You couldn't ask for a better hospital, oncology, imaging dept, best ever, yes there are wait times but we as Canadians are so lucky, give the staff a break and a big shout out to Dr Uddin
13 November 2023 12:23
Patient should not wait more than half an hour, because of sickness it's so annoying to wait for turn and uncomfortable. I think they should increase number of staff and doctors for faster service in order to release patients at earliest. As well as emergency staff rude. Hope they consider the point and improve services.

It's coming in to Emergency in excruciating pain and watching the check in yt nurse line everyone up to be triage.while she pushes a yt woman passed the triage line str8 to registration. I'm so disgusted.
11 September 2023 4:45
Some of the nurses here were amazing and helpful whereas some were not. Some need to keep their attitude to themself and not pretend to be superior than others. They need a constant reminder that they are still a corporate slave.
17 August 2023 23:58
Extremely rude staff including nurses in Care Center.you need to wait for 30 mins just to drop your chart and Care Center. Nurses at emergency are anything but empathetic. As adults we understand everything cannot be handled super fast but the behavior calms a patient down. The authorities need to understand that people don't visit ERjust like that to spend time.they visit when they are in pain. I have lost all good vibes I had about this institution
15 August 2023 22:42
Packed with rude Filipino nurses (fely) and obstetrician dr mykan or something like that total insensitive woman wish her kids need care in foreign hospital
06 August 2023 10:06
When I went to this hospital for my little sister's birth, I found out how calm this place is. I don't know about the emergency room but the labor rooms are nice and calm. My mom was treated very kindly and given many snacks. While I was at the hospital, a nurse looking after my mom made sure I literally felt like I was at home. I would recommend this place to have your child in. But I can't say much about other parts of this hospital.
01 August 2023 5:37
Terrible hospital. Rude receptionist, did not help me with any of the pains I was experiencing. Told me I have to wait 5 hours to see a doctor when I was in severe stomach pain. Went there twice and both times went home due to wait times and no one helping me. Do not go to this hospital
28 July 2023 15:13
Rude staff and purposely sent us to the wrong area and almost made us late for my daughter's appointment.
28 July 2023 13:16
The process was very efficient when we went and the staff was great! Without getting into too many details, a diagnosis for chest pain, blood work and a resolution was completed in 3hrs.

One of the biggest hospitals in Mississauga with good facilities. Wait time however is getting longer & the staff at times don’t bothers you. Also, I think this place also needs more cleaning on regular basis. There are parking in front of the place that’s pretty expensive.
27 September 2022 5:06
They have a very good team specially in MRI department, all the time the area clean and organize, all the appointments booked in advance and all the time called you on time, they are taken care about each patient and they are very nice crew “ specially the night shift team “
In general the hospital very clean and after they done the renovation, now more organized.
The have very unique gift shop and they have many souvenirs and many items for new born baby was hand made, i support this gift shop because all the money goes to help and support the hospital.
All the workers in the gift shops they are volunteers adding for that, they are very very nice people ever in the world

Had a minor operation done.
Staff were very professional and made my visit alot easier.
Thank you to Victor, Danita and Pacy.
22 September 2022 10:01
Facilities and staff are great but doctors are literally negligent. If you have a complicated case don’t go here… better to go to Oakville or Any Toronto hospital. I will update this review again to share 3 different experiences where doctors misdiagnosed my family members and literally told them to go home and die. I wish govt spent more on keeping our good doctors here in Canada. You will be lucky if you end up with a good doctor at credit valley hospital.
21 September 2022 6:21
Visited the emergency section. The nurses were polite and as per the level of emergency I was tied the pink band. It took me 7 hours to see the doc and the surgery took place the same day.
18 September 2022 17:08
At 2: 50 a.m, me and my husband rushed to the emergency because our 10 months old baby is having a high fever, its already 10: 22 a.m. And still no doctor for us.its been more than 7hrs wait.
17 September 2022 6:53
Maternity ward of this hospital is a joke. There is only 01 doctor there for all the patients so in order to see a doctor you have to wait for hours because that 01 available doctor is doing all the deliveries during his shift and checking all the patients.
For a check up you have to pretty much spend all day here which means you have to take entire day off, no value for other peoples time at all.
10 September 2022 3:23
I was surprised with my visit to the ER today! Super efficient and quick in all areas. With our growing population you def should not be expecting no crowd but it’s how efficiently this is handled and I was so so impressed by my experience today. They have a new area called RAZ which is rapid assessment zone.
From the doctor to the nurses they were super efficient and heard you when you asked for anything.
From blood works to other lab work to a CTC scan and consultation twice with a doc including IV took me today 5 hrs!

