Im pregnant and I had my appointment for 1: 00pm (which I was told on the phone) and then I arrive 12: 58pm and check in. I’m starving because I was told not to eat much for the ultrasound, so I arrive kind of empty stomach just with a few snacks, then im told at the reception my appointment is at 1: 20 so I wait im starving at this point but its fine, 3 people that arrived after me with appointments after me were let in and a lady with an appointment for 1: 30 was let in as well before me, I’m getting more hungry to the point my stomach acid is killing me. Then I go in and the ultrasound lady literally pushed the ultrasound wand in my stomach so hard my baby was kicking around nonstop and it was quite painful. The pictures are almost all the same. I’d go somewhere else if I were you.

I called this place and the lady who was in line was very rude doesn’t know how to talk, as she is all doing for free, show some respect to patients who called for appointments…

I had a wonderful experience at the Coxwell Ultrasound clinic. The booking process was easy and the receptionist was both accommodating and friendly when I arrived. The technician was so sweet and made the whole experience very pleasant! Highly recommend this clinic for ultrasounds.

Cold and unsympathetic staff. Run-down and corner store like place. Receptionist was rude and barely looked up from her desk. Technician spoke little English. Would not recommend.

N. B. The owner says I “have reviewed the wrong place”. I have not. This really was my experience at Coxwell Ultrasound.

All the staff at Coxwell Ultrasound were very accommodating with my recent visit. In a time where its very difficult to get any diagnostics done, they were able to hold a last minute spot open for me while I made a cross town trek.

If you want good photos of your baby don't go here. I am 32 weeks and I got two photos of the same thing.his "Head" my partner came in she didn't show him anything we couldn't see anything at all.the tech just didn't care.
I wanted proper photos to have for my last ultrasound and I don't have them now, So I will probably be going else where for a private one.terrible.no wonder this place is rated so poorly.
I've gone to other techs and they had NO issue.considering the day before my ultrasound I had a ultrasound somewhere else an they saw EVERYTHING.head legs arms. So either it's the machines or sh! Tty techs.

Used one of my limited sick days to have an ultrasound because they don’t have appointments later in the afternoon. Last minute I was told the tech that does that type of ultrasound is sick and my appointment was cancelled. So frustrating.

I went 2 times for obstetric ultrasounds. 2 stars because it was easy to book both appointments but the ultrasounds themselves were terrible. The first technician was ok, at least she greeted me in a nice way, but stayed 35 min quiet while doing my ultrasound. My husband came inside and she showed the baby for less than 2 minutes. The second time I went to this place I had a different technician and this one was awful. She started saying that she does not talk and turned on the radio (in a rude way). When she called my husband, he stayed inside the room for less than 1 min, she quickly showed us the baby and was rude answering about the gender (we knew the gender before going to the place because we did the blood test and the midwife wrote on the requisition to tell us the gender). We totally understand that the staff can not discuss the ultrasound results, I wasn't expecting anything related to that. What this place fails is in providing customer service, they barely ask if we are doing well, and they quickly try to get rid of us. I don't know how to explain it better, but it isn't a place where I felt welcome. Unfortunately, I won't go back and I won't recommend it to other people.

I wanted to say how great the tech I had was, her name was Lina. She was very caring and thorough and probably the best tech I have seen to date.

The receptionists were so nice but the woman that did my first trimester ultrasound made me extremely uncomfortable. Soon as I pulled my pants down first thing she asked was “How many kids do you have? ” And soon as I said only 1 she was like “You have a lot of stretch marks I thought you already had five kids. ” acting like it’s funny or something? If you’re working with pregnant women I don’t think you should be discussing their body appearance at all. There’s actually women that are super emotional and probably would’ve felt ugly if she did that to them.

Lots of the reviews I read before coming here made me nervous that I would have a bad experience and that wasn't the case at all so wanted to give them at least one good review. Booking an appointment was very simple and fast, I was in later that week! The technician herself was professional and efficient and I have no complaints. Overall had a great experience here.

