Crafty Ramen

Hands down the worst ramen i have ever had. We were the only customers in the restaurant but the service was poor. I ordered 2 ramen, the both blanched. No taste at all one even have bitterness from burnt garlic taste.
Overall it was a really bad experience.
The only thing i like was the store decoration.

Fresh hand made ramen noodles with elegance. What would you want from any diner? A fresh calm atmosphere, enough place to sit, good service and affordable prices. They check them all. The have an option for frequent customers who would get free gyozo at 10 ramen orders and free ramen at 20 ramen purchases. I have come here when they initially opened up and i had the spicy chicken tantanmen which is simply delicious. The soup with the ramen tastes exactly like my mom s chicken stew, so it took me back to when i was younger and my mom used to make her chicken every Sunday. Simply delicious. Meat lovers ramen is also good in terms of variety of meat and the presentation, i went for the non spicy so it felt tangy so next time i would prefer spicy. Gyoza is sweet but its good when warm. The icy pop felt like real blueberry crushed up and made it into a ice pop (i liked it). The place is just a vibe with anime pictures on the wall with the setting that would make you say, ’ Hey, that was crafty’.

Some of the best ramen I’ve had in the city. Service is always attentive and friendly. Inviting spot with a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere

We've tried a lot of ramen spots in Toronto and this has to be one of the best for both meat and veggie options. Their appetizers (gyoza and fries especially) are amazing. We usually get the vegan/vegetarian ramen and they are AMAZING. I like their system of ordering first at the front and then going to sit. The atmosphere and decor is super nice. We got our order within 5 minutes of sitting down. Highly recommend this place!

Finally went to Crafty Ramen on Ossington Been following the company for a bit and was excited to try. My wife, son and I dropped in for a quiet and quick bite. Right away it was great to see kid options. Our boys like Ramen but mostly the noodles and broth. I had the spicy chicken tantanmen. Perfect for a cold night. I even pulled it off without a fork. The atmosphere was very casual with an open kitchen. Probably 10 tables. But it was busy which is nice to see for a local business. Food came quick. We forgot to check out the kits but will do that next time. If you like Ramen, great spot on Ossington, which is always nice outing on a Saturday night.

Just because I gave 3 stars that doesn’t mean its bad, love the ambience and how they have shown the pictures of ramen options at the entrance and everything!

The fried chicken, not our favourite to be honest
I got myself “The Seeker” i liked it alright
My friend tried the “Dragons Breath” he liked it alright but said it had a stronger flavour of pickles i don’t know what tho

Things I liked,
The marinated egg (loved it)
Hot sauce (the one in the picture)

Things I didnt like so much
The charshu pork feels like a normal slice of pork though its big
Have to pay extra for the egg
Broth is not that creamy
Leaks on the side of my bowl

Overall even with everything I mentioned, id go over and over again

The ramen bowls are always so delicious and dense with flavour. The food service is exceptionally quick and the environment is warm, inviting and perfect for cold days. One of our new favourite spots!

Where do I start…

The positives, everyone in this restaurant is amazing, super kind and helpful. They let me bring my dog in, which was beyond kind, and they even provided her with some chicken and water. This is why they are undoubtedly a 5 star for service.

The bad, the food… I honestly feel so bad giving this negative review because they are so kind here, but this ramen is perhaps the worst ramen I’ve had in recent memory (that tried to be ramen) We got the Griffen. The broth was muted and non flavourful, the noodles were like well cooked pasta noodles, the pork was non-flavourful and bland. It didn’t have any redeemable qualities and we didn’t even finish our food…

The people here are wonderful, but the food we tried was seriously not good. Perhaps they have other better things, but what we had was bad, and while I’m sure my dog would want to come back for the chicken, I will not be.

This was a great dining experience, the service was very nice, we tried the fries, Brussels sprouts and the vegan gyoza all amazing! The gyoza were so flavor. The map tofu ramen was incrediBle also liked the ramen with dried Tomatoes which is an unusual flavor and the pickled mushrooms. Definitely worth a visit! A very reasonably priced restaurant. We wanted to try the popsicles but were too full at this point!

Finally found a chance to try this place out! Great service and food - the Korean fried chicken is a must try! Staff is very friendly and gave excellent recommendations. Definitely coming back!

Quick and good! You order at the front and then grab a seat and they bring your ramen over to you. Tried the smoked one and it was tasty!

Came here for lunch with some friends, it was chilly outside, and I was craving for some steaming hot ramen with rich broth and some kick. I ordered the Gryphon for myself, pining for the promise of rich and spicy ramen, as well as some Korean fried chicken for the group.

The ramen, unfortunately, fell short of my expectation. It was warm, but the broth was not as rich or spicy as advertised in the menu. The noodles were cooked perfectly, though the bland broth did not do them justice. The others on my table ordered Big City Smoke, but reported the same blandness on their broth. The Korean fried chicken was great, though! Tender and flavourful, it was the sole highlight of the meal.

Credit where it's due, our server was very attentive during our visit and made sure that our water was constantly filled. The restaurant walls are also filled with fun graffiti and references to various animes, making it a feast to the eyes.

Amazing place to come for hearty delicious ramen. Would definitely come back. Very nice and fast service and friendly staff. Food was great, portions were generous, many options to choose from.

Delicious ramen! We’ve ordered multiple take out orders but finally dined in. Extremely worth it! The service was great and the bar seating is nice and cozy. Highly recommend!

Tasty ramen, but priced by North American standards. $20 for a bowl of ramen would be unheard of in Japan. It's worth your time to check it out at least once.

Well decorated and nice service but ramen was a bit too salty. The portion was also smaller than expected.

Excellent ramen. Noodles, broth, and meat are on point. Smoked mushrooms in the Big City Smoke are amazing!
