Worst clinic ever, worst doctors and nurses and the receptionist. They will treat you like shit, have no empathy for pregnant women.

I have had a wonderful experience at this clinic. All of my appointments were at 8: 30 a.m. And earlier so I never had a problem with wait times. Everyone was great. The receptionist was great and super friendly. Same with the nurses and doctors. I did have a different OB every visit, but each one was wonderful. It does suck that you have to pay for parking, however, it is so close to the hospital so I understand.

I have been trying to call these guys for 3 days straight but NO ONE PICKS UP THE PHONE.it's clear they don't care about patients

My first pregnancy, I had no problems whatsoever. Dr. Mark was my OBGYN I seen most often and she actually was the one that delivered my baby when I gave birth at Credit Valley. She was amazing and very professional at her job.

Now with my second pregnancy, this is is the worst experience I’ve ever had in my life. The office manager brunette Linda is the most unprofessional person I’ve ever met in my life. I had no choice but to bring my 9 month old in her stroller because I have no one to watch her. This was my 1st appt for my 2nd pregnancy and I was told I could not be seen. She went on about how there’s a pandemic and no one is allowed except for the patients. Alright, understandable. If you’re an adult like a husband or bf, then ok, wait outside. But for an infant in a stroller? You can bring children with you at a hospital or doctors office, which is a professional medical practice, but not at an OBGYN which is for women that are pregnant? I told her I have no one to watch her and I’m already 30 weeks and my family dr wants me to get a fetal assessment ASAP due my low placenta with this pregnancy. I told her I would keep the stroller covered til my appt was done, but Linda the office manager told me it doesn’t matter if you’re 37 weeks, if you have your baby with you, you will be refused care and will not be seen by a OBGYN at all. So if I have no one to watch my baby, which I don’t since everyone I know works during the hours of operation at this clinic and I’m a single mother, especially not trusting anyone to watch my child since she’s a baby, so she said I will not be able to ever be seen at all for the Health and progress of my baby during my pregnancy.

Thank god when I called my family Dr she told me to come in right away and was furious how I was treated and that regardless of a pandemic, if you have your child due to no child care to watch. This is the most ridiculous rule I’ve ever heard. My father is a nurse at sunny brook hospital, so of course I know the procedures that there’s a god damn pandemic. Regardless, an infant can’t even get vaccinated smh. I’m so furious, I think I might have proceed with taking this to the media. LINDA THE RUDE OFFICE MANAGER, should be fired for how she talks to people that come into that practice. I honestly don’t know how she still has a job. Never I’m my life, especially with being pregnant, been treated with the most disrespect in my life.

Pros: Doctors and receptionist were polite and my appts were on time. The office ran efficiently.
Cons: My referral from my gp had to be followed up on. I wasn't informed about the Tdapp vaccine until close to my delivery date in which case it was too late to get anyway. I wasn't informed about low iron until 3 weeks after my blood was taken. Very hard to get through on the phone.

DR. WADE Her self is lovely, patient & kind. A great doctor that answered all my questions with respect and knowledge. The receptionist on the other hand is the worst I've ever encountered! She lies and says she called you to move appointments when she obviously didn't.very unprofessional, rude, not cooperative, looks angry and bitter always. Not too mention, She NEVER answers the phone nor does she call the patients back. DR. WADE please hire someone more understanding, compassionate and efficient especially during this pandemic people need kindness and RESPECT!

The wait times are pretty ridiculous! My appt at 11: 20am by the time you are seen.it will be closer to 1pm.always delayed appts. Not once did i go in for the appt i was booked for on time. Ill be switching over to a different clinic.

After three pregnancies, I've learned this place is only good for appointments first thing in the morning or lunch hour. You can get in and out quick (won't even need to pay for the parking) other then those times you'll be waiting at the very least 1 hour. Now for the reason I give this place a 2 star is strictly to do with one European receptionist (the one that doesn't even make eye contact with you, and treats you like a factory farmed pregnant cow). She will speak to you rudely, rush you and not care about anything you need or say. Don't know how she gets away with her position being so unprofessional. She needs a meeting with her boss to go over her professional practice! The other receptionist (she is the West Indian one.and is super nice!) If she was the only one at reception my review would be very different. Other than that, the doctors are superb and delivered my babies in good health. I am thankful for that and it's the only reason I put up with that one receptionist.

I had both of my kids (1988 and 1990) using these doctors. I've just read the other reviews and this practice is run EXACTLY like it was 30 years ago. Doctors don't care, staff doesn't care, they keep you waiting for hours and hours. They probably do a good job at getting your baby out alive since they're still here after 30 years, but don't expect any caring or compassion. And it won't make any difference if you complain to them about how you're being treated. They have been doing it exactly the same for 30 years so they're not about to change now. They'll get your baby out alive, and in the end, that's all that matters.

Not good at all. They definitely to make some improvements regarding waiting time and service. I've waited 2 hours most of the time, to see the doctor. And the receptionist is extremely rude and unprofessional. Horrible experience for a pregnant woman

First and foremost I chose Credit Valley because I heard a lot of good things about specific OB's. I would have to say that all of the OB's are actually really good, except one who is absolutely horrifying. His name is Dr. Gurland. His bedside manners are terrible, he has zero emotions. And he will make you feel like your doing a horrible job at being pregnant. The only days I noticed that are extremely behind in schedule are when he is on shift. Other than that, it hasn't been as long as a wait as it is when he is there. The front receptionist is also very passive aggressive and seems like she hates her job. Now I would like to give 5 stars to the nurses. They are absolutely wonderful to be around. They are very kind and they are the ones who make your experience worth it. If you ever get Dr. Myckan, you are in good hands. She is such a beautiful soul, and you can tell that she is very passionate about her work. Seeing her was a breath of fresh air, and she is so nice. She is actually the reason why I chose to go with Credit Valley, so I really hope she will be delivering my baby. There is also Dr. Corbey who is very nice as well, very similar to Dr. Myckan. If they were the ones who are there all the time, things would run so much smoother and patients will be so much happier! Good luck ladies!

