Took my dog here for a full groom Sunday. (White Swiss Shepard). Was charged just over $200 and upon coming home noticed that she had multiple knots behind her left ear. Such a waste of money and time. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
Update: I received a call from the owner attempting to explain that the walk in cost had gone up from $20 to $50, and without even so much as an apology told me that the grooming cost covers just a standard bath, and if there was knots or anything else that needed attention it would count as an additional service. That’s the first time I’ve ever heard of such a thing, You’re better off going to the local PetSmart, at least their service doesn’t skip over details.

Do not come to this place! Besides their extremely high prices they charge, they traumatized our dog to the extent that he can no longer get groomed without feeling anxious. They also will charge extra if your dog needs “special handling”.

I'm a First time client. We moved and I needed a new groomer. Our last groomer actually cut Kira's paw while trimming her nails, so now she won't let anyone touch her paws. Phillipe was able to trim her nails and did a great job on her grooming. When I picked her up, I came home with a brand new and happy dog. Kira was definitely treated as a princess!

We had a great experience here getting our puppy groomed for the first time. Everyone was super friendly and we loved the end result! Would highly recommend them!

Crowned canines is a very clean place, cage free area, very gentle with all animals and leaving ur animal smelling amazing

My puppy had a few nails that were overgrown and curling into her paw that she wouldn't let me cut. I brought her in today to Crowned Canines and it was a fantastic experience. Her nails were cut and filed in less than ten minutes with no issue from my puppy! Thank you Crowned Canines!

I made a booking for a large dog bath at $65 and ended up paying $130 because Johnathan changed the price to suit his needs. Despite the receptionist confirming an additional cost of $10 for the deshedding, Johnathan said it "starts from $10" and therefore charged us $25. He also charged us an additional cost because he labelled our dog as "aggressive" due to us being upfront about our dog's anxiety when her nails are being clipped. My suggestion would be to discuss and confirm all pricing upfront when dropping off your dog to avoid unpleasant surprises later.
Response provided by the owner was not true as none of the costs were discussed and confirmed upfront when dropping off our dog - Johnathan didn't know what service we booked. (seriously why would I post a review if I agreed to the fees upfront - duh) Anyway we will not be using them again.

They did a good job.

My dog Luna has had some not-so-great experiences with groomers which has resulted her being very anxious and distant after the fact. This is my second time taking Luna to Crown Canine and I am shocked how she is back to her old self (accepting treats, cuddles and getting excited for walks) after being groomed. In addition to the above, the groomers do an amazing job with the cut and styling. Thank you very much for taking such great care of my dog.

Ridiculous service. I dropped my dog for nail clipping, bath and trim around nails. They said it will take around 1.5 hours. I got a message in 1.5 hours that my dog will be ready in 15 mins. I got there in 25 mins and they have a sign that their internet is down. So they asked for e transfer or cash. I sent the e transfer and then they say we are waiting for e transfer to go through when it said it has been deposited. This is 50 mins from the message that my dog will be ready. Then the groomer comes out and says they are just finishing the nails.

They had three things to do, and they message way ahead while they are only 66% completed.

Update: As the owner mentioned in reply to my comment that I had to wait after showing up is due to inclement weather and circumstances out of their control. They had messaged me that my dog would be ready in 15mins. If that is not true it would be common courtesy to message and be like it will be longer than 15 mins. We will let you know once they are ready for pick up.

On top of that, they tried to cover up by saying that they are waiting for e transfer to go through while I am showing them that I have an email showing the cash has been deposited as they have auto deposit. Then they said we are just about to finish up with your dog and she will be out soon.

They did a great job with my doodle’s first haircut! He had a few matts (one on his ear and a few on stomach and legs).

I brush him daily but I was scared that he would get fully shaved. He came out in a great shape! Would definitely recommend!

Just one minor detail:
I was quoted 95-110, but the final bill came out to be 155. It sounded a bit strange that my puppy (medium size) was considered as a large dog.