My hats off to the great team at RAZ.
Only wish registration was a little quicker
09 September 2022 15:18
Very very bad experience at check in counter. I was there on July 1 with my 3 years LO, cuz she has enlarge lymph nodes and swollen neck. All the nurses and doctors were super nice at night, Me and my husband were able to switch several times during the night. Because our poor baby went through blood work and IV. But things have turn upside down since the day shift check in administer was there on July 2. I was not allowed to go into the unit to drop off the car key to my husband, and say bye to my 3 years old, because the check in girl kept yelling at me that 1 parent policy during covid, and as parents we are only allowed switch once!

Seriously? What is the point of this 1 parent policy if your night shift staffs allow the parents to switch multiple times? To reduce the expose of COVID? Our kid is in discomfort, that's why we are here. Talking to us without manor and yelling are not acceptable! Don't be a health care care worker if you don't have the heart for it! And excuse me, credit valley hospital implements stricter rules compared to Toronto sick kids hospital that allows 2 parents to be in the ER.
04 September 2022 23:49
Try to call them before 5pm if your asking for any questions or any follow ups or you will most likely have to talk to this one rude employee. She refuses to give her name and will speak to you very disrespectfully. Always ask who your speaking with when over the telephone whether it’s for the hospital or not.

90% of the time you will be spoken to much more politely.
30 August 2022 7:31
I was supposed to have surgery on August 8th with Dr. Hosein but ended up having a severe allergic reaction to a drug and the team at the hospital was beyond professional and essentially they saved my life. I will forever be grateful for the care I received at Credit Valley Hospital and the team in the ICU.
28 August 2022 7:57
95% if the black nurses are terrible and lack any empathy emotion and care. They treat you like you’re not human and have robotic monotone voices. You’re just a nuisance to them. If the nurse has long dreads, AVOID. The short hair ones are much better.
28 August 2022 0:06
Very disappointed with the doctor that was handling my dad this week with he's cancer had no compassion at all and made my family not feel good at all even asking questions was very rude my father has been threw a lot and he doesn't need that treatment people have warned me serial times.about this hospital and how some of the nurses and doctors are this doctor by the name of price was not professional and if he was having a bad day there is no reason to take it out on patients patient s are there because they are sick and need support not getting treated wrong gly
27 August 2022 5:03
1- Inhuman treatment for patients and patient’s family members.
2- Communist non science based regulations.

I came here for an emergency issue involving excruciating pain. Their emergency checkin system was reasonably efficient. Nearly every single staff member I dealt with here was very friendly and helpful. I fainted while getting my blood taken and the sweet man (nurse? Phlebotomist?) was so kind and helpful, as was the other nurse who rushed over to help. The three different doctors I dealt with were all wonderful—friendly and informative. Particularly the gynecologist Dr. Sandeep Sandhu. I have never met a doctor so informative, willing to answer questions, and genuinely compassionate. He gets 5/5 stars.

The hospital was clean and in good shape, and had private rooms you can wait in after being let in from emergency.

Where this hospital loses marks/stars is due to the time spent waiting. I waited for 3 hours for a doctor to come talk to me about my pain, and then he told me that it was too late to get an ultrasound at that time of night. So I had to come back the next day for my ultrasound (what a giant waste of time). It was quite a scary night due to my pain and not knowing what it meant. I dont believe a hospital’s ultrasound department should close for the night!

The next day I had about 1.5 hours of waiting after ultrasound before I was told that I might need surgery so I couldn’t have any water or food from then on. Then I spent 3 hours waiting. The recliner chair was comfortable and the nurse who (eventually) hooked me up to fluids was super friendly and sweet; however, she then disappeared and there was no one available to help me get up to go to the washroom, etc.

I get the impression that this hospital is massively understaffed. Most of the people working there are doing their best, and they seem to be good at their jobs. But at times I desperately needed help and I didnt have it. I hope they are able to hire more much-needed staff soon.

TL;DR: great staff (for the most part), wonderful doctors, but long wait times and you may be left on your own without help for a long time.

