Absolutely disgusting 25$ a pound for steaks. Two steaks were 95$. Will never return to this place with these disgusting prices.

One stop shop for your BBQ /meat needs!

No stars! Was just in location and the guy behind the meat counter is yelling and swearing at me because he didn't understand after me explaining 5x how to cut ribs. I asked to speak with Rick and he continued andvi said to Rick, you let your staff talk to customers like that! I would highly recommend you not go to this location. Port Colborne have much better staff, at Tendercuts and they sing while working always making the customer feel welcome. I will never be back to Country Deli. You have lost a very loyL customer you have had for years while you did nothing about the situation

I’m a huge fan of country corners, and have been since a little kid. My family is originally from Welland, but moved to the KW area. We still come down for meats every once and awhile but my favourite is the meat sticks. My mother recently went down and got many packs of them to bring them up here, but i noticed in one package it was completely different to the original ones i know & different from the other packages. They weren’t dry, and truly tasted like the meat sticks you get from a convenience store. It also is longer and looks completely different.i’m not too sure what happened but i’m truly disappointed.

I had an amazing experience and loved the selections. Referred a friend and went with her. It was a totally different experience when the owner was not present. The second time it was more like a big city grocery, lacking the friendly, personal vibe of our first visit.

Meat and food is always 100% AMAZING as well as their customer service! Soo friendly and helpful. Love this place.

Extremely expensive. They wanted 80 bucks for 20 cutlets. That is just ripping people off in broad daylight. And it was apparently on Sale! Insanity, especially in hard times now!

This place is AMAZING, one of the best roast beef sandwiches I've had! Meat counter looked super high quality too, although I regretfully couldn't buy any raw meat as I wasn't going to be home for many hours and had no cooler on hand Highly recommend checking this place out!

We are moving to Fonthill from Calgary. Last week we decided to visit some of the local venues for fruit, veggies, baked goods, and meat. We were greeted by the owner and given a hearty welcome along with a wonderful, and quite unexpected, gift bag full of tasty samples. They certainly gained some future customers!

The store and service is amazing! Kamone is also wonderful! She is great with making recommendations, answering any questions in depth and serving you in a friendly yet professional manner!

Wish I lived closer. Made us feel extremely welcome with friendliness and samples. We’ve returned and will return again.

Place always feels filthy like the Owner. Won't return. Zhers butcher better, clean, well lit, will cut to desire, just ask them.

Amazing! So many delicious things to choose from and the staff is exceptional! Friendly and helpful. When asked if they could help, I told them we are new to the area, and they packed us a gift bag full of goodies at no charge! Amazing customer service. They have new customers with us for life!

Well worth the drive from Cayuga, the guys at the meat counter are great, super helpful. My friends from Simcoe we're impressed by the sausage selection and bought many varieties. I also got sausage and other items but grabbed a small roast beef while there. It was fantastic, I'm no slouch in the kitchen but you can't put out good food without great ingredients. It's worth the drive for us. Thanks all!

Ordered the lunch special. The girl serving us started asking us what we wanted on the sandwich by giving us options. Wanted sub sauce but she started wrapping it without asking. Then when we asked for it she said we'll we don't ask what you want on it. Soooo.either you do or you don't, which is it? And the girl sweeping around our feet? Come on. Sorry not happy there today at all. Some wore masks some didn't. Some wore gloves, some didn't. Whatever.

Best Sausages in Ontario!

I live in Ottawa and regularly visit my family in Welland. For over 20 years I've regularly placed a large order of sausages with Rick to freeze and take back to Ottawa.
I haven't found any shop in Ontario that can offer the flavours, size and quality of meat that Rick and his staff serve in their Store.
When I BBQ these sausages for my friends in Ottawa, they are amazed at the quality, selection and freshness. I only wish there was an easier way to get these sausages to Ottawa.
Kudos to Rick and his staff!

Country Corner Market located in North Welland is close to Fonthill - Pelham, Thorold and Fenwick. It is a great little Butcher Shop - Deli and Grocery Store. They have excellent products and fresh local produce when in season. They also serve lunch and prepared heat and serve meals. Their butcher shop has my absolute favorite chicken which is free roam farm-raised. They are well known for their great selection of many sausage flavors including my favorite pumpkin sausage. They are all amazing!

If the meat is 1/2 as good as the hospitality it will be a winner. Rick and his team were incredible hosts for our first time there. We decided to grab a steak sandwich after the shop and it was excellent. Brisket, pork butt, sausages, flank steak, chops right down to the fresh bread and cold meat looked amazing, oh and don't forget the bacon! We'll be back for sure!

ALWAYS FRIENDLY! Country Corner Market is the best butcher and deli counter in Welland. Also a great place to shop for produce. You can also drop in for their BBQ lunch available for pick up outside.

Most inviting place i have been to in a while and has some really cute deli girls especially the two that had my sausage in their hands today:)

Amazing service, wonderful selection, upbeat and helpful staff and fair prices! Along with great hours! Unlike most other butchers that close before 6.
We will be returning for sure, going out of our way is well worth it for this butcher!

The small country market serves the best assortment of deli meats, marinated chicken breasts, steak as thick as you want, all en f it fresh. The is a great butcher shop. Rick and his team are friendly, efficient and a pleasure. The weekend BBQ is a great stop for lunch. A little off the beaten path but well worth it. Bring a cooler bag and an ice pack, you'll see why. I highly recommend the honey garlic sausage as my favourite of many.

I've gotten sick from this place so many times and bought old bad smelling chicken from here so many times. I don't understand how you let your meat get so old before throwing it out.

Very dissatisfied April 23 the wrong emails are being sent out with the wrong prices on the specials. The young person was obviously new not wearing proper food handling, people behind the counter without masks. Then to top it off I went to pay and the debit was down.

Just stopped by there great company and staff was friendly would recommend them to anyone great experience

If you ever get a chance to pull over and grab one of their steaks on a bun Or sausage, jump in there and you won't regret it.

This place is known for their sausages! So many varieties and flavours. I highly recommend the Thai-riffic!

This is bar far the BEST butcher in the Niagara region. And check out the BBQ they have in the back. Their steak and cheese is to die for.

They changed there famous beef jerky, it used to be dry and amazing, now it’s vac sealed and very damp, I dried it overnight in hopes it would be the same as before but it’s not. Maybe COVID is to blame but either way it’s not the same.

THE absolute BEST selection for meats, I use this location professionally and for having friends over for BBQ. The quality is top notch, saves me a ton of time when I am busy not having to make certain meals in large quantity from scratch. Recommend to everyone!

Awesome people, super friendly service. The butchers won't oversell you (eg.suggest a more expensive cut of steak). The steak is phenomenal and the deli is great. Rick's Roast Beef is dynamite and the Sausage Rolls are the best I've found since I left England 9 years ago. I just ordered the Xmas turkey after having the best turkey I've had in years for Thanksgiving. Definitely recommended, sorry if all the sausage rolls are gone by the time you get there ;0)

The best selection for a bbq. I love this place. I drive 25 minutes to come down but if you want quality it's worth it.
