Service and location are great. Having said that, the rooms are in desperate need of a face-lift. Rooms are tiny, bathrooms are the absolute worst. There is NO COUNTER SPACE and no mini fridge in the rooms.

Booked a King Room in June (3 months in advance). Was assigned a Queen room a few days before my stay (Oct). Called IHG and was promised that my booking would be honoured as a KING. Upon arrival, I was informed that my assigned room was a Queen. I protested and they found a "king" room.

It was two twins strapped together with king size bedding. Needless to say it was not a great night for my and my wife. It would also appear that they "stuffed" the extra twin bed in, as the room was barely able to accommodate the bed as arranged.

The room itself was musty, carpet that has been damp or humid for far too long. Hairs on the bedding. Pipes running when neighbouring or adjacent units flushed or showered. The mould and mildew wafted through the air almost immediately.

Dreadful stay all around.

This property was in need of a rebuild 20 years ago and is still in need.

Location is great. Parking is not too bad, $39/day with IN/OUT privileges, which is handy.

And I am a Platinum Elite member. If they are going to treat me like this, I can't imagine what they give people who do not have status with them.

As a Crowne Plaza hotel, I expected much much more for my $300/night stay. Sadly this was a complete disappointment.

Did not get the room I reserved. Reserved a room with a view of the falls, but arrived to be told they over sold and I was out of luck. They graciously agreed to reduce my rate to a non-view room rate and I got a room with literally no view except about ankle high of the indoor pool. The restaurant service and food was good. A call to let me know my room would not be available would have been good so I could try to make other arrangements. Booked this specifically for the view for my family. I will never stay at this hotel again!

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights for a work function. The cleaning staff were friendly and the front desk staff were helpful and polite. The conference rooms were comfortable, but it would be nice to have some control over the temperature. The rooms varied from frigid to sweltering. The snacks served during breaks were varied and the coffee was great. The breakfast buffet was approximately 38 dollars, but if you have an appetite, its worth it. On a side note, many businesses have added a "Luxery Tax" to your bill. It varies from 4% to 12%. You can have it removed in some locations, as it isnt a government tax, just a local concept. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Niagara Falls.

We stayed here for two nights in room 801. The woman at the front desk both nights was the sweetest and very professional. You really can't beat the location - it's walking distance to everything. There were two sets of elevators we needed to use (one for the parking garage and the main ones in the lobby to reach your floor) and both were congested and slow. Our first night I was in a long line of guests waiting for the elevator in the lobby. It took 15 minutes before it was my turn. The entry door to our room was hard to open and shut (almost swollen?), my husband was the only one who could get it open. The room had a musty odor and overall it's an outdated no frills room.

This hotel is overpriced and should be ashamed of themselves. The room with a view turned out to be a view of a parking garage. I checked my reservation on my app and it said room with a view of the falls. They cheated us on that. The room was so small it had no room for a closet or anything to hang up our clothes. No fridge to keep our bottles of water cool etc. If not for the friendly staff I would have been totally giving this hotel a zero rating.

Came here for a romantic getaway and ordered the couples package. Needless to say.it was a odd and unpleasant experience. The room was dated, scuffs and dents on the walls, black marks in the toilet, carpet felt grimmey etc. The room felt very dirty. This hotel is very outdated and needs a makeover. The only thing we liked was there was TV and USB charging slots for our phones.

As I mentioned, we booked the couples package. One of the strangest things was my husband and I were placed in a room with 2 beds? Why place a couple who ordered the couples package in a room with 2 beds? We thought it was weird. But the wine in the room was nice.

I would give this place a 0 stars if I could, but our experience atleast deserves a 1 star. The customer service at this hotel is wonderful! Check in was a breeze and the front desk gentleman was so kind. As well as the woman who brought wine to our room wa very lovely. I hope the owners of this hotel can update the rooms. I feel like having amazing staff is the heart of a hotel, but it's a shame that the rooms are terrible.

Good stay for kids to enjoy waterpark. A room is small for family of 4, although we paid extra to get fallview high floor queen room. Bathroom is quit old and over used. Noise coming from close rooms and neighbors Bathrooms!

Do not stay here if u are a smoker! They will charge u 250 if YOU smell like cigarettes, all smokers know the smell sticks to our clothing so just save urself the hassle.

My sister and I stayed for two nights and had an amazing time. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite with amazing views of the falls. It was clean and spacious. Tegus, at the front desk was friendly and very helpful. We had the pool to ourselves and it was quiet and peaceful. A great little vacation. Close to everything you need. We will definitely return.

