While visiting family in Ottawa for the holidays, they suggested this restaurant. Very nice ambience and food. The prices were reasonable and portions were generous. They were quite busy and our server did her best to be as attentive as possible. I had the pommes de terres pizza which was delicious! I would definately go back

Overall, the pizza and service was top notch. Our server was humorous and amazing! He gave us free ice cream sandwich as well.

We came in on Sunday, July 2nd 2023, we were served by Jordan S.and he was such a lovely server! Very kind, menu-knowledgeable, fun spirited and was super attentive to our table. 10/10 service and experience

It was alright. My wife and I went for our anniversary as our daughter bought us gift cards for Christmas.

The spinach dip was a little watery, the cauliflower wings, tasted alright, but they also tasted like they were frozen and not fresh.

The pizza is was good but nothing we’d go back again soon for.

They also don’t validate parking which cost us $12.

Great pizza, great atmosphere before a football game. Service was a bit slow (took a while to bring my dad a beer) but overall a really good experience!

Beautifully appointed restaurant in Lansdowne Park. Excellent food, served piping hot and very timely. Staff is wonderful… attentive and courteous, friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend this establishment.

Pizza was ok, more onions then anything else and crust was burnt in places. Server was pleasant but it took a long time to get our food. Calamari came at the end of our meal but we were not charged. Place was a bit chaotic.

Food is ok. They try different stuff but most are a miss than a hit. Service is slow and forgetful.

I had a really great experience at crust and crate at landsdown. The front house manager, Spencer took great care of us and tailored our experience based on our taste buds. For my friends birthday, he created a special shot just for us (which we loved) offered great options for supper and also brought her a cake to wish her a happy birthday. He didn’t sing the song, but he did remember her name which she cared about more anyway. I’m really happy we came here, would recommend. Great food, even better service!

Service was not very good. The water glasses were very cloudy looking when the waiter brought them over. Waited about 25 mins for the waiter to bring our drinks and take our food order. We were sat at a fireplace that was doubling as a table but it was too low to eat off of in my opinion. The waiter mentioned a promotion that after 9pm, all of the pizzas are $15 but that was not honoured on the bill. My friend and I had already paid the full price for the pizzas before my other friend noticed that we were charged full price and pointed it out. The waiter was not keen on fixing his mistake and got change for my friend who paid extra but not for myself and then pretty much ran away before I could say anything. I wouldn't go back to this location again. The pizza was alright but not the best I've had and in my opinion, was not worth the price (would have been if I paid $15 for it).

Great pre-game spot for good food and drinks. We made it during happy hour and sampled a few appy's before their mouth-watering wood-fired pizza's.

This is my go to pizza and craft beer hangout in the city. Fantastic venue. Great place to watch sports or be close to the game. Duck wings a must.

The restaurant and overall feel is great. Good atmosphere and lighting. The menu is limited but seems to have a nice variety of food. I got the spinach dip shareable to start and it was great. The best thing I ate that night. Our table also got the Greek pizza, Nashville Hot Sandwich and the Crate Club. These mains were bland and tasteless. I would not recommend any of them. I wouldn’t go here again for a main course meal.

Nachos and pizza were great, outdoor seating amazing, the drinks were delicious and the service was top notch. Giving a four as the water glasses that were given to us were dirty. Should have been spotted before being served to us. Looking toward to returning for pizza again!

Over priced for very meh food. Had the Nashville chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries and it was not very flavourful. Would not go back.

Pretty good pizza here. The crust is delicious. We ordered the chicken bacon sweet onion pizza with a white Alfredo sauce and cheese. Overall the pizza was just a little bland, not much contrast in flavor. Can't taste the bacon, and too oily. Still pretty good as the pizza does taste fresh and is served hot. Still looking for my favorite pizza place though:)

We went to the Crust and Crate the day of the bad storm that hit Ottawa. We had never been there before or heard anything about them. They were understaffed due to the severity of the storm but they were one of the few restaurants to still be open and have power. Our server Spencer kept us updated on how our orders were coming along even telling us when our pizza’s were in the oven. When we got our food we were amazed at the flavours of our pizzas, and the calamari we ordered were cooked perfectly. I would highly recommend this place for the food, and the service was exemplary from Spencer. Just letting us know what was happening and the fact that they had over 1000 take out orders come in around the time we were ordering but also giving us an idea of when to expect our food made the difference. Thanks and we will be back.

