Let's get this straight. I love Marriott. I love the bonvoy app. The chain offers secure platform contactless check-in and check-out. 99% of the properties honor this. 1% do not.
This is the 1%. They are rude and obstinate and I would not trust them! They are probably milling credit card numbers.

When I called to resolve my issue the front desk first put me on hold for 4 minutes and then hung up on me. I called back and was told they didn't hang up on me, the system automatically did? As if there is a difference.

The issue was that they were telling me I was unable to stay/check-in without a physical credit card. Even though I had paid through secure platform and recieved mobile check in. Room number and all. The whole point of contactless check-in for me is that I pay on a secure platform. No unsecure hotel personell need to copy down or "view" my visa account number or cvv. This is how fraud happens. "Oh we don't keep your number or cvv" - said every fraudster ever. At least the one who stole my number in 2017 and charged 21K work of Nokia product to my card. (yes Nokia?)

I have felt safe doing this more than 20 times a year for the last two years at 12 different Marriotts. This one can't do it. So its not actually contactless check-in as advertised. And my transaction requires they "look" at my card and take information into a NON-secure platform, in essence: "just trust us". Even though there is a completely secure option that works everywhere but here? SCAM?

The more they try to explain its "their procedure" the more sure I am they are another card number mill. (Card number mills don't use every number they get otherwise they get caught). And yes hotels (hotel employees) are a huge source of card mill fraud, the biggest in fact. Hence: contactless check-in through secure payment platform. Duh!

It used to be a great hotel to stay at - we've started here a number of times over the past few years.
This time, putting aside the room charge mix up, the hotel's overall quality has dropped, significantly! The quality of the rooms were bad, maintenance needed, general upkeep slacking. We asked to be moved to another room and the new room, besides being a little smaller has a strong smell to it.

We had a great room with a small sitting area. The chair in the sitting area also converted into a sofa bed. The hotel is clean and close to a2 small plazas and costco

Probably the worst kept Marriot ever. It's very disappointing to note that they do not even care to keep the place clean and sanitized especially during the time of the pandemic. Very poor service and customer care indeed.

My stay here has/had poor service they allow no more then 4 towels per room. The bed pillows still had makeup on them from the last people plus hair on them and in the sheets, I asked for more pillows and they sent two dirtier pillows then the ones we had. I brought three of the dirtiest ones down to the front desk and was confronted with immediate attitude at the front desk. Then was only brought 2 of the 3 pillows back clean still without the extra towels ridiculous behaviour in the middle of a pandemic I do not recommend this specific hotel to anyone.

Hotel is perfect. You will get many services from hotel but hotel is expensive. Almost everything is perfect and it is a good place to stay

The lights didn't work and the coffee machine didn't work. The towels were dirty and when I complained they said sorry we can't do anything.

Front desk guy was very passive aggressive talked down as I’m also asking for assistance to get whatever the Selena was resolved. Unprofessional that the customer service was not their as he rudely pushed my I’d and credit card back towards me.
As well as I seen that same guy from the front desk giving another 2 mixed/black females issues as well.
Still contemplating if I should extend the night but don’t want to go through that person at the desk. Smh

Kimberly who works at the front desk is AWESOME! She is so helpful, always so friendly, and always one step ahead of you in preparation. We look forward to coming to this hotel because we know Kimberly goes above and beyond to assure you have a great stay and that the hotel keeps up to its company standards. Thank you Kimberly! This morning I had a personal emergency which lead me to checkout a few minutes late. I asked the front desk for a bit of extra time and the staff (a female working today) said “my room needs to be vacated asap”.

Within the 15 minutes that it took for us to vacate the room, this staff member called my room twice, called my personal cell phone (that was on file), and also had a cleaner knocking on my door. It was evident, that she wanted us to feel the pressure of rushing out.

I am very frequent hotel stayer, and the service/hospitality at this hotel has been one of my poorest experiences. Having this staff be such a nuisance while dealing with a “personal emergency” (which was expressed to the staff when a request for a “late checkout” was declined) definitely ruined the day for my wife and I as we left the hotel.

I suggest the hotel takes advantage of this slow down and goes through some customer service training to sharpen up their staff. Very bad experience.will never be staying here or at any other Courtyard Marriott for that matter.

Stayed in a jacuzzi suite for two nights. This was for my wedding and the staff was quick to accommodate a spot for my wedding bouquet. Staff was friendly, room was clean and quiet. Great location with a Timmies and Wendy's a 30 second walk away. I knocked off 2 stars because of the restaurant on the main floor. I stopped to get a drink the night of Feb 28 and there was zero customers. I ordered a drink (some black cherry bourbon beverage). Paid and sat down at a nearby table with my companion. It took the girl nearly 15 minutes to prepare drink. I was the only customer there! I chose to be polite and wait, not saying anything, she could have been brand new for all I knew. I heard a WHOLE lot of ice being played with while she was making the drink. When she set it in front of me.it was pathetic. I have never seen so much ice put into a drink before. It peaked so high above the rim of the glass, it was hitting me in the face and falling out when I tried to take a sip. I had to hold the ice in the glass because I had no where to place the excess ice. There could not have been more than 1/4 of actual fluids in my cup. Do not order drinks unless you like getting ripped off.