I am giving 5 stars because staff from front desk gave us AMAZING customer service from the moment I reported the room did not work for us and our reason why. They found another room for us with a great view Its walking distance inside to the water park, great hotel pool. Location is perfect, indoor access to Sheraton restaurants too. 2nd night it is 554am I still can't sleep, the radiator is TOO LOUD, and I need to check out and drive 2 hrs home with lack of sleep. I am so upset, I don't even want to talk to front desk.

Qque petites déceptions de la fine semaine:
#crowneplazaniagarafalls à l image des hôtels de Cuba qui roulent sur leur notoriété d autrefois, à mon avis c est un hôtel qui vend du beau (photos de " publicitaire") mais une fois arrivé ta baloune dégonfle.

-Chambre minuscule; on avait une chambre à 2 lits queen, on a eu de la difficulté à avoir de la place pour nos 4 valises.
-En 2021, selon moi un mini réfrigérateur dans une chambre d hôtel ça devrais faire partie des base.
-C est un hôtel qui est rendu à un moment de sa vie qui serait vraiment du pour des rénovations. Ça sent l humidité dans la chambre, même qu a un occasion, on cherchait un cadavre dans un corridor tellement l odeur était forte.
-Du à cette même humidité, le bois (portes, carde de porte, etc) est tellement gonflé qu on avais de la difficulté à ouvrir et fermer la porte de la chambre. à un point tel, qu à plusieurs reprise on a du jouer de l épaule pour ouvrir la porte.
- salle de bain:
-y avais un espace assez grand entre le bec de bain et le mur que je serais curieux de voir l état à l intérieur de se même mur.
-et toilette.ne pensez pas aller au toilette quand le monde dorment.ou si non évitez de flusher car les vielles toilettes à flush valve font tellement de bruit qu elles doivent réveiller la moitier de l etage. Pour notre part un le savais en maudit quand les voisins allaient au toilette.

Pour l emplacement je lui donne un 5 étoiles car il est très bien situé dans la ville, la très grande majorité des activités et des restaurants sont très facilement accessible à pied.

First off they upgraded our room from a non falls view to a falls view! Such an amazing surprise! This was my husband's birthday gift to my disabled daughter & she was thrilled!
Yes, the room was small, but I prefer to call it cozy! The room was clean & the view was awesome. Very comfy beds!
They were wonderful to my daughter & most accommodating with her wheelchair!
Mark greeted us & was so wonderful! We felt so welcomed! He treated us like family & even the next day he approached us to ask how our daughters birthday was. She was gleaming! He even remembered her age & name! We loved the old feel to this hotel! I felt like royalty visiting a castle!
The gentleman who booked us in, had the same birthday as my husband and they had a good laugh about that & come to find out that this hotel was built on their birthdate! The worst stay ever! Found a roach in our room as soon as we checked in. The tub was dirty with someone else's hair. They gave us another room but still had to pay over $300. Went to water park next day after forced to checkout at 11am. Asked due to our experience here if we could use a room for an hour to shower they made us pay 75! Will never return here. Disgusting hotel and experience! Save your money!

Balcony was a pleasant experience, great falls view from the side. But we got the extreme corner room, which means there was no falls view from room, you are right in front of the Rainbow bridge. Photos and description are deceiving.

Room was quite clean but unexpectedly small for the most expensive room in the hotel. The bed was comfortable.

View from the restaurant is great. But Included breakfast was a buffet with very little to offer. Recycled stale food. Somehow swallowed some of it. We found it quite disrespectful as we don't live on stale food in our day to day life and refuse to accept it at the exchange of a view which is not rare in Niagara falls. Anyways, we did not forget to tip as it's not waiter's fault.

Front office people were polite. Requested to escalate to manager who never responded. Instead gave a free parking in the invoice emailed. Close to $400 cost with halfway despicable experience was silently compensated (bribed) with a free $25 parking, a sign of utter disrespect and cowardliness. I would have appreciated a sincere apology than a cheap approach like this.

We paid for a partial falls view with 2 queen beds. The view was nice but the beds were doubles. The room was the smallest hotel room we have ever seen. The sheets felt like tarps. The pillows were very uncomfortable. The toilet gurgled and had water splash out of it when other rooms flushed their toilet. The tv barely worked, couldn't change the input, couldn't order anything to watch, most of the buttons on the remote did not work. 2 out of 3 elevators out of service. No luggage rack. Broken shelf in bathroom. The location was good, within walking distance to the falls, Clifton Hill, and many surrounding stores and restaurants. Very expensive for poor quality Hotel room. We will never book here again.

