Creative Concepts In Hair Design

So happy that Creative Concepts in open again, great to go back to a place that never disappoints. Creative concepts has been my go to place for years and every experience has been exceptional. I always get compliments on the style and colour of my hair (and I'm very picky). All the safety protocols put in place by the salon made me feel comfortable, safe and at ease. Highly recommended!

I would avoid this place as they are no professional and they do not listen to there clients and do what they want. If you go here, you better be ready for what they want

My son and I came back to see Joe on July 4 for a looonnggg overdue cut (thank you COVID). We're longtime regular customers of Joe's, me even longer (20+ years). I've gotten basically the same cut from Joe every time I go, he always listens carefully to how I want it done, and does his best to create an excellent customer experience. Joe professionally runs a clean, comfortable salon, with great service and reasonable prices. Highly recommend Creative Concepts!

Got my haircut and hair color here for a new look and love it. Thanks a lot to Dominique. She is excellent and knows the haircut and color that fits to your face shape and tone color. The receptionist was accommodating. Keep it up.

Men beware. This shop seems to have its strength in Womens hairstyling, but I don’t think they do much barbering. I went here on New Year’s Eve in a pinch and came out looking sloppy. Best to avoid this place guys.

My go to hair stylist at this salon is Alexia. She always knows what she is doing and makes my hair look phenomenal. She is the only person i trust with my hair and will continue going to her. Alexia is soo good at balayage and colour highlights. The staff at this location are very friendly and professional. 10/10

Worst experience and worst haircut ever.
She didn't understand how i wanted my haircut and ended up cutting fringes, really short fringes which i never asked for. I really don't understand my overall haircut, its just a mess.
Horrible experience. Never going back to this place.

5 years ago I went in looking for a drastic change. I had long brown hair & left with short blonde hair. Absolutely LOVED it & have been a loyal customer to Alexia ever since. I bring my whole family to Creative Concepts, the staff offer great professional services that are affordable, they are friendly, welcoming & fun! I will never go elsewhere!

Really great salon! The staff are very caring of all their clients, regardless of age or income. The prices are very fair and the quality of colour and cuts here are really excellent!
The staff work well together and you never have to wait for service.
The aesthetic services are well done and well priced too!

Been going here for about 6 years. Emma is amazing! She listens to what I want. I wear my hair long and layered. Emma is great texturizing layers. She has a great personality and I'm getting the same quality cut that I got when I went to my last salon on Yorkville for a fraction of the price. She's there Tuesdays wednesdays and Thursdays so book in advance.

The shop was closing but the hairdresser let me in and took a lot of care in cutting my hair the way it should be cut. Very pleased.

I went to one of the babers (an Iranian lady) and she literally butchered my hair. It was my first and will definitely be my last time at this salon. She didn't listen to a thing I said. I mentioned I wanted a deep 'U' with layers and I normally part my bangs to the left. At which she responded, the way I cut, you can part your hair to the left, right or centre. So she clearly had her own way.she didnt care about what I had just said. She gave me fringes that were way too thick and short and thinned out my hair completely. I agreed to making it thick but I didn't know half my head would be full of bangs. I normally have very thick, wavy hair and right now, I feel like I have nothing left on my head. That too I last year donated my hair. I could have done that instead of getting it chopped and destroyed. People should not experiment on hair! She gave me a mullet. Come on, we're living in the 21st century and I'm in my 20s. Please listen to people's desires and treat your clients hair like you do yours. Her hair was literally gorgeous and on point. I have to say 0 stars! Literally garbage! Please do go if you want to be ready for Halloween. I don't know how the other barbers are but I'm never going back!

My mother came in here about 2 weeks ago and got her hair done by Azar. I noticed whenever she went out or someone came over, they would compliment her hair and asked who did it. So a few days ago I decided to come without an appointment. I asked for Azar and wanted a haircut with styling. Everything went perfect and she did exactly what I wanted. I will definitely return here next time I need a haircut, and she will be recommended to my family and friends.

The owner is awesome! Kind, caring and humble with his clients. He takes great ownership in his salon and everyone there is pleasant.

I had been to creative concepts for Hair treatment, your guy there is Joe- he spends time with the client to understand about their hair and how you like it and recommends appropriate treatment thats most suitable based on your hair type. I asked for smoothing, but after understanding what I am looking for- he explained to me that I may not be very happy after smoothing treatment- he said just do a regular conditioning and I should be good to go. He also recommended me a product & provided me with a sample.
