I need to get a covid test to get a job. I booked an appoiment. When i arrived they said that all appoiment have been canceled. What kind of service like that

If I could choose a rating, I would give them 0 stars. I had the worst and terrible experience here. The lady I was talking to was very rude and disrespectful. First of all, I had an appointment for a covid test and their website clearly says that anyone is eligible to take the covid assessment. The lady asked what my reason is for wanting to take the test. I told her that I have an appointment and that I wanted to take a covid test for two reasons:
1. Beause of my work. I deal with many customers everytime I go to work and who knows if any of them have covid.
2. Someone I know tested positive for covid. I have been in contact with that person just 2-3 days before she tested postive for covid.

After all the reasons I gave, the lady still refused to have me tested because I don’t have any covid symptoms. As a result, she kept interrupting me while I was explaining my side of the story and kept saying “Okay Next. ” She seems to be in a hurry and wants to get to the next person.

I explained to her that there are people who are asymptomatic and does not show any symptoms but they still test positive for covid. And then she said “But you’re not showing any symptoms so you don’t have to take the test. Okay next! ” And I was very furious after that. I literally gave her a scientific fact and she still dismissed me, she should know better because she works at the hospital. She even made hand signals telling me to go away. She was the most unprofessional person I have ever met.

Take it from my experience and never come here. Please take a covid test elsewhere.

Fast and kid friendly here. I had one child to get tested and the whole process took under 20 minutes, including the 10 minute line-up outside. Our visit was early Saturday morning (thankfully they have weekend appointments) so the traffic problems from construction were nothing much. Parking is on the west side of the building for $5.

Went for a covid test this morning. Was done in 15 minutes, would have been quicker but for a child crying and refusing to be tested. Staff all were great and parking is validated.

This place worked well for my family too. The construction delay was almost nothing when we went early Saturday morning. It all took less than 20 minutes, including the 10 minute line up outside. Overhead roofing covered most of the line.

About 1/2 the people had a kid with them and the testing nurse was kind. Results came back in under 24 hours.

Parking was $5. Even with the construction on the east side of the building, the ground here on the west was level and okay for wheelchairs.

Worst experience ever, and this was before we even got the test. Rude staff, obnoxious, talk down, bad attitudes while talking to a fellow adult. This site does a disservice to Humber River Hospitals otherwise exceptional care. I left before I even had the test, the ladies here were so disrespectful. Its not as though any of us want to get a covid test.there is usually a reason we have to get one -please don't treat us as though we owe you something. We don't. If you are struggling with the pressure, and need to take it out on unsuspecting fellow humans, it is time for a new job. Meantime, avoid this place.

Quick service, I was out in 15 minutes and received my results within 15 hours. The results don’t specify PCR but just says RNA which is not accepted for travel. FYI

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews. Three of us got tested and were in and out within ~7 minutes. The staff are nice and efficient. Kid-friendly. Results the next day.
The only negative thing is all the traffic surrounding the building due to Finch ave being under construction. Give yourself more time than you think you need to get there, and everything will be ok.

Do not go here for your covid-19 test. The sign up might look professional but getting your results will be a headache. The nurse doing your test will say results will be in by 24hrs but when you call in they will not even look up your results for three days after your test. If you can not log into the Ontario results website they will not look up your results for you. I was not able to get my covid results from this testing site at all. Go to any other hospital network Scarborough or North York General or York region. Humber river is completely useless and horrible hospital network.

I had a appointment at 3pm, was stuck in traffic and construction right in front of theire place for abt 20 min when I went there the nurse told me I am late and therefor they can't do the test. If they close at 3 should have told me, i didn't know about it. She was very rude arrogant. It's comics test, I came back traveling, government of Canada told me I need to take my test after certain number of days and this lady don't even care. What if i am possitive! They are not even close.closedghaving inside

I wish I could give them -5 stars. Worst customer service ever. They don't do travelers PCR and the lady at the counter said ”you are gonna miss your flight” which is not true (I booked another site that has rapid, 7day testing.) and also not her business. And they made us pay for the parking. Highly recommend finding other places to get your service. Your time is too precious for this **** service

The experience was so horrible, the nurses are so unfrindly and unprofessional, it seems they do not deserve to be in health care field.