We've visited Niagara falls so many times and can never get tired of its beauty. This time it was one of those last minute trips that we said lets pack up and go. We should of did our homework prior to choosing the CROWNE PLAZA ON THE FALLS. Everything was amazing besides or room. We stayed in room 718 falls view for 2 nights. THIS HOTEL IS OVER PRICED! They say you pay for what you get, well we paid but we got and a dirty motel! Staff were friendly and bed was confortable. Besides that our stay was NOT pleasant at the CROWNE PLAZA. The room was very small, outdated with a headboard that was damaged and paint/varnish was peeled off, washroom has a glass shelf missing, toilet was very small with an over flow, we didn't have access to an anti slip mat for the tub, no ventilation in washroom. Window was extremely dirty, hallway smells like cannabis. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AND WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING.

Tiny bathroom and shower, wont fit 2 skinny people together.you need to try and avoid the sink when sitting on the toilet.
The room is over priced. NO view to the falls unless stood sideways and stuck you head into the window.
12$ charge was added to our bill, NOT explained by check out lady.
By the way paid 352 $ for over night

When I first checked in, one of the front desk workers were so helpful with finding me a room with a Queen/king bed. From then on it went down hill.
1) The AC unit in the unit BARELY worked. You had to sit ON the it to actually feel anything
2) the doors did not fully close. You had to bang it shut
3) there’s hole in the walls making you feel unsafe and like someone planted cameras in the room
4) after 9pm NO ONE answers the phone to help their guests. I tried calling guest service, house keeping and the operator. No one answers. The guest service like is busy and the operator/house keeping lines just keep ringing. There was one instance when the operator picked up but then hung up right away.
For price of this hotel, it is NOT worth it. You may as well invest a little more money and stay at a place with proper ventilation and good customer service. If it wasn’t for the one concierge that helped me during check-in, I’d give this hotel a ONE star.would NEVER come back.

It was a great view of the falls. Staff was very nice and helpful! Would stay here again very clean rooms good parking is easy but cost about 30 a night.and it's got a Starbucks in the front part of the lobby. You get discounts if you stay here for free beer sampling and chocolate from hurshy store. All close by. Suggest getting the balcony room if you can.

This was the worst hotel stay I have had in a very long time. It took over 1 hr to check in the workers were working so slow. Once I got to the room it was extremely small just enough to fit a bed. The hotel was outdated and had NO FRIDGE in the room we had to fill the sink with ice. The bed was absolutely horrible! The bed was 2 single beds put together I almost fell throw the crack in the middle! I woke up and immediately tried to leave but I was stuck waiting for an available elevator for 45 minutes. I was so fed up for waiting for the elevator THAT I HAD TO WALK DOWN 7 FLIGHTS OF STAIRS! There were so many people lugging suitcases down the stairs that a suitcase fell and almost hit me! I payed over 200$ for this! I wanted to complain at the front desk but there were so many people waiting in line that I just didn't even bother. DO NOT COME HERE!

It was way overpriced for what we got. I booked and paid for a king size bedroom and when we got there we noticed it was 2 single beds pushed up beside each other to make a larger bed. Mattress was not comfortable because there was a hole down the middle of the bed where clearly the 2 mattresses met. Not to mention that we could hear a very loud burst of water every time someone in one of the surrounding rooms flushed the toilet. Overall we had a terrible sleep and will not be booking with this hotel again.

Been there last weekend with my family the hotel is great location, but was disappointing, it is too expensive it wasn't worth money paid more than $700 for 2 night to stay in this hotel, for the room that we got inside the room had bug, the bathroom wasn't good condition, coffee maker wasn't work properly, no fridge, and dusty.

Great housekeeping. Good wifi. Charming antiquated feel. Old mirror, tile, bath tub. Great views of the falls but at an angle. Very short walk to the falls. Not cheap but tip your housekeeper they're very helpful and give towels and water when you ask.

One should check the bill very carefully. If you already paid the resort fee when you booked the room you might stil find it added to your bill.

Very old, neglected and run down, over priced, yet no coffee maker no fridge. To top it off carpets are dirty, rooms are stuffy despite of windows left open by staff. Brocken door knobs and crown, washroom door doesn’t lock, old iron. Total waste of money unless you want the best view for the Canadian - American border (was not our request; falls view what we were promised; good luck with their small and very dirty windows!), never ever coming back; for this money go to the nearby hotels or stay home.

So i am not confident that your facility and its management are going to make any difference to earn my confidence. Seriously we paid more than 400 CND for one night, and this what we get in return. Very old hotel with unique history (Marilyn Monroe) but the room we stayed in on the 12th floor was okay. Was clean but very old bathtub that was extremely shallow, toilets were tiny, pedestal sink so couldn't put our toiletry items anywhere but the back of the toilet. Things were old and can see that they needed to be updated but everything functioned. Just wasn't the prettiest hotel or room. If you like old or a like you've gone back in time, then you'd probably enjoy this hotel.

