I FEEL HOME IN THIS PLACE!

Hours are good. Half price apps after 9pm. Service is always great. And they validate parking.

Service was excellent. Pretty noisy on a Friday night. Can't say enough about our server. She was incredible

My first experience at the store wasn't as bad even though their sweet potato fries had extra oil in it. I enjoyed the coconut shrimp which was why I thought to give a 2nd try.

The guy who attended to I and my husband was terribly bad. On arrival into be restaurant, no one attended to use for almost 3mins. The guy who eventually came had an unwelcoming attitude.

I ordered 1 water and lemonade, no ice. He came with 2 cups of water then later with a dirty cup of lemonade with ice.

We sat for some minutes and no one came to follow-up on orders. We eventually left without touching anything.

I won't recommend.

Eden is absolutely amazing, such a kind person and she took amazing care of us. The food was amazing as well

I tried the tacos they were amazing so was the service they made sure I liked the food. The manager serving me, Sachin, was exquisite.

1st impression/Atmosphere:
Don’t let the updated appearance entice and fool you. Odd to see an empty dining room on Saturday mid-afternoon during the summer holiday. Nobody to greet at the front, had to seat ourselves. No menus, no napkins, no waters, nor condiments brought to the table.

Waited for several minutes, finally someone came to see us - Waiter asked for our order, but we still hadn’t received any menus. Added delay.

Bathrooms:
Climb up 2 sets of stairs to reach the bathrooms or use the accessible washroom at the main entrance - the one that smelled like it hadn’t been cleaned for a couple days, and had some dried poop smeared on the toilet seat seemed to have been there for quite a while. It was still before 3pm.

Menu:
Some great options, sounding all very promising. Somewhat overpriced at face value - Extremely overpriced when you realize what you end up with for the price you pay. Great beer special: $5,17oz, domestic.

Kids Meals:
-Only SOME of the kids meals come with a side order (fries, salad, etc) If you order pizza or pasta, it will not come with a side order. Only SOME of the pop is included or refillable with kids meals. If you want root beer, it will cost extra and only comes in a bottle (non-refillable) AND on top of it, after it all, they will charge you $1.49 extra for ANY kids drink although it doesn’t indicate that anywhere on the menu.
-Kids pasta with butter and parm was pretty tasteless, unattractive and swimming in butter. (Photo was after my daughter already soaked up even more butter with a napkin.)
-Kids pizza is flatbread with sauce and melted cheese. No side order.

Food:
*Cheeseburger was great. Best part of the whole visit tbh.
Side salad contained many pieces of wilted lettuce. Only one choice of dressing apparently - My salad came plain anyhow. Perhaps the brown lettuce was the garnish?

Employees:
Our server was friendly and apologetic. Unfortunately, he didn’t forewarn us of many of the extra charges, and then had challenges correcting and adjusting our bill.
Many essentials were missing at the table and with the food throughout the whole meal.
We were patient and forgiving at first, however there were just far too many mistakes in front and from the kitchen … one after the next, it just killed the whole experience for us.
Manager was kind and understanding. He offered a discount on the bill which was helpful in the moment. But even after we spoke with him mid-meal, there were still a plethora of slip ups and miscommunications right up until payment.

Ordered take out, got ribs that had 0 meat on em, they came cold, I ended up getting food poisoning from it! Stay away from this pathetic place.

Terrible service was not a good experience at at all the food myself and my spouse ordered was terrible and almost walked out before the server finally came back to the table in my opinion if you are in Kitchener don’t waste your money here it’s ran very poorly

Our waitress was rude, it took forever for our food to arrive, the number of sides was incorrect, and they forgot the bring the beer we had ordered for a while. The wings were also mediocre.

The asian waitress who received us was polite and nice, however.

Worst restaurant i ever visited. Customer service was so worse, they don’t even know how to treat the customers. Never wanna visited again!

First off, I understand it was busy, we were patient.
When the food came before we got our drinks, it was okay. She forgot to bring water, so we asked again. To no avail. It never came after two requests. But it was busy, and we were patient. We gave up and asked for the bill. 15-20 minutes laters, now in a rush to try and leave, I hit 15% and tapped my card. She thanks me and I go to leave.
Then I glanced at the bill.
Overcharged by about $30.
Plus I tipped %15 of that extra $30.
Seriously?
At this point, I just stormed out because I didn’t have another half hour to wait around to be acknowledged.
At least the food was decent.

Thanks for nothing.
And never again.

Went there the other day, the plates were dirty. Crusty food left on them, then now I either have tonsillitis or covid, so thanks!

Update: it was tonsillitis. I sent them an e-mail, but they never responded back. After digging deeper, they have received a violation for this sort of ordeal before.

Got the rib and wing combo and I got 4 ribs and 4 wings for $20. I can honestly say the ribs were the worst I've ever had. They were tiny and I'm almost certain they were bought frozen for $5 at a grocery store. I still can't believe it, I wish I could get my money back. Even the picture of my food looks like a joke, or like I already ate half the food (I didn't)

We had a really kind waitress. Always right there when you needed her. Excellent appetizers too! Very welcoming for sure!

