CPR Cell Phone Repair Oakville

While I originally thought I brought my phone to the right place, almost a day after CPR replaced my screen it malfunctioned again. Fine, this happens with new parts. But when given the opportunity to fix it, khan first claimed he needed a new ticket ($$$) and then suddenly didn't have anymore replacement screens and didn't offer to get more. Someone who cares about their customers would see the job done. Would advise against getting rogers repairs done here.

I got my phone fixed about two weeks ago. The issue was with the screen and the screen is not working. As he fixed it, he said that I came with a one month warranty. Two weeks after the repair the screen stopped working, and I took it back to the store. I asked for a repair as it was still within the time of the warranty, and he started saying no. The issue is internal damage and not with the screen however, he failed to show me where the internal damage was. He said the issue was with the screen and then after I said, OK fix it as it’s part of the warranty, he said no the issue was part of the internal damage. He failed to show me where the internal damage was as you can see in the picture the only issues with the screen and the issue fit inside the warranty. As you can see in the picture the screen is not damaged which made it eligible for the warranty

Amazing service. I have not previously used any third-party repair services for Apple devices, but I was very happy with how CPR was able to fix my iPad 7 when it had a logic board issue which Apple Store was unwilling to fix (only option to trade in and pay an inflated price for a refurb or buy a new one). Very helpful and I would say great value for the money.

Very good service at this place! The owner is very helpful and polite, I have been a repeat customer for years and he will always give me discounts and free perks! He actually gave me a free screen protector today. Other cell phone places in the nearby area are much more expensive and not nearly as fast with the turnaround time for your screen repairs and other help you might need. Recommend this place to anyone and give them 10/10

Akbar gave me excellent service. I have repaired my iPad numerous times, repaired phones and purchased phones. Service is always fast, friendly and reasonable.

I brought my phone in for repair on the back glass which had cracked. The back was cracked for a few months before bringing it in, and I had been using it without issues in a case. After having it repaired here for $140, the screen LCD was damaged. It came in with no damage. I was told by their salesperson “they are not responsible for damages to the phone while in their possession”. So these guys will break your phone and then sell you more repairs. Wouldn’t recommend this store at all.

Mr Khan’s service was simply amazing. He was really helpful with what we needed. He did a great job of providing us all great screen protectors for all our devices. I’m a very picky reviewer and this chap deserves a good review. Thank you Sir for your lovely service!

Absolute worst. Called and came to agreement, as soon as i should up, it was clear he did not want to keep his end of the agreement. His excuses Come back later, I have to think about it. Not trustworthy at all!

These guys are AMAZING! My iPhone suddenly died and nothing I did could bring it back to life. I took it to an Apple store and they said they were unable to repair it. I took it to another repair shop who was able to identify the problem but not able to repair it (issue with motherboard). CPR was able to repair and get me back all the data on my device that hadn’t properly backed up before it died. Seeing all my data restored and fully accessible again made me cry for joy! Calling CPR was the best thing I could have done. They saved me. Their over the phone estimate was accurate from price to timing. The work done phenomenal! Anyone looking for a place to take your broken devices to should look no further! I will be taking all my electronics to them from now on!

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. Went in got quoted $100 and when I came to pay they said they told me $150. I asked to speak to the original worker I talked to but they lied saying he is on flight. They didn't even repair my phone its still broken. THEY ARE THIEVES. PLEASE AVOID!

Gave me a cheaper rate for a screen repair than any other place I checked and also threw in a case for practically free. Will definitely be coming back should I ever have any future problems

Customer service was pleasant and it was an easy process. Screen on my iPhone was lifting, had it repaired here twice. Although, I am impressed with the quality of the repair as it is now lifting for a third time. Will be going elsewhere for future repairs.

The absolute worst repair shop you could go to. My phone was slightly cracked so I brought it in for repair, $300 dollars. Ridiculous first of all. I get my phone back and its tinted yellow, very dark, and doesn't sense my touch. They tell me theres nothing they can do, a month later half of my screen is blocked white, can't see half my screen as it is literally half whited-out. I call this shop to use my warranty, they claim the warranty ends once the screen goes white, even though it was their fault in doing a defective screen repair. Unbelievable. Save your time and money by not coming here. Thank me later.

I contacted Asad to have the screen replaced on my phone and I dropped the phone off for repair.
They called me the next day to let me know it’s been repaired and is ready for pickup.
When I received the “fixed” phone there was a noticeable gap at the bottom between the screen and the body of the phone. The gap was large enough where I could fit my fingernails in between the screen and the phone. This would be a nightmare for dust getting inside the phone. The speaker for the ear was also deformed and raised where you could tell they pried open the screen.

I called them and was advised to take the phone back to get the screen glued back on properly. I was given an apology and told that they were in a rush when the work was done so the glue didn’t have enough time to cure.

Second time I go and pick up the phone. The speaker part was fixed, however the screen was still showing a large gap between itself and the phone. I’m obviously upset at this point because of the inconvenience of making multiple trips. Again I complain and am told to leave the phone with them so they can fix it (3rd time!).

