Definitely recommend shopping around.there’s cheaper (safe and great service) options in the area. I was actually a bit shocked.the cost of a neutering/ vaccines is obviously a money grab, I guess I’ll be commuting to our normal clinic:/

I brought my quaker parrot to Creditview Animal and Bird hospital, and I wanted to say how happy I am that I found this place. I am surprised how much time the doctor dedicated to my parrot on the consultation and he made sure I understood what was happening and also what to do from now on. The staff are super nice and knowledgeable also. I am definitely coming back.

I do not recommend this vet, I had a very bad experience. The doctor tried to sell me antibiotics without doing any proper test on my bird. $250 for a 5 minute examination. When I asked him to do a crop wash on my bird, he said he's too busy to do it and rudely told me to go to another vet if I want one. I will stick with DerryDale and Britannia in the future for my pet birds.

I worked here for my high school coop. The doctor is made me rewash used syringes up to 3 times as well as surgical gloves.unclean environment.the worst part is they have beautiful intelligent parrots that never leave their tiny cages.

Horrible experience. They didnt let me go inside with my bird and called me during the visit just to tell me “he looks good”. I paid $150 for my bird to be looked at for literally two mins and for the vet to say he looks good even when i asked specific questions about him. Go somewhere else where they actually care about your pet

Do not trust this doctor with your bird! He told me that theres nothing he can do to help my bird aside from givong her pain meds yet on the exam report he wrote that the condition can be treated with an antibiotic. On top of that he charged me to administer the medication that I bought without telling me about the charge. Ended up spending $180 to go home with a sick bird and nothing to help it

I took my Conure (for his first vet visit) for a nail and beak trimming and a wellness check up. Very pleased with the results, so was my Conure.
24 October 2021 11:23
Highly recommend this place will be going back, hopefully not soon but they took very good care of my little conure.

I need emergency appointment for my conure and they took me right away when all vets refused to take me i am so thankful to them.

I was able to book an appointment for the very same day compared to some other places, where I had to wait 3 weeks for my bird to be seen. The doctor was very good in explaining the what could be the cause my bird's condition and the treatment options. He did offer me a pain killer for the bird but since it was already getting better, I was able to decline it. The previous place (vet office) I went to gave me things to buy when I did not need them. The appointment was right on time and the doctor was open for questions. He also finished stating that I would be able to call him back if I have any other questions or concerns. The rates are quite reasonable too. I am very pleased with the doctor and this office and strongly recommend Creditview Animal and Bird Hospital for anyone looking for assistance with their birds.

My 11 year old cockatiel had to get a beak trimming. Procedure was quick, but costed $200 instead of the $165 previously agreed to. They were also very rough with my bird. After the trim she had blood all over her beak, her eyes were puffy and teary. She was somewhat unresponsive and seemed extremely traumatized. Her beak was also clipped a little shorter than necessary. It has been 2 days since the visit and she still has not fully recovered from the visit. Will not visit again, I do not recommend going here unless absolutely necessary.

My 15 year old love bird wasn’t doing well. They we’re able to accommodate me the same day! The vet looked at my bird was very compassionate, honest, and sympathetic! I did have to put my bird down but both the assistant and vet were amazing! 100 percent would recommend!

Quick, compassionate and accurate. Great place for hamsters and I'm sure for other pets. Their COVID19 accommodations were safe and convenient. Very nice assistant and doctor. Glad we came here!

I took my sick cocktail for diarrhea and watery nose. The vet took $110 for check up. But he didn't do any blood test. No test for infections. Just called me over phone and asked what is wrong with the bird and he couldn't figure out what was the cause. I still rate it 3 star because I got appointment same day and my bird did get well after 10 days of antibiotics. My bill was $ 162 with antibiotics.