They do a good job cutting hair. But I am no longer a customer of crowned canines due to poor customer service. My Dog peed on 3 visits while getting groomed, even though I took him to pee earlier. The owner of Crowned Canines made it very apparent to me that my dog peed. My question to her was, what are you doing to make him comfortable…

When I picked up my dog, he’s seems stressed, and for this reason alone I have decided to take him else where. Having good reviews, or a large client base doesn’t give you the right to treat or deliver poor customer service. The hair cut is at a premium at over $100, you would think premium customer service would be included.

Staff is awesome and they do such a great job with my dog, who is often very difficult to groom. Naomi is the best of the best! I drive from Scarborough just for her services!

Very quick, job well done. The lady at the front desk was very friendly with us and our dog. Definitely she got a new client for life.

A big “Thank you” on behalf of Kush our lil Shitzu/Maltese mix pupp (he’s 6 yrs old bless) and unfortunately got quite matted in interim of getting him a good grooming!
So Thank you Meagan for all your time and loving attention given to Kush for his full grooming services. He looked adorable when I picked him up because admittedly I was expecting the worst in my head as I knew he was to be shaved short.
Meagan made him look absolutely adorable and so handsome, he was a happy camper too!
We will absolutely be returning before the summer hits for a touch up. Did I mention he smelt amazing when I picked him up, fresh as a blueberry! The love and attention given was beyond any expectation

Fantastic experience. I went in for my dog's nail trimming. He is always super excited and being a big dog can get a bit unmanageable. But then he is still a puppy.
The folks were super friendly, very welcoming. The best part was that I just walked to my car in the parking lot and saw them come out with the job done.

How could anyone not love such an experience? The big stores have their place but I would go back to Crowned Canines and strongly recommend it.

First time getting our little guy professionally groomed. Couldn't have been more impressed by the results. I was legitimately floored when they brought him out. He looked like a completely different dog in the best way possible! Very professional service and overall it was a great experience. Will definitely be returning.

Megan does a great job with Aster. We are happy to finally find a groomer for our poodle mix. Megan puts her best effort to get the desired look for Aster.

Great groomer, thorough job cleaning and grooming my dog. Have tried other places for nails and grinding, they seem to do it best here.

Only downside is they are on the pricer end.

Lynsey is the groomer who does summer and I've to say I've not seen anyone else that's better than her. She truly cares about my dog and I can see that in the service she provides.
This is a very good facility for all pet grooming needs

We have brought our pup here many times. And the staff have been so lovely to work with. They are patient with our dog and he looks great every time.

I take my dog here for grooming once a month or so and Megan is very attentive to my dog’s needs. My dog usually dont like nail trims so I was surprised when she told me that he was a good boy throughout the grooming experience. Definitely recommend this place.

We had our AussieDoodle Jasper groomed for the 1st time last Friday, February 26th. What an awesome experience, not only for us but most especially for Jasper. He is just a puppy, 5 months old so we were concerned if he would be too young, too rambunctious, too unsettled, but we had nothing to fear. Megan, our groomer was absolutely amazing! Jasper took to her very quickly and she was wonderful with him. She gave him the full treatment, beautiful cut, nail trimming and grinding, ear check, and so much more. Her calm manner and soft spoken voice put him right at ease.
The online booking system was very easy, filled with quite a few options for days and times, and we were so impressed with how thorough Crowned Canines are with their furry clients.
With one grooming done, we can't wait to return and have Jasper pampered all over again.

Just great customer service, tried to book on line last minute, they were booked. I decided to call, girls booked Rika our German Shepherd in, she came out so clean and fresh. Great little spot for your pet

Always very happy with how well they do with our dogs groom. They listen to my suggestions and work to make it how I asked. Very friendly staff, they are all amazing groomers.

They did a great job with my pup. It was his first time getting groomed, he came out looking great!

