Crescent Oral Surgery

I use Crescent for more complicated dental surgery, like extractions and implants. My family has used Crescent for more than 10 years and have never experienced a significant complication. The dentists, nurses and other staff are all pleasant and competent. I have confidence that the dental work they do will be as quick and painless as possible, with fewer complications than I have experienced when having similar work done by a family dentist. Their fees are essentially the same as my dentist would charge. They always follow up the next day to make sure everything is good.

Had an appointment to remove 3 impacted wisdom teeth. Dr. Lee spoke of the whole process throughly and went over the preparation, surgical procedure and the recovery process in detail. Overall excellent services and experience.

Crescent Oral Surgery is the best clinic around. Not only were their staff shown great empathy towards the patient, making sure patient is well prepared before foot to the clinic by providing detailed information necessary for the procedure patient will undergo. They also make sure patient feel comfortable once they are at the clinic, with efficient and quick check in service, roomy and relaxing space while patient or their family awaits to meet with their dental professionals. The aftercare pack is a big thumbs up. It goes to show again, how much care and thoughts are being put in to ensure each patient is well taken care. My most recent appointment was with Dr. Sripriya Jayaraman. She is very knowledgeable and caring. She did a thorough examination and gave me advice on the next steps. I met with Dr. GIoulis on my previous appointment he was very genuine, caring, thoughtful and also very knowledgeable. I know he sincerely wants to help me. The staff is also very friendly, positive and helpful. The clinic is very clean, well decorated and beautiful. I would highly recommend this clinic to everyone.

I had a great experience. Its a very organized office- reminders of appointments and even with post op they also followed up to see how I was doing. Everyone is very pleasant and accommodating.

I don't know what happened since I was knocked out. But the teeth they said they would extract were all gone so I guess they did their job right. And they do all the insurance stuff for you so I liked that. I just hate filling out paper works.

Definitely 5 stars for dental surgeon Dr. Mousavifar. I've had two separate surgeries with this highly-skilled doctor, both felt seamless (although they were tricky) and best of all both were very quick to heal with no residual pain. I also lucked out with the personable skills of his assistant Meagan and went home fully supplied with all recovery items and instructions needed.

I am very pleased with the whole experience. The staff are professional friendly and patient and yes Dr. Mousavifar Is a bit fast in explaining things, but I told him I need more time to understand and he patiently repeated

My daughter had to have all her wisdom teeth extracted- all non erupted and all impacted. We were very worried about the procedure.
Office and staff are timely and polite- this is the Hillcrest mall location. During the consultation Dr Amir Mousavifar clarified the reasons to do it and what the implications would be including possible issues. Frankly he made us feel very comfortable. The procedure was booked quickly for next week and all costs explained.
The procedure was smooth and I can’t stress enough how much support we received from staff. I think I called everyday for 3-4 days with questions. Wonderful experience. Fully recommend

The office staff at Richmond Hill were wonderful! My nurse, Monique was really nice and attentive to my needs. Dr. Mousavifar is the kindest, most efficient and light handed dental surgeon I have ever had the pleasure to meet and have work done by. A previous extraction elsewhere, with a different oral surgeon left me feeling like my jaw had been battered, but with Dr. Mousavifar it has been the smoothest recovery I have experienced so far.

I went to the Hillscrest office to get my four Wisdom teeth extracted. Dr. Oscar Dalmao did an evaluation and answered all my questions. I went in for my implant surgery and I was a little nervous because I wasn’t able to do full anaesthesia due to COVID. I went anyway and just had local anaesthetic and it was so painless and easy. I was in and out of the chair in 15 minutes. I felt great and was back to normal in a day.

Had a consult with Dr. Amir Mousavifar. He was very friendly, informative and compassionate. He said if I could stay 30 minutes he could do my root canal. The procedure was quick but thorough. No real pain or discomfort after. The staff were wonderful. My entire experience was excellent.

Pre-visit: As my condition regarding my wisdom teeth was deteriorating, the team was able to move my appointment to a same day surgery; otherwise, I would've had to wait it out. The reception/email/administrative staff are knowledgeable, friendly, professional and of course - accommodating.