Very disappointing. I was seated right away but I guess because I was by myself I wasn't as important as the reservations. I waited 20 mins and finally had to get up and asked for a server just to get a glass of water. If you want the food, order delivery. Besides that, it's not worth the wait.

Went there on Friday night with a local friend of ours, it was the first time we all felt like we were discriminated by the servers at any place, gave us cold food, and did not even bothered to give us cutlery for the food we ordered. Such a bad experience.

Bro this guy I was with totally duped that waitress, money can't buy happiness, but it can buy your way into a restaurant. 3/+ would eat the food again. Sad it wasn't free.

I wish i took pictures of the food, everything was so delicious! Our waiter was so friendly and kind when we were confused about our bill. Can't wait to go back.

I wish I could make no starts,
My mother and I ordered from here for our lazy after unpacking the house dinner. We both got ribs and I got pasta for my lunch for today. My mom has been up since 3 am being violently ill. The ribs were so over cooked that it was hard to get them off the bone.
We usually order from the one in Waterloo and we’re definitely going to do that from now on.

Worst experience ordering from this location this past Saturday.
Ordered through Uber eats, the order showed up over an hour later and it was 100% not even our order. Called the restaurant for replacement order and told it would be 15 min. My husband went to pick up 15 min later and (it’s a 5 min drive away) ended up waiting another half hour at the restaurant.
By the time we finally get to have dinner it’s 10pm and the order was wrong again and the burgers came with no condiments on them.
Extremely frustrating experience.
2 stars because the burger was good. Thank you to the chef.

My wife's chicken Mediterranean salad was excellent. My Cajun shrimp tacos were just so-so. Service was also just so-so.

I was not in the bar.but I was beside the bar listening to the blues festival and it was great good ride there slow ride back

Great service, good food but watch your bill. As advertised was not what we got billed for; "Rib and wing combo" on the menu and online is 15$ but they charge 19.99 on your bill.

Just watch your bill.

Went for lunch with 2 other Co workers to order take out. Expressed how disappointing it is to not get utensils and condiments with your order. She assured us she'd take good care of us. We left her almost $10. Tip and we got nothing so we ate with our hands and a dry burger and no ketchup mustard relish a drink or utensils. Really dissatisfied lunch. We were on a crunch time so I couldn't go back and when I called in the complaint she said oh sorry. Thank you. It's hard to support our local restaurants when things like this happen and she didn't seem to care.

My familia and myself recommend this place. Tasty food and kids eat free every Sunday. We love it. Great service too!

Good food mainly Canadian, big selection of alcoholic drinks, good selection of beer an wines, good staff sports bar with T. V. 's an all around good eating

Nicole is awesome! Great spot while I'm in town at the hotel across the street for a few months

I usually come in on Tuesdays for wings and always had Nicole or kaley as our server and its always amazing
Lately we've been getting Amanda and its made us not what to come back. She's rude and pushy and added a 30$ tip for herself without approval.

Kitchen staff managers bartenders and service are all very polite and nice even to us delivery drivers

Crabby Joe's is really not worth the money for what you get. I've had better burgers at Harvey's, and I don't even like Harvey's. The only thing I reccommend from here is the buffalo quesadilla

Its a nice place to eat

I used to go to the location in Cambridge but they aren't there anymore. Have to drive up to kitchener to get this. The food is good and the deals are awesome. Tuesday special deals and after 9pm deals.with that I would give it 5 stars.

I went there around 915 and the bar was busy so we went to the family side. When we got there it felt like the staff member didn't want us there because she's too busy and can't handle the workload.
I dont mind if the staff doesn't talk to us much and deal with the others but that doesn't mean you don't have to make us feel like you don't want us there.

Place is nice, food is good and service is good. But froze inside. Sat at the benches in bar with family. It was so cold and drafty.

Been there quite a few times food was excellent so is the service atmosphere is easy going aways enjoyable to go in drinking or in to eat lunch, supper.

I remember the old place being so so with the same quality of food. That was a couple of years ago. Just went and love the refresh. Had the crispy prosciutto flat bread and it was pretty amazing. And at 7 for high level drinks that is a really good deal

This restaurant was excellent. Let me start by saying that the downside is that the location is a little difficult to get to. It can easily be missed. It's definitely small, it's operated essentially as a house so it's easy to just drive right past it. We got inside, and it's very quaint, nicely spaced out, definitely warm and cozy.

Service was horrible. Server didn't want to be there. Salad was rotten. Coffee had too much salt in it, yes salt! Burgers tasted rancid. Got drinks wrong.

Not a fan pf aitting around for 10 mons waitong to pay at lunch time. Wont waste my time next time around.