Putting Patients First
Sir Isaac Newton inventing something that pet owners use all the time: the cat
door.
This great genius had cut another hole in his door for the kittens, not realizing that they could simply follow their mother through the larger hole.
However he did not appoint a Dog to enforce his novel thought.
Credit Valley Hospitals Administrator has earmarked a door for exclusive use of the Hospital Staff an appointed a Security Officer to execute his/her noble thought.
Patients using a Cane, Walker or Rollators are just not allowed to use it and was directed to take a very long detour to exit the Hospital premiss.
After 5 hours of stress test, I 80 years old Handicapped, had to obey the frivolous orders.

Anyone who complains about emerg, nurses and doctors at Credit valley are not to be taken seriously. With the amount of people whom go to credit valley wether it be emerg for the day or get admitted are all treated well. Everyone is cared for as best as the staff can. The nurses work there self silly as well as the doctors. I LIVED in credit valley hospital unit 1B for 7 MONTHS. Every nurse and staff member were absolutely amazing. The amount of things nurses have to do with EACH patient is HARD. They treated me back to health and healed me each and every day. Dr. Hayworth and Dr. You are the best internal medicine Doctors. Every single nurse in 1B (except 2 Carol and Cynthia) and I mean it, are smart, caring and do everything they can every day. I thank god for that nursing team. I thank god for my doctors. Credit valley is a Great hospital. 7 months is almost unheard of, but it was necessary. I am not a old “Karen”, I am 30. Young women whom serves and deals with people everyday. Coming from a young, bright and moderately famous tiktoker @viccoos. I promise you that credit valley is named one of the best emerg and long term hospitals in ONTARIO for a reason. If you complain, you are a mindless fool. Clearly you do not understand how many tasks and things happen in every single department. They WILL put you through every single NECESSARY test. If you don’t get it, it’s because you don’t need it. If you cannot wait in the emerg because the wait is “to long”, it’s not a emergency. Plain and simple. If you don’t get the drugs you want it is not necessary. Every single sick soul that goes into that hospital to get treated is treated well and back to health as much as possible. I was in emerg for almost 24 hours, I slept in a emerg room until I got admitted. I waited because it was an emergency. I got treated as fast as they could. I saw a doctor within 2 hours but because I NEEDED it. If you are not dying or if you can LIVE for another few hours, just remember you are waiting because someone is much sicker then you and needs to be treated immediately. Your wait is saving other people’s lives. You can wait. Thank you Credit valley for taking care of me and every other person in that hospital. I lived with many other patients, I saw people leave in black bags and I saw people leave on their two feet. How ever they left, they were loved and cared for equally. #creditvalleyhospital #unit #care - Victoria Gualtieri.

19 August 2022 16:14
Long waits. My mom had a very high blood pressure and she needed emergency services but they made us wait for two hours. They don’t care about families or lives.
19 August 2022 11:00
Arrive with a sick toddler only to wait 6 hours and still not be seen by a doctor. My family and I will go to a different hospital next time we need medical care.
17 August 2022 7:44
If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would. I want thank to Dr. J. Shin in endoscopy and her team. Dr. Shin combines expertise and a willingness to listen and discuss. Her staff is so friendly and professional as well. I thank everyone again.
15 August 2022 6:00
I have been to many hospitals but this emergency department must be the worst. I brought my husband because his blood pressure was dangerous high and swollen feet. It’s been 8 hours snd he has not been seen by a doctor
10 August 2022 10:21
Dr Ziegras and her team simply awesome. Had day surgery and the porter wheeled me down and left me there outside in the cold unattended and area of surgery I could not close my legs! What a sight! 63 old female! Legs wide open unattended!
08 August 2022 17:13
6hours later in emergency with busted ankle for the kid and ended up being told another 3hours. Not the staff fault but something's wrong here? Not quite emergency anymore!
04 August 2022 8:46
I was confirmed at visitor check-in booth that I can get in to ask for a copy of my blood and ECG tests from their record office, which I did before. Five days later, judging my results should be available at record office now, I went back. However I was denied entrance by a different staff. They did not handle their policy in consistence.
The day after coming back from hospital and doing a shower, I was surprised that all that sticky pads from ECG are still on my body.
Patients have been transferred to too many different areas to WAIT and WAIT. Can these procedures be shorten?
Staffs appear less proactive and responsive to patients' need. I used to have a good impression of this hospital, but not anymore.