Waiting time can be a horror the first few appointments you attend. My doc was Gurland and I was comfortable asking questions as compared to others there. Very busy and hard to get a hold of a nurse when calling

I delivered my first baby on October 6. I had Doctor Tigert followed by Doctor Mark. My experience was absolutely amazing. Between the two nurses and these two outstanding doctors, my experience was fantastic. These two doctors and the nurses who helped throughout my pregnancy are the reason why id go back.

Don't expect lovey dovey service and be treated like a Queen. Everyone there is pregnant, has a gyno appointment, having health problems or not. You're not special. I doubt there is anywhere you will get your hand held anymore.suck it up or go somewhere else.
They are professional, they are not always on time because people come late etc or maybe someone is in the room having an issue. There are some obs that are A LOT nicer than others, and some that are more or less concerned about certain problems.
I've had two babies with them and had different experiences. It just is what it is. They have two important jobs, keep you and baby healthy.

Worst clinic ever.more like a walk In. My thyroid was high during pregnancy and instead of giving me
Prescription they told me to go to my family doctor to manage low thyroid during pregnancy. Delayed my ultra sounds by weeKs cause someone didn’t fill up paper work properly. By the time I got ultrasound I was in high risk pregnancy. Doctor never have enough time to listen to u or ur concerns.

Waited close to 2 hours to be called in and had to deal with a very rude receptionist she was not friendly. Did not ask for a healthcard just stuck out her hand and rolled her eyes im surprised they would hire such an incompetent person to be at the main desk. Aside from those 2 negative experiences. The doctor and nurse were very friendly and made the rest of the appt a positive one.

No one answers the phone! Its frustrating. And if they even manage to return your call they completely ignore what you asked for in the initial vm and then obviously no answer when you call back.
24 March 2019 12:15
Takes 1 month to get a appointment with my Dr and when the date finally comes it is cancelled and a week later still no reschedule of my cancelled apt! I'm having health issues that needs to be dealt with by a gyno. The response I get when I call and ask is " I don't know when your apt will be".
22 March 2019 21:41
You wait for over an hour only to have a doctor rush you and literally spend less than 2 minutes with you. They get annoyed when you ask questions, as a first time Mom this was extremely upsetting and stressful. Will use a midwife next time
20 March 2019 15:28
*DO NOT USE THIS PLACE*!
You will spend between an hour and a half to 2 hours waiting to be seen by a doctor who will talk to you literally for 3 minutes. You will never see the same doctor twice and you will be made to feel like you are wasting their time if you ask questions. You are just a number. I am so annoyed I didnt choose a smaller clinic. Well you've been warned, if you want to waste your money paying for parking for 2 hours each time and spending half your day sitting in a waiting room only to be rushed by the doctor.then sure, go ahead. *
I wish 0 stars were an option

Avoid this hospital at all cost! The OB TEAM will pass you around like a chunk of meat and if you’re really down on your luck you get DR PUL GURLAND who hates his job and will take it out on you! Do not deliver when he is the on call doctor! Run away for your baby’s life

Wish I would’ve gone with a midwife. You’re seen for maybe 2-3 minutes, The doctor doesn’t electively tell you the heartbeat of the baby how big you’re measuring or anything! You have to ask all of the questions. They’re ready to walk out the door, and they seem surprised when you do have questions. This is consistent with ALL OBs I’ve seen at this practice (they rotate and you never see the same doctor more than once.)

I get that they’re busy, and they have a lot of women to see but patient care is really poor here. It’s also a long wait, and every time you come, you have to pay for parking! Definitely do not recommend. If you’re not high risk please go with a midwife. I thought that by seeing an OB throughout my pregnancy, my level of care would be better but I was so wrong. I’ve only heard great things about midwives so I’ll know better for the future.

They also give you false information and lack at communicating properly with patients, which creates undue stress.

Feels like a drive thru. Each time you go you see a different doctor. You are just a number. Very rude and stuck up front desk. Its like a baby delivering service. When you call in its like calling a call centre. When you go to your appointments you feel like your going to a car dealer to service your car. Fast and efficient. Doctors and nurses with no empathy doesnt feel like they truly care for you. Its like all they care about is to see as many patients they can so they can get paid as much as they can.

I had a terrible experience with the girl who calls patients into the examination rooms (I have no idea what her official role is called). She called my name along with 4 or 5 other patients and she lined us all up to be weighed. I asked her if I could get some privacy while being weighed (not have 5 strangers with their husbands looking at the scale with me). She looks at me like I'm asking her to slit her wrists, then she sarcastically looks at the other patients and goes "don't look at the scale" and she looks at me and says "just cover the screen with your hand! ".
Seriously? You're not able to politely ask the line of people behind me just to take a few steps back to ensure some level of patient confidentiality? Rude, disrespectful and completely unaware of the risk you're putting your clinic at by not maintaining confidentiality.