It was a great experience trying this restaurant. We enjoyed our food. I definitely recommend this place especially their drinks. One of the best restaurant in Lansdowne (Marché Lansdowne)

Worst restaurant experience ever! 45 minutes without even a glass of water.no glassware available? I will never be going back.

On march 25th I had dinner with friends and the food was unedible the meat was undercooked and the fries were disgusting. The service was horrible and I will never be coming again. Bad food, bad service, as a diverse country as canada is, I would never thought I would be treated from a professional establishment. You ever wanted to experience Racism* at its best please visit this place.

It was my second time here and I have to say the first time was way better. We were a group of about 7 people. As people were arriving the server kept asking us this everyone Over and over again. The service felt rushed. The restaurant was not busy and it felt as if they were in a hurry to serve us and get us out the door. The pizza was not bad. Had the south of the border pizza. It was a little burnt on the bottom though…

I have been here twice, and it was really good both times! My husband and brother really enjoyed the burgers, my brother said it was the best poutine he’s ever had! Mac and cheese is awesome, pizza is quite good too! The server we had both times was very friendly and attentive. Thank you

My folks went with our Arabic/Muslim friends, and on top of terrible service (absent waiters during meal and confrontational staff), the staff blocked them from exiting to aggressively confront them about not tipping, and then locked the door behind our Arabic friends with my folks still inside. My folks tried to reach out to the manager and they have received no response. There are better places in lansdowne, food and service-wise.

Good service, good ambiance. Our meal was delicious and we didn’t have to wait a long time. We had one of the only lower seats - I’d say something to improve is offering more regular height tables which are more comfortable. Otherwise great.

Such a great spot! We got the pomme de terre pizza which was delish and our drinks were great too! Jenna was our server and she was so sweet, attentive and gave us great recommendations! Will be back for sure.

Ordered through SkipTheDishes and was quite disappointed with the food. I got the jerk chicken sandwich. It was mild at best and the fries that came with it were not fresh. It was as if they had been sitting around for a while. There was no indication that the sandwich came with fries so I had ordered yam fries. Thankfully they were much better. I also got the Mac and cheese with pulled oxtail. Tasted good but not worth the price at $23 for the amount provided.

Firstly I would like to state that I found their menu to be quite interesting and diverse full of surprises and I look forward to trying everything. I decided I was just in the mood for a good old fashioned burger and what a tasty well made burger and Poutine it was! NOW all thats great BUT THE THING that MOST IMPRESSED ME was that they went with PAPER PACKAGING INSTEAD OF PLASTIC! OUR PLANET THANKS YOU

I had an amazing time here. Our waitress, Megan, was absolutely amazing, she was easily some of the best wait staff I’ve ever had tend to my table at a restaurant!

Very good pizzas and service was excellent: . For example server adapted to our short timing before we had to go to a movie. Not cheap.

Ordered take out, told me it was 20-30 min wait, took almost an hour and 20 mins. I ordered Rasta pasta and Mac n cheese, I was stupid for not checking my order. I got two Mac and cheese orders.
First time trying the hype, but I won’t recommend. It was not busy at all, they had like 3 clients inside. All the staff sitting in front of the entrance doing nothing at all. Great business…

Since its a pizza place, so one would naturally assume pizza would be good but pizza was below par. The nachos were good though.

Love this place! The pizza is really good and they have unique things. I just tried the Mario's Shopping Cart with had a mix of prosciutto and pear among other things. They also don't have as long as a wait as the other places in Lansdowne

As much as I want to give a positive review, this place did not give me a pleasant experience. Perhaps I entered the location too late, server were rushing me to order when it’s still ~35min until last call. Pizza looked so bad, even frozen pizza looks better than that. Pepper were still attached and olives were grouped up together like the chef is in a rush to get off work. Beers are also overpriced compare to other pub in the same plaza.