When I get the call that it’s been fixed, I take a look at it and although it is slightly better, there was still a gap at the bottom of the screen between the new screen and the phone itself. Still not fixed!

I drop the phone off AGAIN, and the next day I get a call letting me know that they re-installed my old cracked screen because the new screen broke as they were trying to fix it. I’m told that it will take 4 weeks to order a new screen (funny since they were able to order the original screen in one day). I’m told to come pick up the phone and they will give me a refund.

I go and pick up the phone and when giving me a refund, they are trying to charge me a $20 service fee. A service fee? I’m told the service fee was for the work they completed. WHAT WORK? !? !? You never even fixed the phone! I should be charging THEM a service fee for the number of trips I had to make back and forth! The balls on this guy. He then agrees to not charging the service fee. He says he will send me an e-transfer refund. I ask for a refund back to my original Visa as that was how I paid. He says something like his credit card machine is down (how convenient). Then he starts writing me a cheque. I decline the cheque and agree to an e-transfer, which takes him 20 minutes to process. What kind of professional business provides a refund via cheque or e-transfer?

2 weeks and MULTIPLE trips to the store later, I am back at square one, with a cracked screen and who knows what other damage underneath that they did. What a waste of time.

I strongly advise against going to this business for your cell phone needs. There are many other places where you’ll get better service and satisfaction. Take a look at some of the other reviews regarding their lack of professionalism.
Other reviews have also stated how they have had to make multiple trips. Wish I read those before going here.

Mr Khan, I really had a 6 star expectation from CPR, but it wasn’t anywhere close.

My laptop took 2 extra days to repair than what was promised.

Also, I wasn’t told about the issue, and the cost of repairs. It was directly repaired and I was charged for it. I felt cheated because I wasn’t mentally ready to pay that much on repairs.

Even after expressing my disappointment, the lady in your shop didn’t have anything to say. I had to call multiple times to know the status, and also to beg for a receipt which I never received.

Why do I give 2 stars and not 1?
Because my laptop is working now.

They provided great service at a fair price. They told me how long my repair works take and they were on time. They had me test the functionality of my device before leaving. I'm happy with the service. I would recommend this business.

They got my iMac back in business for a reasonable price. Apple was not interested in repairing but they came through and switched out hard drive. Saved me $$$ - (at least for a couple of years, I hope) Recommend!

I highly recommend this store if you need cellphone repair. She went above and beyond to help me. Outstanding customer service from the lady who works there! She even offered job connections when she heard I was looking for work in the IT field. I couldn't have asked for more. She has made a customer for life.

Tried month two.still working on them.tried month 4.still working on them.it has been months, i finally get a call to pick them up, i did and they arent even my phones. Spoke to the owner and asked if i can get my phones back, he brushed me off said they can dispose after 30 days and hung up! Huh? Ive been following up with you for months.how can you just dispose my phone? Had a horrible experience.not sure if you would have the same but thought i would share. Found this on a local page care to explain? And are you going to fix this problem?

I had water damage in my phone, thought it was broken and needed to buy a new one. I sent it here for someone to look at it and they fixed my phone, changing the screen. Good as new. These people are life savers, thank you so much!

Amazing service! Dropped off my cracked iPad in the morning and picked it up in the afternoon and it was like brand new. I will refer Cell2Fix to all my friends and family!

brought in my Nintendo switch with a cracked glass cover and working LED screen. Told me the repair was going to take 1 business day and actually took 4. BUT they actually repaired it with another BROKEN switch screen (scratched glass cover, flawed LED screen). Turns out they just used the parts from another broken switch to put it on mine. They still had the audacity to charge me 70$ for the broken repair.
P. S I came in on the third day to pick it up because I called and they said it was ready. But it wasn’t so I wasted 3 trips in total all for nothing
Took it to another store, they immediately said the screen was put in very unprofessionally with the glue marks and such

Had my iPhone battery replaced & CPR gave prompt efficient service (especially based on current Covid-19) would recommend them

My iPad has a problem with charging and they took it almost 5 days to fix. End up it still does not fix the problem and I need to go back again. They also made a fingerprint inside the glass which cannot be clean. I really not recommend this shop. Such a waste of time!

I took my phone to CPR Cell Phone Repair Oakville to fix my cracked iPhone screen. When I picked up my phone, it appeared fixed and I was told if anything happens within the next 30 days, it would be covered under warranty. In addition, the technician installed a screen protector on my phone ‘for free’. 2 days later, I noticed a small crack on my screen and my phone started glitching periodically like never before. When I took my phone back to CPR, I was told that they do not provide warranties and that CPR does not install free screen protectors. It was clear that CPR installed a used screen on my phone and tried to hide it by installing a screen protector.

I have incredible friendly service from Muhallab when I came in to replace the I-phone screen. The repair was fast and on time and well done! I will certainly come back if I ever needed service on my phone. Highly recommended! Ted

Do not recommend. I had my Pixel 3 repaired Jan 23rd 2020 at the oakville location. My charging report was repaired. During that time, my case was not glued back together. I didn't notice, because I keep an otterbox on the back of it, which hid it.