I rarely write reviews, however, I felt this was warranted. I took my bird here on Dec 24 2020 Christmas Eve because he was puffed up with laboured breathing. Due to covid, I could not come in. The vet called me about 10 mins after someone came to take the bird inside. He said, "yes, there seems to be a mass in the abdomen, " and while he was weighing him he said "oh he is having a seizure on the table, oh he stopped breathing. He has died. " This was all very traumatic, as I cannot be with my bird, all I get is a second person account. I asked if I could have him back, and the Dr.said, "we can take care of it, " and I said, "no I rather have him back. " Then someone else came on the line to discuss payment and I was so insulted. As a health professional, and perhaps my own standards of care, I found this inappropriate and lacking in compassion. I told them it was insulting they want to charge me 110$ exam fee for essentially poking the birds stomach, weighing him, and then watching him die. At that point the attendant put the vet on the phone, where he replied "I cannot force you to pay. " We compromised that I would pay 50$, and with some miscommunication the attendant (assistant) charged me the $110 anyway. I am waiting for my refund and will not return here.

Our Bella is very resistant to have her nails done, we tried pet stores and they gave up. Dr Saldanha is the only one who was able to do the jobs. Thank you Doctor for your patience with Bella.

Amazing! From the moment you walk in the door you feel valued and you know that the staff cares about your pet. Dr. Kevin is amazing and even though I have had dogs before he taught me even more. Some may think the prices are high but you honestly get what you pay for. I'm thrilled that we chose Creditview Animal Hospital. I know Bingo will always be in good hands.

I felt like I have recieved Quality service for my Pets compared to other vets. The prices are worth it. The Hospitality is very good as well. Other places have charged too much or too little & the care, service wasnt good.

Can’t say enough positive things about my experience at Creditview. Dr. Kevin was knowledgeable, caring, and very accommodating at helping our pet Toby. He fielded many evening phone calls on his own time, helped us get and emergency appointment, and set up our animal for a speedy recovery. Very appreciative, and would highly recommend.

I am absolutely shocked that this Dr. Kevin Saldhana has good ratings. Firstly, this vet gave my dog EXPIRED medication. EXPIRED. When I discovered this, we were simply told a "sorry". NEXT: the doctor here literally lifted up my dog, against my wishes and tried to put him on a table just to drop my dog on the ground! My poor dog now has a leg that hasn't stopped shaking since that day. When I addressed my concern with the expired medicine and the fact that my dog was physically injured and what we can do to FIX things, the doctor decided that my dog was no longer welcome to the vet. Dr. Saldhana -you need to have your licence revoked. Please stop taking your pets here. He might be injecting them with expired medicine for all you know. Be careful! There is another vet right across the street at Bristol and Creditview intersection. Go there instead.

I brought in my bird in early May because she was breathing abnormally that day and had a growth in her abdomen. However, she was still active. After an x-ray, the avian vet was quick to diagnose her with an inoperable tumor and gave us pallative medicine to relieve her of pain. I was skeptical of the doctor's claims and although I normally agree that medicine should be given when it is needed, my bird was still very active and did not seem to be in pain (I understand birds are very good at hiding when they are in pain, however my bird was still active). 4 months later, she is still alive, active, no longer has the growth in her abdomen, and is breathing perfectly fine. If we had given her the pallative medicine, it is probable that she would have died due to the medication's side effects or she could have potentially had other complications.

I strongly recommend people who have birds to seek other avian vets, as the doctor over here, Dr. Saidanha, misdiagnosed my bird and if we had followed his treatment advice, she would have passed away. I believe that the growth in her abdomen may have been a shell-less egg, however I am not 100% certain what it was.

Amazing experience, the doctor was very careful and a very kind man. He treated my African grey parrot very well for beak, nail and wing trimming. Will be returning

These experienced and professional people saved my bunny. He wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for them. Thank you so much! I would recommend to anyone and everyone! They truly care about your pet and not your wallet!

I don't like to say bad things about anyone but I think criticism can be helpful sometimes, especially if it's taken into consideration.

