favourite days of the week! Love learning Krav Maga in a great atmosphere. Nick is the best!

I cannot describe how much I enjoy classes at Counter Attack. Everyone is so welcoming and supportive. Nick is the best! And the classes are so much fun!

A great class with amazing atmosphere. Nick is a fantastic instructor and everyone in the class is very friendly and supportive. I have been attending regularly for 2 years and I would never consider switching to another facility.

I wanted to learn more than how to defend myself. I wanted to be able to take decisive action in the event I ever needed to defend my family or a loved one again. And I wanted to get back into shape. Nick at Counter Attack is an amazing teacher. His classes are fun. The people are kind. And the Krav Maga is deadly.

Atmosphere: Great comradery and competitive spirit that encourages each person to develop their individual abilities in a fun environment
Class size: Generally less than 12 people per class.
Physical nature: The exercises and combat/self defence techniques are practised in varying degrees of intensity, from shadow boxing to one-on-one scenarios, to multiple attackers at high intensity. Obviously, improving ones level of fitness is useful for the practicality of Krav Maga in real life situations.
Facilities: Currently the class is held in a martial arts oriented studio. The floors are wooden and there are mirrors which help you visualize your movements. Change rooms are available for use. Warmer weather presents opportunities to practise outside.
Value for money: The cost of membership is competitive to other self defence style classes. The cost of testing, if you wish to do so after several months of training, is more expensive than it should be but that's not a requirement.
Summary: You will learn valuable life saving techniques and learn how to react in a manner that results in the highest probability of survival relative to the circumstances. This class is run by Nick and he has a very approachable style of teaching. He encourages each learner to challenge themselves and improve their own abilities.

Get to this club. You'll never experience a better instructor with a better understanding of Krav Maga. My kids love the specially designed kids classes.