My daughter's and I enjoyed our meal today. I had the Thai chicken salad, chicken wings and kids chicken fingers and fries

My party and I showed up for half price appetizers. When we ordered after 9 pm we were told that a pitcher is not enough for the deal. I never saw in writing where it says we have to purchase minimum drinks. Minimum 4 drinks in a pitcher 3 people in party should be enough. Considering we are all driving I explained to the server that over serving people that state they are driving is very dangerous. I am also sure that the establishment would be responsible for over serving guests or forcing alcohol for cheaper food prices is illegal. I am hoping the LLBO will take notice of this at this location and stop this over serving. The craby Joe's in Cambridge is very good and does not force over serving for half price aps. Also Chucks offers a great menu with half price aps and great steaks. This would be a safer option for people that wish to half one beer and drive home.

Was going to give 3 stars but just was there with my by last night and the waitress was awesome! Very sweet and just felt comfortable. The service was quick and the food came fast!

Not a place to bring the family and kids with during the evening or night hours but maybe during the day. A lot of sketchy people due to being downtown.

Otherwise, I like going here because I like to just be casual and this spot is definitely that!

Food is too salty (i feel salt and pepper should be up to the customer) but atmosphere is great and the servers are always amazing

Great selection of food and the food was great to. Server was awesome and very kind your young son. Food was quick but o ly because we were early and definitely going to eat there again.

I was very disappointed with my order last night. I came in by myself ordered a schooner as well as an order of the nachos with the buffalo chicken as well as the guacamole side sauce order. What I received was nachos that has been left in the oven or toaster or grill whatever you may have, but it was burnt beyond recognition. I asked my server for a box to take what I had home. It took her 25 minutes to bring me a box even after I had paid. I did not eat any of the nachos. I do enjoy visiting this establishment I just feel that I was given the short end of the stick for that evening. I do visit regularly (1xweek), but I have had problems with other employees as well. For example there is a bartender that is male seems to think that hitting on everyone that he serves is okay. This individual a few weeks back refused to serve me because I refused to go home with him the night prior. I understand that when hiring individuals you never really know who they are until they show their full colors however I feel as though you should as a company you be able to weed out those narcissistic negative individuals. At this point I would not recommend crabby Joe's to anyone. I'm extremely disappointed inside that I no longer have this place to go and get a drink after work due to the deranged individual that excessively tried to take me home that one evening. I don't feel safe Nora would I ever bring a friend or family member there again. I'm just extremely disappointed. I really do enjoy the food a crabby Joe's it's just been an ordeal the last month going to getting food from your company.

Probably one of the worst crabby joe's I have visited and I'm from Sarnia where the selection isnt that great. The buffalo chicken on my nachos tasted terrible and was hard, obviously burnt, toppings were scarce - definitely not worth the price you pay. My husbands fish was burnt and crunchy, didnt look appealing at all. My son barely finished his pizza-said it was terrible. Lastly, the garlic bread which is normally decent was ok at best. All this for 70 bucks- such a rip off-avoid this one if you can.

Food was fantastic, our waitress wasn't very attentive, and didn't even say goodbye, or goodnight as we walked right passed her. She was actually very rude.

Best location I've ever seen to! Friendly staff, great food and good prices drinks. Good place to go on a date, visit with friends and even your family. Great atmosphere

I had a lovely dinner date here! We got seated very quickly and our waitress was very attentive to us and got us drinks right away. We got there around 5: 15 and it wasn't very busy at all! We shared some chicken fajitas and fries, which were so good and hot. I was a little disappointed with the dessert options but otherwise my experience was very good:)

As always, one of my favorite places to take my wife. Great for late nights after the kids go to bed!

On Sunday August the 4th, my boyfriend and ih tried to come to crabbys at about 830/9pm to grab a drink and something to eat. We walked in and were told we could seat ourselves on the patio. No menus given to us or anything, just told to go grab a seat. So we did. And then we literally waited for 10 minutes without so much as even being spoken to, before we got up and decided to leave. The worst part of all of this is that the employee who was by the door as we walked out, the same employee who told us that we could seat ourselves, blatantly was checking me out and not even trying to be discreet about it. Like turned away from his customers and stared so hard that I was actually kind of offended. So essentially from what I gather, your staff have time to stare at a woman but not to bring out menus or even speak to a guest.

The only reason I'm giving this 3 stars is because I have been here before with at least mediocre service, but this was just ridiculous.

Although the portions have gone smaller, miss the old Joe's platter the food is good and great service

The server was really nice however there was an issue with the bill, an app wasn't discounted simply because only one drink was purchased. However I purchased a more extensive drink, (a martini) and the apps were my meal, my partner chose another meal.
The excuse we got was that the 'system' wouldn't allow it. I highly doubt it, it was just $6 discount. I won't be going back. We went to try out the new place but left once again disappointed.

Quick service, even though there was only one server for quite a number of people. The food came promptly, and we had 5 people in our group. Would recommend this location again.