Visit: It is suite 206 in case anybody has difficulties locating the clinic. Doctor Oscar Dalmao was exceptional in all aspects. As I'm nearing the end of my undergrad, I am transferring to PARAMEDICINE in the fall which will be considerably costly. It goes without saying that the more teeth I get yanked - the more I will be charged. Bear in mind - at the end of the day I will prioritize health > finances. Dr. Dalmao educated me about the benefits and risks of extraction/non-extraction of each wisdom tooth during the consultation. This allowed me to make a rational decision whilst balancing health and finances. The stellar administrative, assistant/nursing team, etc, kept me calm throughout my procedure. Surprisingly, I don't think my HR/BP shot through the roof because all staff I've encountered pre-visit/visit can really hold a conversation!

Post-visit: *Fingers crossed* I hope I don't get dry socket.

I came to this clinic to get a consultation for TMJ with Omar Shamji. I waited 2 hours despite having an appointment. When I finally got to see the oral surgeon, he looked at my X-rays and said he couldn't tell from the image so he needed to "take another one. " He then proceeded to take an x-ray of my teeth instead of the TMJ joint. I was told the x-ray machine wasn't working and that someone would call me to schedule another appointment for me to come in to take a new x-ray. Needless to say, it has been a couple of weeks since then, I never received another call, and was charged $350 for the supposed "consultation. " To say that I am extremely disappointed and frustrated would be an understatement.

Dr Reinish is knowledgable, polite and him and his staff are just exceptional. My son and I have Gorlin Syndrome and he has put the preventative measures in place to monitor us and ensure that we are taken care of. We have both had surgeries under him and I trust him and his expertise fully.

Polite staff, super approachable nurse and good facilities. It was a great experience overall, but they had a typo on my invoice so caused a bit issue to claim insurance, I asked for a new invoice but never received one.

The staff are horrible. They called us to visit on the same day they called and when we showed us the receptionist said no they havent call and it was so rude we even didn't got the explanation why it happened. And after 3 time visit on surgery day they told us they won't accept our insurance! The staff are just unbelievable!

I had such a great experience with Dr. Rittenberg. He is very caring, and took the time to answer all of my questions prior to my procedure. He was also very accommodating and was able to perform my surgery under unusual circumstances to best fit my needs. Have recommended him to many others!

I am so upset with this office. My husband was recommended to come to this office for implant surgery prior to a crown. He was quoted $2100.00 for the procedure and gave them his insurance info for the implant surgery coverage. Can you believe they don't bill it directly to the insurance company? What dental office does not bill directly to insurance first? So we go for the appointment and have to pay upfront, $2100.00 and he goes in for the procedure. I ask the receptionist how long the procedure would take and she didn't give me a straight answer. I asked if it was maybe an hour? And shes said yes maybe? My husband was in and out within a half hour. We get a call from my husbands insurance company 2 days later telling him that they had reached out to the dental office to let them know this procedure was NOT covered.the insurance company had contacted the office over a month ago and confirmed that they had received the pre-determination. The office did not mention any of this to us.we paid out of pocket for a procedure to get nothing back at all. Super unprofessional and unethical practise going on here.please, save yourself your time and money and go somewhere else.i'm extremely unhappy and will definitely be taking this up with RCDSO.

Dr. Reinish is by far the worst. He came highly recommended as the best surgeon in RH for wisdom tooth removal. I don't want to get into my medical history but I'll say this - the surgery was botched, and I had 13 months of complications, with extreme pain, due to him and his team working on me. Avoid him altogether and do not get your teeth removed if they are not bothering you!

My daughter went there in pain and after sitting there almost 3hours left in pain because they couldn't help her.l wouldn't let this place work on my dog.

My son went in to have a consultation with Lee on his wisdom tooth extraction. The service was rushed with little consultation and charged $98. Ridiculous for such services. Don’t these people know that it’s a BIG and nerve wreaking decision when one is contemplating of having wisdom teeth extracted?

For sure, I will not send my son back there for his wisdom tooth extraction. We have decided to go with another surgeon with better reviews. Crescent was recommended to us by our dentist. Will
