Got an appointment for 11: 20 today. At 11: 50 the line hasn't moved an inch. I'm going home. And I'm going back to work without a test. This joke has costed me enough already.

Wait times are ridiculous, 3-4 hours at least, and I watched over 50 people get turned away in less than half an hour, because they were at max capacity. We live in the capital city of our country, this is embarrassing. I would like to add that the nurses, doctors, and support staff are excellent at this facility, second to none. The wait times here are not their fault, so please be kind and respectful. Take care of each other.

Long wait times this week. Showed up at 6: 30, got out before noon. Wear warm clothes as they keep the temperature cooler inside the building as well. Staff were fantastic. There is a 1 hour wait time after you get into the building on top of the posted times in the lineup outside. Wish they could have more staff to keep the center open longer.

Friday Sept. 11.
Duration: Arrived 8: 35am. Done 12: 25pm.
Process: form a socially distant line, check in in the hallway in the building, provide personal, health card, and symptom information. Sit on chairs in waiting area. Check in a second time by providing the same personal and health information, and don't provide symptoms a second time. Sit on chairs. Patients reporting symptoms get blood pressure taken etc.and return to sit on chairs. Finally, get called to see a doctor who dictates notes through a microphone. Another healthcare person swabs your nose. Results provided closer to 2 days if the person reports symptoms. Results up to 5 days later if no reported symptoms.
Cleanliness: staff wipe down chairs constantly. Dots tell you where to stand in line.
Recommendation: make an appointment at a location that accepts appointments.
Rating: process not explained by any staff, no value to checking in twice, check-in person microphone was faulty and we couldn't hear anything, making the re-checkin longer.
Staff: professional, diligent, pleasant

I arrived at the Moodie facility on Sep 24th due to family emergency where my mother is terminal. The security guard there at the tail end of the line told me they were closed at 8: 30 am. I explained that I need the test for flight that was two days from now but he refused.

I ended up going to testing facility on Brewer St on 24 Sep and still four days later, there are no results. My flight has been postponed to 29th Sep and I am probably going to have to postponed it again even when I have to get to Kenya in a hurry.

This is totally unacceptable that despite telling the doctors, that its for a urgent flight to get to Kenya to help my mother who is dying, they were not able to produce the covid results even four days laters.

Was very impressed with all the staff. Everyone was friendly, caring, kind and extremely efficient.

I went on a Thursday around 1: 30 PM with a relative. We got out before 3. The tent outside made for appreciable cover from the rain while waiting in line. The line progressed steadily and the staff did very well with giving directions.
Like the website says, you should bring your health card and a pen. You must wear a mask the whole time and must wash your hands if you ever touch your face while indoors.
The first lineup is for what I guess to be the triage desk where they take down basic info and an email for the online patient portal where you will receive your results. Based on your symptoms, they will adjust your priority accordingly.
Then you enter a waiting area where you are called up for registration - here they ask for more info and emergency contact numbers. Pretty typical stuff. Then you sit back down in the waiting area (staff frequently disinfect the chairs that are spaced well apart from each other as well as all other major surfaces).
They call your name and you are led to a private evaluation room where they they swap the back of your throat and both nostrils. It's a little uncomfortable but not as bad as some make it out to be.
Overall everyone was kind and clear with their directions.
They say the results are typically back within a day.

The wait is long depending upon the time you attend. Too bad there isn't a website with real time info. Processing time is short and the new slimmer swabs are much less unpleasant than the ones used a few weeks ago. Nice people working despite what must be tedious conditions for them. Thanks for what you do!

Line-up can be long. But folks are nice and professional, doing a job that I would not want to do. Thanks for what you do.

Signs are up for every half hour point of waiting, so you have some idea of what the wait time to get in is. Also half a dozen Porta potties out in the parking lot if needed.
07 October 2020 16:01
Arrived at 8: 45 am (15 min before opening) just to see the sign that it is closed due to volume capacity. The line of people wraps around on neighbour streets.

I wanted to be tested for my peace of mind. No way am I waiting in line in doors with unknown people who could have COVID-19. Disappointing since other provinces are testing via drive by. I want to give zero stars.

I went there 4 weeks ago, on a Wednesday at 11am. Hot sunny day at least 28 degrees not including the humidex, lineup under the long tent. I was asked 3 times about myself and my health, and discovered how hard it is to speak clearly through the masks. It took over an hour to go through the process. Everyone was pleasant and patient, although one nurse really didn't speak loud enough through the plexiglass shielding. I will be going again tomorrow morning at 10am or so, as I visit a relative in a safe retirement residence and everyone there gets tested every 2 weeks.

They opened much earlier than they were supposed to as the line had started getting long already. They walked the line to make sure that those weren't able to were moved up. The whole staff was extremely courteous and professional through the entire process.

Never have I seen such a pathetically disorganized organization. On July 6 at 1 PM more than 50 people were strung haphazardly around the pathways and grass in 30 degree sun. The line moved about 10 meters in 30 minutes so I left before I passed out from the heat! I expected better! Brian Clarke

I've visited the clinic last week and I can say everyone from the security to other clerks including nurses and doctors were very helpful. It was a very hot day and the security was offering water and I have to say very nice of them:)
Thank you everyone who works here to help people during the pandemic.
My test result came around 30 hours.

Hopefully they can consider "Drive-thru" option as it helps testing with peace of mind.

Wow, they really made an unpleasant thing pleasant. Friendly people, well organized and they even opened up an hour early. I was done and out before the websites posted time of opening. Great job everyone!

From the first interaction I observed, the health providers treated others with compassion and it meant so much. You can tell they not only care about doing testing, but helping alleviate stress about the experience. It took three and a half hours for me to complete the test (I showed up at 9: 10am).

Thank you to every person who was there, especially the super tired provider who was still kind, Dr. Li and the entire security team for immediately and continuously sanitizing chairs and any surfaces (one guy had a "Bob Ross" name tag that made me smile).

Well organized, caring and compassionate workers at this location. I think we may have waited about 3 hours, but they bumped us up the line when they heard why we were getting tested (Family palliative visit). I am thankful for all they did today. This is my first crowd type outing since March 12th 2020, so I was nervous for my compromised immune system, but they did everything right. Than you all.