Even 1 star is way more than what they deserve. This is the worst service I have ever experienced. Honestly there is no service to even rate. RUDE. Their phone is unplugged or something. No results. Overall, just terrible.

Still waiting for my test results and no one answering the phone. It’s passed 3 days waiting and need it to resume my work. I am getting so annoyed of waiting. Few people I know did a test same day and got their results back the following day.

Made an appointment here to get tested. It's been 4 days and still have not gotten my results. I also tried to call them but no luck. Don't go here

I made an appointment online for a COVID test a day before going, went there for a test on jan 15 in the afternoon and it took about 10 min to complete the test and get out of there. Results were on the website next day’s morning. I guess the process has improved so far

Mom went there for a covid test and still hasn't received her results two weeks later. Have called there and they take her name, birthday and phone number to call back but never do dont go to 2111 finch west for covid test

I have been waiting for 2 weeks now for my result and i have called and called but nobody is getting back to me or at least tell me something. It's terrible to have to wait this long.

Please make this your last resort for getting tested because you will never get your result in time.

Well it's been 5 days now and my roommate went and had his test done he has not had any results given to him online so after reading all these reviews here I'm a little concerned about telling him to go there to find out his results it seems like a whole but your confusion but my advice to everyone don't go to Humber river why not go to Branson medical centre at Finch & Bathurst it's small it's tucked away and you'll get in and you can get out don't go to the high traffic busy hospitals you will be there forever

Ive waited 2 weeks for test results and have left dozens of calls without a response.go get tested somewhere else. These people do not care about you

I went with my three young children, 10,7 and 2 years old. We all had symptoms. The nurses were professional and dealt with my children beautifully

Don’t go this place if you want fly these people are retired they don’t know what they doing never ever seen this Saturday morning I did COVID test 5 days letter not yet results I miss my flight don’t go

On two occasions I have had negative experiences at this COVID testing facility for Humber River. The website clearly states that this assessment centre is open to anyone who wishes to get tested with no appointment necessary. My first trip there was on a Friday evening, I showed up an hour before closing and just as I was about to pay for parking I was told by multiple other people not to bother because they are no longer accepting patients for the day. They had a security guard with a barricade at the door. Maybe think about noting a "taking last patients at time" on your website so you don't waste people's time and money.

The second experience was even worse. I showed up the next day on a Saturday morning at 8: 30AM, half an hour prior to opening. I paid for my parking, got in line (behind approx 30 others already there) and patiently waited my turn. As 9AM approached, a nurse came out and asked who was here that was having a COVID test that was not having an upcoming surgery; I fell into this category. I was told that I would not been seen (even though I fairly waited in the queue) and told to come back at 10AM. They were prioritizing people who had surgeries, with no appointments.

NO WHERE on the website does it say anything about priority individuals or appointments. If these people with surgeries are so urgent, get them appointments or have a separate area for them. You're encouraging people to show up for a COVID test but then turning them away. You're lucky they are even showing up. 10AM did not work for me and a number of others in the line as well.

I hope you understand that by turning people away who were fairly waiting in line, not to mention woke up early, paid for parking, now cannot come at your 'suggested time' AND MAY POTENTIALLY HAVE COVID, you are encouraging them to go back into the community and possibly spread and infect others. Nice job guys. I won't be coming back for testing.

Someone better put this facility in check.

What’s going on there at Humber Hospital. My husband came willingly to have a Covid19 test because he had traveled from Saskatoon to Toronto. He did the test, because he’s a visitor to Canada and he doesn’t have acHealth Card here and now Due to that he hasn’t received his test results, a test he did almost 2 weeks now. Now what is he had or maybe if he was exposed because he traveled. How would he know if he’s negative or positive as no one has called him or made an effort to get him his test results. This is bad, we have called Humber hospital severally, called Ontario health services, all to no avail. Are you guys really trying to fight this Covid or whatever.

It offers covid 19 testing. First come first serve basis. One hour in queue followed with 30 mns for registration and another 30 for swab test. Overall, it you need to give at least 2 hours for entire process.

This place needs to be investigated by public health. Gross mismanagement of covid testing. Inaccurate operation hours.

Go early but expect at least 3-4 hour wait. Priority between 8am to 10am is given to kids 12 and under, seniors 65 and older and if you need testing for upcoming surgery. Staff if friendly, caring and quick.