I've been here twice now, super easy to get ahold of and super efficient/friendly reception team. I had originally booked with a female ultrasound technician but she wasn't able to make it for my appointment, one of the receptionists called me days before my appointment to ensure I would be comfortable seeing a male technician. I really appreciate that they didn't just assume and spring it on me when I showed up, though it was fine with me anyways I found that asking was very considerate. I had pleasant conversation with the receptionist when I showed up for my appointment as I filled out my COVID screening form and she also assured me that since I'm seeing a male technician if it came down to needing an internal ultrasound that she would come into the room with me to make me more comfortable (I didn't need one anyways but again, so considerate).

Negative comments about the reception team here must've caught them on an extremely off day because I can't imagine anyone I've ever dealt with here being anything but awesome especially during the pandemic.dealing with people on the phone and face to face all day is that much more difficult.

My ultrasound went well, I didn't catch his name but he got the job done, answered any questions I had and sent me home with pictures to show my partner.

During this hard time it's OK to allow only the patient inside the room. I had my Obs ultrasound done here today. A senior lady named Leena did the sonography with efficiency and care. She was very helpful to me and asking about my comfort during the whole process. With each screen she was wondering about the life moms carry inside them. She was literally talking to my baby. It was a pleasure when you get more besides the usual test process.

Never had an issue booking appointments and the receptionist is super friendly! She advises where there is cheaper parking and helped an elderly man get an appt when he showed up to the wrong location. One tech I had was kind of obnoxious and couldn't believe I didn't want to know the baby's sex, but whatever. They have one of the newest models of ultrasound machines so you get great pics (they have printed a pic of my baby at every apt.)

I also wanted to post a positive review to balance out the negative ones. The receptionist has always been kind and polite with me, and the technicians have been professional, thorough, and friendly. It is true that it is better to call back later if you don't get through, instead of leaving a message. It is also true that partners are not allowed in for the whole ultrasound (even when there is no pandemic), though they always offer to call the partner once the ultrasound is complete, to show them the findings. There is nothing wrong with the service provided, as long as you are aware of these things.

The receptionist was not rude at all, all of my phone calls were answered. I was not allowed to have my husband attend my obstetrics ultrasound but totally understandable (COVID). My tech was quick and knowledgeable.

Warning to anyone looking to book an obstetric ultrasound here: this place does not allow your partner/spouse to come into the ultrasound room until the very end of your scan, for about 30 seconds max. When I was waiting to go into my dating scan I realized what was going on and asked the receptionist about this and she said, and I quote: "we'll let them go in at the end. IF they can find the baby". Honestly, how is this okay? (Side note, the receptionist here is always rude/huffy, and who says that to a pregnant woman before her scan?)

Why would an ultrasound clinic not allow a woman's partner to be present during an ultrasound scan of their baby? What if during the scan you couldn't find the heartbeat, would you actually expect me to get dressed and go tell my husband this news in the waiting room in front of other people? SO NOT OKAY. I found another place to book my anatomy scan where they actually allow partners in the room for the whole appointment and I'm so glad I did. It's his baby too, why should he be left out of these appointments? It's 2020 people, not 1950.

I read so many negative reviews for this place that I wanted to balance them with my own positive experiences—receptionist has been very kind to me on the phone and in person, always answers any questions I have very well. Technicians are friendly and thorough. I’ve had good experiences here!

I will give this place a big zero. Their receptionist is extremely rude and non professional. They canceled my appointment two weeks back to back.and when i called them and made the request that if they could make the process of sending my results a bit faster. The receptionist told me that she can not listen to everyone's request. I told her that you cancelled twice my appointment and she took it personal stating that it was not her. She did not took any responsibility to assist me.