Room and service was fine but their concierge gave me lots of difficulties so if you need to book here you'd better check how is your invoice. We booked two rooms and added meal for 4 ppl and they said they would charge for one room since it's 2 queen bed room and when we check it next morning both room were charged so we talk to concierge she said we had good luck cuz my wife was able to catch it.

This place is a waste of money. The staff during check in were great but that's about where the good ends. The rooms are not well cleaned, the beds are tiny and they charge fees on fees on fees. Garbage was left on the TV stand, toiletries had been used previously and weren't replaced for our check in, coloured drops of an unknown substance were left on the bathroom floor. Parking is a huge fee charged daily, plus a "resort fee" that is for "perks" (wifi, a photo a Hershey's, etc.) charged daily, plus a PF fee that no one could explain charged daily. The beds are tiny and 2 adults can't fit comfortably, and the washroom was so small your knees touch the door, which pushes the door open because they don't lock or latch. On top of that, if your room faces the parking structure, good luck sleeping through the car alarms that go off all night. You're better off staying elsewhere and sasing the hundreds of dollars in extra fees.

I was shocked from the condition of the room.i Can call it Motel and for sure not a Hotel.
I don't know how Crown Plaza managment Accept this place to be under thier Name.unless its completely different from The worldwide Crownplaza management.

No fridge
No microwave
No bathroom door lock
WC is maybe 1960 Model with scratches everywhere
Bath Tub Drainage blocked
TV is the really old model maybe 10 yrs old
all of that discovered in the first 10 min.

I do not recommend to anyone unless the cost of the room is max of CAD 80/night.

The only thing good about this hotel is its location. The rooms are very old and they need a major upgrade. I have stayed in alot of hotels at niagra falls this one is by far the worst.
Check in staff is very nice and they make you feel welcomed but that's about it. It goes downhill from there so my recommendation is to spend little extra and stay in nicer hotel. Check out the ceiling of the room I stayed in. 5 different kind of ceiling tiles. WOW. Giving 3 stars because of the location.

Stayed at the Crowne Plaza hotel during Christmas Eve / Christmas day. The front desk was really accommodating with our needs! We came to the hotel as an alternative location to celebrate a family Christmas party, and needed a room that could accommodate having at least 10 guests opening presents. We originally reserved smaller rooms and asked for an upgrade the day of, and the front desk was really helpful with sourcing an extra room and offering an upgrade at a reduced rate to accomodate our needs. In the end we were able to upgrade one of our two single bed rooms to a king suite with a pull out couch for $100 instead of $200 - which was much appreciated especially since we requested the upgrade so late in the night (around 7pm)

Old and dated rooms smelled kind of damp when we arrived. Our view was of the pool (which could be noisy from time to time). Upside, the falls are across the street and there's plenty to do around the corner on Clifton Hill.

They need to do something about exhaust fans. Washrooms have no exhaust fans. Imagine the trouble you are in with a small room in winter when windows can not open. They should do some renovations. We got a good deal but no ventilation was a disappointment.

The upgraded "fallsview" room was a shoe box with a small window that faced the border crossing. You could see the falls if you pressed your face against the glass and looked right. It should have been called the "borderview" room.

The rest of the hotel was decent and the staff were friendly.

Ihg member and this wasn’t the greatest experience at all. Good was absolutely horrible plus how dirty the dining was.out upgraded room was a small as my closet. Front desk was nice and helpful.

Terrible experience. Hotel is dirty. The AC makes such a noice that I could hear it from the neighbors room. The AC in our room could cover a stadium. There was another outside engine like noice which source of which I could not identify, that could keep anyone awake. The executive room we had smelled like steak, being above the steak house. The towels have not been white probably in ages. I would never stay here again.

This place needs a serious facelift. The bath tub was very dingy (and the shower curtain was too short). The room was also very dusty. Made me sick to think of other things that may not have been cleaned at all/properly. The stairwells were also filthy. And the elevator situation is a major pain: parking garage elevators were separate from the hotel and also shared with the water park. I spent too much time waiting in lines for elevators.

I will never stay here again. Nor will I recommend it.

Worst hotel we've been. First room 804 with no heat and the second room 604 have no heat & loud noise. We have to suffer the noise and the cold whole night. Will never go there again!

Nice hotel. Rooms are a bit dated but well kept. Free water and bus. Elevators take time to take and our room had no exhaust fan. Had to open the window to circulate air