Seated on the patio, the table was stickey, I guess was not cleaned after the last customer, which makes me wonder if there are still cleaning measures in place, since we are not completely out of the pandemic mode. I had to ask the server to wipe the table, so she just wiped the part I pointed at lol. Ordered fish and chips, was tasty with a generous portion of fries which I found less greasy than the actual fish. But at the end I was left with the bad taste when I got home and realized I was overcharged for a drink and appetizer I didn't order. Admittedly, I neglected to check my bill, but I also mistakely trusted the server. Lesson learned I will double check my bill next time if I plan to go back to this establishment. To be fair, I did call and the gentleman who answered, did say he feels bad, but said once you step off the premises there's nothing they can do. Call me old school, but one way to make a customer happy is to invite them back to the restaurant with a free app or a drink knowing they will order more than just the freebie, but I guess times have changed. Well, maybe the over-charge paid will help recover some of the loss due to the pandemic. Then consider it a parting gift from someone who once ate there.

Had some pizzas and the lobster sandwich, all very tasty. Great service, nice casual setting on the patio for a Canada Day lunch.

My daughter ate here yesterday. She ordered calamari. She's eaten this several times without a problem. But after she ate her calamari she threw up in the restaurant. When she talked to the manager he acted like it was her fault. My other daughter was with her. They had to fight to get it taken off the bill! You think they would of compt.the whole meal! The manager sees she is really sick so he says give me your cell I will check on you later. He NEVER called! This is one restaurant we will never go back to. It should be called Crustie and Crate because thats how the manager is!

Fantastic experience. First time out with the family in a while and everything was 100% on point. Food was great especially the Trash Can Nachos. Service was impeccable and drinks were cold and refreshing. Great time on the patio and we will definitely go back.

I went to this very nice restaurant last Friday first day opening after the luck down, I was super happy that I got a table there but when I got there I got a smaller table it ok but I had no choice, but suddenly the general manager came to my table and he said that he saw my reaction from a way and he offered me a nicer table, really I was appreciate his move and how careful about the satisfaction of his customers, and the food was amazing, I really recommend this location

Went before the lockdown. Service was nice, and the pizza was amazing! They have this deal on Thursdays, 2 pizzas for $30. You save about $10-$20 and the quality of ingredients and care for the food really comes out in the flavor the impacts you with such intensity that it's comparable to the shock and awe you experienced when you realized that during a nuclear explosion, there is a certain distance from the blast where all the frozen supermarket pizzas are cooked to perfection.

Incoming paragaraph: My girlfriend and I went for lunch, I ordered the fish and chips and she had the Nashville chicken sandwich. She loved hers. I absolutely adored mine. As a Brit in Ottawa, until today I was yet to find decent fish and chips. Hands down, the best fish and chips I've had in Canada so far. And the the drinks choice were out of this world, what we drank were smashing! Our waitress was very welcoming and the atmosphere was perfect. Would definitely recommend!

In 2019 (before Covid-19) the pizza crust was crispy in all the right places and the sauce tasted like it took time and attention. The moist caramel carrot cheesecake was my favorite part of the meal and it was big enough for two to share. Fast forward to 2021 and the pizza crust is soggy, the sauce taste like it came from a can and the Caramel Carrot Cheesecake was so dry that my metal spoon could not slice through the cake. The slices are half the size now and according to the staff they are “pre-cut” so it makes sense why it was so dry.

I’m disappointed that another restaurant got lazy after COVID.

Glad I visited! Great staff, superbly flavourful pizza; and while I look forward to the day no longer needed.all COVID protocols in place.

We recently went to this restaurant for pizza, of course, and ended up ordering one each, which is a bit much, but they were quite delicious none-the-less. We are vegetarian and would have appreciated a bit more non-meat variety on the menu but we did have the vegetarian: Not your Grandmas Garden and: Mario's Shopping Kart, where we substituted the shaved Prosciutto with Eggplant. The pizzas were tasty and could have easily have done for two meals but we were hungry. If anything, they could have been just a bit better cooked.

The one issue we had and the reason that Crust & Crate did not score better was with the waiter standing over us and talking for quite a while, which was fine, and although he was wearing a mask, he should have kept a better distance due to his boisterous and expressive nature and considering that we had already removed our masks to eat. Servers must be careful to be overly cautious during this second wave of covid. They are in constant contact with a demographic that is most affected during the second wave.