On Monday Feb 17th, I dropped my phone in water, for less than 20 seconds. It stopped working. Since everywhere was closed for family day, I brought it in Tuesday, and noticed the phone was not glued properly back together, and it had a gap in the case around it.

They said "Oh it happens sometimes, it's just your screen that is dead, it will be $200"

I said it wasn't really fair to have to pay that, since the phone is water resistant. It's rate IP68, which means it should handle 1.5M of water for 30 minutes.

I've even taken underwater videos of my kids and had no issues (8 months prior)

I asked them to email me if anything else was wrong once they opened it, and they didn't even do that.

They told me it could not be fixed, and there was nothing they could do.

They were not going to compensate me for anything, and "Maybe we can give you a discount off future repairs"

No thank you! So, now I'm without a phone.

The person in the store said that repaired phones are not water resistant, it said that nowhere on the contract that I signed.

I would avoid them at all costs, and take your business elsewhere.

Don’t waste your time. Dropped off an iPad with a cracked screen Friday night. Told to pickup Saturday afternoon at 2: 00, $70, okay great. Go in at 2: 30 on Saturday, they haven’t even started on it. Tells me to come back in an hour and it’ll be done. An hour later I get a call saying it’s now $170 for an iPad screen and they still haven’t done anything. Had to go in three time’s to be exactly where I started, thanks for completely wasting my time.

Terrible management, clearly your staff has no idea how to quote products that come through your door. Even worse they can’t properly schedule pickup times. Well deserved one star. Happy to go somewhere else, will be telling all my friends and family to stay away.

Fake biz? They answer with just a "hello"? I asked if I reached the right #. If this was a biz or home #. The guy sounded like he just woke up! & this is supposed to be an authorized shop for a particular brand of cell! I'd NEVERe go here. Very bad first impression AND gut feeling!

I needed a battery replacement for a more uncommon, exotic phone. They could repair the phone but ordering the battery would be expensive. I suggested that I could order the battery myself. One week later, I brought the battery in and they replaced my old one out in under an hour for a very reasonable price. Thank you Osama + tech.

On the morning of Tuesday January 7,2020 I awoke to not the sound of my cell phone alarm. Thinking that the battery had just died because I had not plugged it in I headed off to work. When I got to the office I plugged my 2014 Samsung Galaxy S4 to charge and thought nothing more of it until I went to turn it on later that day and the phone was extremely hot. I headed straight to Eastgate Square in Hamilton to have it seen to only to be told it was not due to the battery or the charging port, the board itself had issues.

I spent the evening on Kijiji hunting down a replacement Samsung S4, and found one which I took apart and put my board into, still nothing so I just swapped my SSD and SIN card over to the new cell turned it on and realized that not only did my contacts not save to my SIN as I had thought but my app called UPM had not been saving to my removeable SSD. That is when the dread set in, all the passwords to every account, every system that I use was gone. I do not use the same password for anything, so losing over 100 accounts was a hard pill to swallow. I did keep a back up on the PC but I had not updated it since August 2019.

I spent the evening googling how to repair Samsung S4 mother boards and watched hours of youtube videos only to realize this was way beyond my scope of abilities to repair. I then typed in "how to repair samsung s4" and behold the first option was titled "Samsung Galaxy S4 Motherboard Repair" by a company called Cell Phone Repair, and they had a location in Oakville. I sent a message at 2 am and had a reply from Asad Khan who advised me to bring it in. I had picked up another S4 in Oakville as well before I stopped by just incase they needed parts.

The staff member at the desk advised that with motherboard issues depending on the type they may need to send it out if their staff cannot fix the issue once they test the board. He advised that it may not be worth the costs due to the age of the phone, but it wasn't the value of the phone, it was the value of all the data on the phone that I wanted. Our office has had harddrives fail before that had to be sent for data retrevial and that was in the 1000's of dollars so I was well aware of what I was expecting to pay.

On January 10,2020,3 days after my cell had failed and only 2 days after I had dropped it off, I received a call. My cell motherboard had been repaired and all was in order, I could come pick it up. I was only charged 120.00CAD for everything, they even cleaned the phone.

I rarely write reviews but this company did an outstanding job. I am very grateful to the staff of Cell Phone Repair, especially Ossama. He was very professional, straight forward about the complexities involved with motherboard issues and that not always can they be fixed inhouse. However they could send out to a data retrival company if need be (This ended up not being the case) Again I am grateful for the serivce they provided to me, the speed at which the repair was carried out and the low cost it ended up being.

What a wonderful bunch of people. Went there to get the broken screen replaced of my phone, expecting that I will have to drop of the phone and visit again to pick it up. The team there was very efficient and got it done for us in about 30 minutes only. So happy with the service. Thank you!

Had an issue with my charging port. They were awesome, friendly, great service, quick turnaround. Don't go anywhere else.