Upon arrival,

It is evident how organized the hotel. They seem to take pride in their Infrastructure of their facility. Unfortunately, staff looked Lethargic and disengaged while conversing with me. Staff, failed to educate me on hotel Amenities and even refused to tell me how much the cost of my room which I found odd. It only seemed they were interested in getting rid of me instead of engaging with me. My overnight stay was a nightmare to tell you the truth. While, I tossed and turned all night. It was evident that the room had not been clean throughly. There were massive amounts of build up of dust surrounding the room as well as particulars flying in the air. Myself and my guest had a bit of a reaction to lack of cleanness. The following day, I had reported my experience to Kimberly CoelHo (Manager). Kimberly was very professional. She actively listened to my concerns. She took prompt action to conclude a solution of how she would resolve my concerns. Kimberly took the time to educate me on all the different Amenities the hotel has, along well as the different categories of rooms one can obtain. Her mannerism, patience and customer service is beyond satisfactory. Even though, my experience here was not the best for the first time. After Dealing with Kimberly no doubt I would give this hotel another try. Thanks Kimberly for taking care of my needs i look forward to my next stay.

The rooms are nice, clean, spacious. The cable TV is mediocre, but it is like that every where. The breakfast is not your usual buffet of a tub of scrambled eggs, overcooked home fries. I had the breakfast burrito and even though it was pre-made, it was oven heated and good. A colleague got the pick-your-own and they made his eggs over easy fresh. Coffee is Starbucks.

The entire hotel staff is super friendly and very nice to interact with. As a matter of fact, the young woman who checked me in joked that she made sure I got an ocean view. A little personality goes a long way!

Attended for an association meeting. Perfect venue, ample parking, clean rooms and washroom. Access to the door and parking was perfect to be able to welcome attendees! Definitely recommend!

Friendly staff, clean rooms, the bed was amazing. Sat in the bar with some co-workers and enjoyed out evening in. Didn't get to see the pool area but it sounded like it was a lot fun

After staying at many Courtyards, this one seems a bit tired. AC in room not working. Called desk night before to request service and nobody came to repair. Had to go ask again today. Finally came to repair. Check in was wonderful. Desk visit tonight was cold - no apology or reason for not getting the job done while I was away.

The room smelt like body Odar, the sheets had hair all over them. The towels smelt like sweat. I had to change my sheets twice and hand to check for hair, little crumbs and whatever else. The AC stopped working and then the toilet gets stuck and starts flooding- the “handy man” didn’t even know what to do. He tried to turn the water off for just that room and turned it off for the whole hotel. We changed rooms twice!

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I booked a month ahead of time told they could beat a competitors hotel price, quoted a rate/ night. Got there and they charged a different rate $20 more/ night. Told rates vary. Tried to talk to manager would not change anything. Tried to call owner can’t get through voicemail not hooked up. No room service at all even if requested. No breakfast included in your rate. (hotel they said they could beat had included breakfast). So if you decide to book prepare to pay a lot extra when you get here!

Attended a book launch of my favorite Bishop. The hall was gorgeous and clean with plenty of parking outside.

I stayed at this location and by far the worst location, the front desk they will charge you extra for late checkout even after they agree its fine, Management SWETA is a liar, very unprofessional and has no customer service skills, not sure who gave her the job but its time she retires unless this facility wants to keep loosing customers.

Its a good thing theres a head office where you can dispute your charges at least there willing to work with you.

Great food. Lousy room. Stayed in room 204 and the drowning noise of the outside HVAC was a HUGE nuisance. For 48 hours straight that’s all I could hear. Would have been great otherwise. Also, ant issue in the bathroom.

We had an opportunity to use the convention center facility for our 25th Wedding anniversary and it was a great experience! MARIA FERRAGINE, catering manager was exceptionally helpful together with staff for the evening function. Banquet Manager, Mr Waleed, together with his staff was very very helpful. The food was great too.

When working in Brampton, I always try to go to this hotel. While motel 6 and Marriotts sister company the Fairfield are nearby, this hotel has better accommodations, style and design. I will say the Fairfield has a full breakfast available free, while the courtyard does not even have a continental. The courtyard does have a kitchen. I would additionally say that the courtyards kitchen menu does need to cut back on a few creative dishes and add some standard fare. Just a plate of bacon eggs and potatoes would have been great. Or a cheeseburger. But everything seemed to be decided of "if it's not 'unique', we can't do it. Lastly. Ana, Sweta and Alex are the best there ever. Bonus points for me!