The receptionist gave me the wrong instructions on the phone when I booked the appointment. I needed an appointment for an ABDOMINAL ultrasound, but was given fasting and water consumption instructions for a PELVIC ultrasound. When I arrived for my appointment and the receptionist realized the error, I was told that it "should be OK", but why then give the instructions at all? I didn't trust it and I want to be sure about my health, so I decided not do the ultrasound and rebook elsewhere. It'a not McDonald's or one size fits all. I refused because I want to be sure, not "it should be ok" as I was told. Thanks for nothing Insight Diagnostic.

They never return messages, the boss should figure out a tracking system on the number of messages left and the number of calls returned. I have left four messages over the past two weeks, no response.

Comfortable place for ultrasound and scans, very helpful staff, you will need to call and book appointment and be sure to follow instructions on what to eat or drink before your scheduled scan/ultrasound. Lina was very polite and helpful, appreciate her time and patience. Overall, a very nice experience!

Rude receptionist. I turned up for my appointment for which they couldn't find. Then she insulted me that I must have made it elsewhere. Yet, this is the only ultrasound place I go to for my entire length of my pregnancy. I'm not stupid. They also lost the requisition form that my midwife had faxed them even though when I made my appointment I made sure to confirm that they had my form. It was not my fault that they lost both my appointment AND my requisition form. As if my midwife faxed it to the wrong place especially since this is the only place I go to on record. My midwife wanted me to have the ultrasound urgently and now had to wait a week. Absolutely terrible, with no apologies.

I love the service here. I dont think that receptionist is rude, just not overly friendly, which is ok. Otherwise I never had any problem at all! They are almost always on time and very professional.

Rude technician who wouldn't allow me in with my wife for our 20 week anatomy ultrasound because "I would be bored. " Totally ruined our excitement to see our baby on screen. Very impersonal.

Save yourself a lot of frustration and go somewhere else. This location NEVER answers their phone! In my most recent experience here, I called and left a message requesting an appointment. I missed their return call so they left a message asking me to call back. I have called back 8 times over 4 hours and no-one has answered.
I called the head office to ask if there's a better way to reach someone and they said "They're on lunch. " I explained that I had called 8 times over the last 4 hours and they said "Well it must be really busy then. Try calling again. Leave a message. " The whole customer service attitude is terrible! If this lab is that busy (and not just today but every time I have tried to make an appointment here), then they need to hire another person (or just someone different?) to answer their phones.
For the record, I called another Insight location at 1: 00pm. The call was immediately answered and the test was booked within a couple of minutes with no issues.

This receptionist is extremely RUDE. She tried to tell me when I should be getting my ultrasound done even though my Dr.told me a specific time frame. I've called twice and they DO NOT answer the phone you have to leave a message and then they call you back. I cancelled my appointment and went somewhere else just because of the rudeness of the receptionist. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone unless you don't care about RUDENESS.

I read the bad reviews before going there, but decided to go there anyways since most other ultrasound clinics had poor reviews as well.
My experience at Coxwell ultrasound went really well. The lab technicians were very professional (i had to see two of them) and the receptionist as well. I understand that to some people she might come out as aggressive, but I believe that that is simply a way of talking (with no ill will intended) rather than actually being aggressive towards the patient.
I also believe that for businesses in the public health system, people take the time to leave bad reviews for things that went wrong (which i understandable of course), but do not do so when things do go well (because it is hopefully expected).
I recommend this clinic to anyone

I tried to book an appointment for an ultrasound, the receptionist decided that after a series of questioning that I wasn’t eligible for an ultrasound at 17 weeks in my pregnancy and that I should wait two weeks despite my obgyn requesting me to do one.but what does he know he’s only an obgyn and has been seeing me throughout my pregnancy, she a receptionist she must know so much more. I found her very arrogant and condescending and I decided I don’t need to further explain my medical history to a receptionist to book an appointment for an ultrasound I can just call one of the other 10 million places and book somewhere else, I called MyHealth Diagnostics just at Coxwell and Mortimer, had much different experience I would suggest others do the same. They were very professional and accommodating and it made me feel a lot more confident in their service and abilities.

The receptionist is INCREDIBLY RUDE. I think this individual needs to be retrained as she is quite unmannerly.