That said, we will definitely be back.

Fun, relaxed atmosphere. A little more $ for what the food is but that's to be expected given the location.

We had a very lovely experience with our recent brunch meal at the Lansdowne Crust and Crate. My wife ordered a salad with seared tuna. When the server brought the salad out it looked delicious with a great presentation. But then the server realized the kitchen made a mistake and gave her the wrong salad. My wife said no problem but she would take the same portion of tuna as she had taken a bite of it. They took it back and within a few minutes the Executive General Manager Greg McCormick brought the correct salad out. He explained that a new portion of seared tuna was swapped for the other because he wanted her to have a fresh cut. My wife said the salad was one of the best she’d ever had. At the end of the meal, we got the check and saw that the salad was not charged. What a surprise! Mr. McCormick and his staff are true professionals and they made for a truly wonderful dining experience.

Visited on Wednesday night. Both ordered burgers. Burger patty was dry. Bun was too small for the burger and disintegrated quickly so we had to finish it with a fork. Don't order the burgers! Maybe Pizzas are a better choice.

The pizzas here are awesome! Prices are in the 15-20$ for their pizzas but I felt it was worth it. Our waiter was hilarious which made my wife and I'm experience all the better.

Get their pizza its really good. Its a real pizza oven that you can watch them make your pizza. The waiting staff was good and one was even cute. A must go if you like pizza

The food is good here. I'm surprised it is not a bit busier. It would be nice if the restaurants at Landsdowne could validate parking. The thing that was a bit strange this time was that the staff must have had some corporate directive for how to address customers. The person who greeted us said "hi friends. ", and the waiter must be come by and called us "friends" 5 or 6 times. It was very unnatural and cheesy (not in a good way)

Not really in a rush to go back. Tried it twice. First time they told us food wait time was 40 minutes. Which was nice to know upfront because we were going to a hockey game later. But then we waited 20 minutes and no one came to even take the order or ask about drinks. So we left and went to whole foods. Second time we went for brunch. We got served promptly this time still seemed to take forever for our food to come out. After my first brunch caeser I was pretty much full and could've have done without the benny. Overall, the food was good but nothing spectacular. I enjoy tots sometimes instead of home fries. I have yet to try a pizza which I guess may be why people go back here but again, not in a huge rush. I could do without.

Nice place FANTASTIC staff! Most clients seemed to.order the pizzas.huge for an individual serving! We tried three other dishes instead.pork wings, lettuce wraps.the wings were great. The wraps pretty bland. The pizzas looked alot better!

I had a grilled chicken breast sandwich. It was very good. My friend had a pasta dish that was also good. (The portion was a bit small). Service was attentive and.friendly. I'd recommend.

Expensive! The additional charges like gluten free crust and extra meat were not deliberately mentioned by the server. Go to an another place to save your wallet and have a good time!

Food was tasty, varied selection of fast fired pizzas mostly. Breakfast pizza was unique.decor is clean and nicely presented. The server was not attentive at all. Slow to take the order, had to ask another server to find her so we could have water, and the wait for the bill was terrible. Understandable had it been a busy lunchtime but there were only a handful of patrons. I'd still give them another chance in case it was an off day.

A seriously busy night and time crunch and they made sure myself and friends got a table in time to get to the concert after dinner!

Only one waitress and bartender at lunch today. They did their best but took a long time. Wasn't offered water. Our friends meals didn't arrive and turns out they weren't entered in the computer. They ate free. Good variety of cold craft beer and the food was decent. Overall a very average experience.

I’ve gone here twice, both times were a disappointment. The tuna appetizer isn’t bad but everything is sub par. The pizza even though they make it fresh tastes like a frozen pizza from the grocery store. It is very thin and has no substance.

I went with a large group of people the second time and everything brought to us was disgusting except for the fries. We all ended up not really eating and everyone drank instead.

Worst establishment visited in my life. Staff were rude and racist, the food was bland and in lacking portions, and they were entirely out of essential ingredients required for basic meals. McDonalds has better customer service.