A good hospital in Mississauga. Lots of areas that have been renovated. Much newer than other Trillium hospitals, like Queensway and Mississauga hospital locations. The emergency room is like any other though, so be prepared to wait. They have recently changed visitor policies. So check their website and instagram account for latest rules before visiting. They have a great Labour & Delivery Unit. My nephews and niece were all born there. They also have a regional cancer centres here. The service there is very good: from nurses, oncologists, pharmacists, surgeons and radiologists. Many people travel far to come here. Parking is expensive though. Recommend getting a ride, if possible.

I recently delivered at Credit Valley hospital and was very impressed and happy with my experience. The doctors and nurses are extremely patient and skilled. They take care of all due diligence and made me very comfortable through challenges of breast feeding. My nurse in birthing suite was Chitra Patil- she’s is excellent! Very polite, makes you very comfortable and is always keen to help and answer your questions.
24 July 2022 23:21
The most garbage health car of all time. If you even feel to having a heart attack do not go there. The ER is like slaughterhouse. Complete shortage of staff. No one knows what he/she is doing.went to er waited 10 hours with chest and shoulders pain and arithmyia that could have developed into an heart attack. Pvcs were present in an abnormal way. No body even listened to me. The most horrible part is the discomfort you feel alone you feel that you have to diy alone because no one care. A First world country hospital like this unbelievable. I felt i am in ww2 medical tent like the movies.so sad so sad.
19 July 2022 0:30
Worst experience in the emergency department. Nurses are extremely unprofessional, uncompassionate and condescending.

Diagnosed my 15 months old with a possible diagnosis of kidney failure and we’re still waiting to be seen by the doctor or to perform any blood work…it has been 2.5 hours.

Waiting for the doctor, let’s see how this experience goes…
30 June 2022 13:27
Waiting in the emergency room for 4 hour with 5 uear son got high fever. I so disappointed with this hospital and recommended at all. Also not talking patients in the order. Very poor service, no service minded or no professionalism at all. Poor quality workers. Don't know what to do.

I'm writing this review on behalf of my brave, beautiful mom who passed away on September 11th while battling stage 4 Ovarian Cancer. I hope it can inspire anyone seeking Cancer support to please follow your instincts when you get the feeling your care is not being taken seriously. It can make a difference for your quality of support and length of life.

My mom was only 63 years old, she wanted to live, she told me just 2 weeks ago she would never give up hope, but this hospital didn't consider that will to fight. We felt like they wrote her off as hopeless and made sure we felt that throughout her so called care. My mom deserved better care, and we deserved better compassion and understanding. I would never recommend this cold, unsympathetic and hopeless hospital for anyone's care.
31 October 2021 13:41
Been here many times, also volunteered here in the past. Love the hospital, the only thing is when I was pregnant few of the doctors tried to push inducing early. Which I didn’t do and wouldn’t suggest you do either. Things should happen naturally, sometimes they want to induce early so they get you out of office early and can take in the next patient on the list. Other than that I loved my experience every time, it’s a hospital, things aren’t always gonna go smoothly - be understanding that we get free healthcare and it is what it is.
13 October 2021 20:36
All i can do was cry the doctor there did nothing walked in saw my history of having tonsilitis for 6 weeks and said go to your family doctor after making me wait 6 hours. She didnt even want to test me for covid or any virus indicators. Makes me not want to pay my taxes no one in the hospital wanted to work. Trust me i would pay 10 000 dollars up front to fix this. Might have to make my way down south.
12 October 2021 12:06
The waiting times here are AWFULLY LONG, a true testament to the quality of Canadian healthcare. You will wait for SIX HOURS to see a physician (if you're lucky) in the emergency room, and they will spend 3 minutes with you, ask a couple of pointless questions and tell you to take Advil. It's ridiculous how BAD the service is on this hospital. They don't even assign a doctor to you in the first 4h after triage, and even infants are treated with little to no concern by nurses and staff.
27 September 2021 17:15
Terrible experience, it took approximately SEVEN HOURS for the doctor to reach me in an EMERGENCY was wondering what would have happened in regular situation. Worse services ever seen even worse than third world countries. Are we living in so called first world country especially in medical field. Definitely needs care to be taken very seriously.
07 September 2021 4:38
I had such a terrible experience when I went to the ER for a eye abrasion, I was checked in a timely fashion but I had to wait 6 hours to see a doctor. Since no one would tell me why I had to wait over 5 hours to see the doctor, I actually left before the doctor showed up.
