Classic Poutine was good but the cheeseburger I got was dry, hard and did not taste good at all, I only took one bite and had to spit it out, the patty was a mess to eat, not properly built, they put sauce on top and bottom making the burger hard to hold becsuse it was a slippery mess, sorry but I will not be going back for burgers anytime soon, maybe stivk to poutines
Tried the kryptonite for the first time yesterday. Dessert for lunch from now on. I don't know who came up with this, but it's the best damn thing I've ever put in my mouth. I'm still talking about it, probably get another one today. Well done.
George is an amazing down to earth guy. Always has a welcoming smile. Enjoy all of the creative poutines! Keep up the great work and always Fantastic service.
Craves Poutinerie is ABSOLUTELY amazing! It it my #1 go to when when I come down to Chatham for the day. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Keep up the amazing work
I'm a keep it basic kind of guy. I like my poutine Quebec style, and my cheeseburger with mustard and relish. So I will not be commenting on Craves Poutine because I will likely never have one from there. But I will comment on the cheeseburger I had there. When my wife told me that they made fresh burgers there I figured I would give em a try. The girl taking our order was very nice and did her job well, the 5 are for her and the other workers because our order was ready very quickly. Here lies the issue, burgers need more time to cook, mine was in the realm of being underdone. Although it also had a spice that I'm not sure should be in a burger. I'm not sure what it was and I will not be having another to try and find out, but my daughter who has become a burger officianado recently said the same thing. If you enjoy putting weird things on your poutine then you probably enjoy this place, but I will not recommend the burgers.
Best poutine on the west side of Ontario. I've had poutine in Montreal dozens of times, and this is the closest you're gonna get at VERY reasonable prices. We go here a lot more regularly, it's worth it. Try the sour lemon chicken!
The food was extremely disappointing. The fries were soggy and cold (gravy was almost hot) and the burger was really dry and tasted like old oil.like it was precooked and just warmed up enough to melt the cheese.
I heard good things about Craves so I wanted to try them out. They have a good selection of different poutines. I got the Philly cheesesteak and my lunch date got the Buffalo Chicken. It's a good amount of poutine for the price. The cooking of the fries was a bit inconsistent, my fries were soft but my date's were really crunchy. The Buffalo Chicken was really tasty but the Philly lacked flavour. It needed more cheese or a bolder flavoured cheese sauce. It was good just kind of bland. The staff were friendly and ready to help with any questions. I went to use the restroom and it was pretty dirty. The cartoon characters on the wall are pretty cool but the blood splatter all over the wall from someone shooting up was kind of a turn off. I will go back again to try a different flavour of poutine when I'm in town again to see if there's a better flavour out there for me.
EDIT: Due to the rude response from the owner I will not be returning to give them another try and I'm dropping my rating. I recommend you just go somewhere else theres plenty of other places for poutine that are just as good if not better.