We brought our Cockatiel to this clinic because we were concerned about her droppings. They were not normal. Although the staff and the doctor were nice and pleasant, but the doctor did not suggest any testing at all. He did the basic checkup and said that everything is OK, but I know my bird and nothing was OK. So we had to take her to another vet, and she found bacteria in her dropping during her regular checkup. Another sample was sent to the lab, and the true results will be here tomorrow. I want to ask the Vet at this clinic to please always do the necessary testing to be sure before you tell your patients that everything is OK. My bird is on antibiotics for now. I hope there is nothing else wrong with her.

Doctors are the professionals. They're the knowledgeable ones. They're supposed to take the necessary steps, and based on the results, give recommendations. And only then, they can, for sure say that everything is OK. Thank you!

We were extremely disappointed with the way our puppy was treated during the entire spaying process.
- She was asked to be kept off food and that the surgery would be around 12PM the next day which we found out later that she was only taken in around 4PM.
- Following the surgery she was stapled up (which when discussed with other vets is only a good idea for smaller incisions) our puppy was around 70 lbs and a high energy dog.
- That night she was kept alone WITHOUT ANY supervision at the clinic and given absolute no pain medications other than the sedation during the surgery itself.
- The next morning her staples had fallen out and doctor told us that she had gotten to them overnight despite having a cone collar on. (We took his word for it initially) The collar was then replaced with a bigger one
- She was re stapled that day and we took her home.
- At home we kept a good eye on her and noticed that the staples were falling out without her making any attempt to get at them.
- Two days later we had to rush her back for an emergency visit because one of the incisions completely opened up. Again she was just re-stapled and sent home.

All of this was happening while our puppy was given absolutely no pain medications. We took her to another vet for a second opinion and he was absolutely shocked that there were no pain medications and sedation medications to keep her calmer being such a high energy dog. We had been taking her to this clinic since she was 8 weeks old so its not like the clinic doesn’t know her and her personality type. She is a beautiful German Shepherd and it hurts us to think of what she had to go through during this process.

We are glad she is doing really well now after switching to a different vet. I would not recommend this place solely for the fact that there seemed to be absolutely no empathy for the animal itself.

I brought my fur babies here after I rescued them and Dr. Saldanha was kind and informative. One of the two boys had suffered some hair loss and it was really worrying me. He calmly explained to me some common issues that it could be & how to care for him in the event of possible symptoms and signs showing up and gave me a number to reach him personally in an emergent situation. The receptionist was also great and I love the fact that the doctor takes in unwanted animals into his own care.

The medical field is not full of black or white answers and in the field of diagnostics/ diagnostic imaging; it requires exploration and observation of the patient & their symptoms in order to work (two things that a vet can sometimes not be granted enough time to do/OR/ sometime not have time to do if the animal is brought in too far past the time to be able to do anything in diagnostics or healing). So to thosegiving bad reviews, complaining & upset that this man did not have an aha moment and give you exact diagnoses with any and all treatments RIGHT AWAY for every single situation. You are just expecting far too much.

This is not a rude hit at anyone who has tragically lost a pet. Just simply stating that most times due to their illness having already progressed too far and/ or too many symptoms occurring due to immune system/ organ shut down (because of the illness progression) the tragic passing of a dear pet and family member cannot solely be placed on the shoulders of the practitioner charged with their care; unless it is in fact their fault of course. But after reading alot of the negative reviews on here and other sites, most of them at least do not sound like an error of the doctor at all.

I brought my hedgehog to this vet for swollen gums. The vet was so kind my hedgehog didnt even pop or hiss. He gave me a few avenues to treat the problem and we decided to start with the less invasive options first. This vet visit was certainly not expensive and they have adorable animals in the waiting room!

One of those vets where when you leave - you realize they have taken complete advantage of you and your pet's situation $$$$: - (
I would never advise anyone to bring their pet here