Lyndsey has been my groomer since Covid. Shay (my dog), is normally very antsy when being groomed, seems to be quite comfortable with her.

She also does a great job. Her paws and butt come out looking perfectly cut.

I have never given a business a negative review before, but I was completely ripped off and feel others deserve to be warned. I called about a month ago to book an appointment for my dog, and was told I need to book online. I went to their website to book and had submitted a request for an appointment, and was notified that if the appointment was confirmed I would receive a confirmation email. I reviewed the policy that said I need to submit my dogs vaccination records before the appointment.

Weeks went by and I hadn’t received confirmation, but I figured this was due to the fact that I hadn’t submitted my dogs vaccination record yet. The date that I had tried to book the appointment for had passed.

Last week I logged in to their website to submit his vaccination record and book a new appointment and noticed that there was a message in my account saying the last appointment had been missed. I went to my email and saw the appointment confirmation was sent to my junk mail. When I brought him in for his appointment today, I was charged an additional $42 for the missed appointment. I spoke to the owner to explain that the email was sent to my junk mail, and that I wasn’t even aware that I had missed the appointment, but she would not waive the $42 charge. I will not be returning.

First time visiting Crowned Canines and it went great! Lindsey did an amazing job on our little pup and was very caring and polite! We look forward to coming back again!

Took my golden doodle in for a grooming. Megean was our groomer and she took extra care of Nicky (my doodle). We had to get Nicky shaved due to matts, but Megean went out of her way to make Nicky look really cute. The staff here are very friendly and accommodative, would definitely recommend to other doodle owners:)

Crowned Canines did a pretty damn good job with cutting some of Eddie's nails to the length that I like them to be. I did think that some of his nails could've been trimmed a bit shorter but I also understand that he's a pretty squirmy dog. I've tried out a handful of groomers in the Mississauga area and I personally think Crowned Canines is the best I've come across so far. I'm excited to have potentially found Eddie's new go-to groomer for nail trims!

Good groomers are hard to come by. I write this with hesitation, because my glowing review of how well Meagan cut our floofy boi’s goldendoodle hair was SO fantastic that I want to see that she is successful in this business and can continue cutting his hair, even if it means she will be busier and appointments will be harder to come by. I would give 0 star if I can. Please avoid this grooming SPA at all cost. I drove 40 minutes to the SPA today due to its good review. My apointment was at 5pm, but since I wasn't too familiar with the neighbourhood, I arrived at 5: 20 after getting lost a bit on the road. I called the owner around 4: 50 and told her that I might be late- was told that it was ok. When I arrived at 5: 20, I was told that I would be charged a late fee of $15. This was not mentioned anywhere on their website, nor did the owner mention it on the phone. Furthermore, I was told that there would be an additional $10 of charge, because my dog had a lots of knots on her hair. So there was a total $25 of extra charge, when the base charge for a shower and cut was already $75. This was for a 15 pound Bichon where the total cleaning bill came down to $100 together, before taxes and tip.

I wanted to leave instantly but at that point I had driven for 40 minutes to get there. To make the trip worth it, I had no choice but to take their rip-off. The cut took about an hour, and the quality was mediocre at best. The final bill came down to about $120, for a 15 pound dog. I have had dogs for my whole life and have known places that costs $70-80 for way better quality and services. Charging your customer at last minute, when they have taken all the effort to get to your store, is just unacceptable, especially when nothing is mentioned on the website or the phone, when there were penalty of opportunities to do so. Imagine driving for an hour to go to a Raptors game, just to be told at the gate "hey buddy, we decided to charge you $100 more for the game. You can take that offer or go home, good luck. " I don't know how I can describe this behaviour, but it's just highly unacceptable, unprofessional, and in my opinion unethical.

I would avoid this place at all cost.

When I was looking for a groomer, this was one of the places that stuck out to me because they offered 40% off to new/first-time clients. My dog was only a few months old when I first took him here and they took great care of him! He is always excited to see his groomer, Lynsey, and she consistently does an amazing job with him. Don’t know how she does it, considering my dog is not a fan of home baths or haircuts. Lynsey offers great customer service, is super friendly, and my dog loves her which is the most important thing!

