Excellent baklava! Bonus is is their sugar-free baklava for diabetics. Staff is super nice, very customer friendly. Since we couldn't make up our mind about sweet cheese, the staff gave out a sample to try, which we ended up buying (recommended!) Very sweet staff lady handed out a complimentary cookie of choice to my little niece. Last but not the least, packaging is great, looks very lavish - rightly so. They really do go above and beyond. Highly recommend.
Not sure what the hype is with this place. All you taste is the Syrup and it is WAY too sugary. The bigger issue is that many of their products are perishable and they won’t tell you how long it has been sitting there nor when it was made. When asking to purchase items from a fresh tray sitting nearby, they simply refuse! Customers should be able to know when the products have been made and their expected shelf life, That’s basic. This is coupled with a very bad customer service approach from the lady supervisor that trickles down to all of the staff. Better pastry places are around with less hassle and more professionalism in Scarborough.
When you enter this café it's smell sweet. Love the red decore It's clean also, the staff was pleasent too. I chose the pizza boat mushroom and chicken"" with a Moroccan mint tea, and for the dessert a slice of tiramisu. At the end I was stuffed I will come back to try the Shakshoukeh&Sujuk.
Very bad experience i asked for chocolate and vanilla flavor cake but i got mocca flavor which my friend was allergic to it. When i explained the issue to the cashier she told me can't do anything with it can just give 25% off for my next order. I wasted my 39 dollars and please guys go anywhere else. Don't waste your time in this wrost bakery in the world.
Well if you want to eat the best Baklava' s in Toronto then your search has come to an end. I was blown away with the variety and the taste, they are delicious. I usually find Baklava's too sweet, but here it's not, my favorite is the pista rolls, they just melt in your mouth. A must try if you want to eat Baklava's. Service was great too. Please like my review if you find it helpful.
Had the best experience tonight, came in for a piece of Kunafa, it was delicious. Cheese and everything was super tasty. Can't say more about their great customer service. Highly recommended!
Came in today and got a red velvet cake for my friends birthday it was $39 and it was fresh and worth every penny. The Employees welcomed me with a big smile and gave me generous samples. The store is super clean and welcoming. I will definitely be back again for the best sweets in the GTA.
Today i had the most delightful experience at crown pastries and I couldn't wait to spread the word! From the moment I walked in, the aroma of freshly crafted sweets greeted me, promising a sweet journey ahead. Every bite was a celebration of flavors, with each sweet exquisitely prepared and bursting with authentic taste. The variety here is mind-boggling, with a harmonic blend of traditional classic Middle Eastern sweets. The staff's warm smiles and eagerness to guide me through their offerings made the experience even sweeter. Highly recommend a visit to experience a sugar rush like no other.
I came today around 12 and got great service and the food was awesome! I love the customer service, they always treat me like family, definitely recommend.
Horrible customer service for the price of everything.
The women that work there judge you and prioritize others. They pick and choose who gets samples. It’s degrading coming to this place. I have been coming here for years to get my family baklava, no more.
Had good experiences and heard good things before. However, they served me stale sweets. It was embarassing to gift such a bad product to relatives, even after asking if the kunafa was fresh. Not cool when charging $35+ for the product. Also weird that they wont allow one to taste the kunafa when requested. Wont be returning and take my business elsewhere that knows how to provide a good experience and value their customers.
First time impression: Sugar free pastries are brilliant! Yummy and you seriously feel the low sugar content… Now after more than a dozen time being here: I have to take one star from my 5 back. Thet suddenly increased prices by 20% and now this not my first option anymore. Also when you get mixed pasties be careful. They often calculate with the highest price.
In one sentence, I love this shop. The people here are as sweet as their food. Trust me, I am getting soooo much desserts from them that sometimes they even worry about my weight! Jokes apart, you'll love them. Special thanks to Rahaf, she's a dessert guide, who will help with any kind of sorting or suggestions.
We came to this location expecting tasty and fresh products, but we were not very happy with the mix that we got. The sweets were not crispy or tasty as they should. The pastries/sweets don't deserve the extremely high price.
Best middle eastern desserts ever! Baklava, coconut finger pistachio, Turkish baklava square etc etc. All delicious! If you have not been please go. You won’t be disappointed! Absolutely yummy in your tummy!
I got a Kunafa and a box of assorted Baklava’s. The Kunafa was the first thing I tried and it was horrible. To add to that it was pricey. It gets 3 stars because some of their Baklava’s were surprisingly good.
Such a disrespectful girls, they are so flirty how does people feel comfortable going there, they don’t work they don’t help they are there to show off.me and my family will never go there again
This store has the worst and slowest service. This is the second time I ordered falafel wrap over the phone and at time of pickup it is knot ready.they ask to wait for it for additional 15 mins which drags to 30 mins. There is no regard of people's times or commitments. Very poor service and very poor quality. They still expect a tip for the lousy service be aware.
For my order today, I walked away without the order after waiting for 30 mins. I was still asked to wait additional 5 mins!
If I I could give a Zero I would have. By the way, this is about the Kennedy Branch!