It would be great if they started a rewards program or offered discounts occasionally for regular clients. The service can get expensive, but it is still definitely worth it!

I’ve also read through some of the negative reviews on here and can agree that Naomi can sometimes rub you the wrong way. It’s happened with me, which is why I started booking with Lynsey. Since then, I’ve had no complaints! Not to say that Naomi isn’t excellent at her job (my dog was groomed by her the first time we visited), I just appreciate Lynsey’s genuine kindness towards myself and my dog.

Took my Charlie to Crowned Canines for his first groom and was very impressed how good he looks when we picked him up. Thank you Naomi for an amazing job. Appreciate the feedback on how Charlie did during his grooming. Will definitely come back.

My dog Dreamer was very happy after his session! He was calm. Lyndsey did a fabulous job. The owner Naomi was very professional and warm. You can tell they love their animals. I would highly recommend this place.

I would give 10 stars if I could! Naomi at crowned canine did a wonderful job with both my babies! My first dog came home with a burst of energy and I could tell he felt great after his grooom! I haven’t seen my dog look so perfect in a long time! My second dog had dental plaque removed and I was so shocked with the results! I would recommend crowned canine to everyone, excellent work!

I was very happy with the service from Naomi. My dog could feel the warmth she had towards her. She was not trying to pull out the door when i picked her up which made me very happy.

I really liked the work they did on my furbabies. Im giving them a 4 star but not because of anything they did. It is more me!

It is quite the distance from where I live, which I knew that.
Where they groom the babies is behind closed doors do I was sure what exactly there set up is. So maybe the main is clean and neat but not sure what the babies were dealing with in the back. They are $10 more each then we're I regularly take them. BUT. THEY DO A GREAT JOB so does all the above matter? ! Probably not

That's it really! We thought about going back but it's the distance.

I just took my cavaliers here today and I’m so glad I did. Naomi was very welcoming and friendly. She made me and my fur babies feel comfortable. She asked specifically how I wanted them to be groomed.
Let me tell you that when I picked them up I was sooooo happy with my doggies.
Naomi did a fantastic job with them.
She went beyond my expectations. She did exactly what I imagined and more.
They were cleaned up and trimmed perfectly with no flaws. They also smelled so good.
To top it off my girl doggie had a little pink bow on her ear, adorable touch.
I also noticed that they don’t keep them in crates, which is the best thing for them. They don’t take too many dogs at a time, so that way they are able to keep some together in an area where they are happier and get to socialize and play too.
Dont even think twice, take your fur babies here, you will love it and most importantly your fur babies will be happy!

I had a very positive first visit. I was nervous because my puppy is super hyper and it was her first grooming. Naomi was great and for sure we will be coming back.

My pug is a regular customer, Straight forward service. Make an appointment, you're in and you're out.better quality work than petsmart and more affordable in my opinion. Staff is helpful and understanding of both dogs and owners.

Love this place! I brought my dog Bailey in because her nails were so long. One nail was growing close to the pad in her paws. I used to bring her to pet smart however they always had a hard time with her (it’s a pug). I called as she started to limp and I was told to bring her in, I honestly couldn’t believe how tame bailey was with the groomer. She was amazing and handled my crazy, hyper active pug so well. She was able to help us which I’m so grateful for. I will continue to recommend your facility and thank you so much for helping Bailey! Ps. The dog ice cream and cookies were great, especially for dogs with sensitive tummy’s like mine.

My 4yo border collie mix, Otto, gets VERY anxious and nippy when we cut his nails at home so I've always been nervous about bringing him to a pet salon for the first time. I read another review that Naomi did great with another anxious dog, so I decided to give Crowned Canines a try. Naomi was AMAZING with him and cut all his nails in under 5 minutes. Great prices too.
