Crystal Fountain Event Venue

My wife and I had our reception here in October of 2023. Among all the venues we looked at, this venue stood out the most. George and his staff were absolutely amazing. Due to our party-size, George was able to make the entire venue available to us. I feel George went above and beyond his duties to help make our day perfect. Dean was there for us on the day, and he made himself available at all times. Any questions, or requests were taken care of, with no hesitation whatsoever - Dean, you're a legend, thank you. I couldn't ask for a more perfect venue. Even an exemplary wait-staff member named Gina was there to take care of everything we could need - she was very delightful and engaging.

Any future couples looking to get married, THIS is the venue. Look no further.

One of our favorite banquet halls. We have booked this venue for a party as well have attended several events. They never disappoint. The family owned hall goes above and beyond expectations. Service, Food, Style all for an amazing value.

Parking lot could use some more lighting. But thst is all i can say as my daughter didn't alow me to escort her inside

Went for a friends bridal shower and it was beautiful. The staff was super friendly and very attentive. I wish I knew about this venue 11 years ago, so I could have gotten married here!

Good food. Our business meeting had about 300 guests. Was super impressed they had about 10 projection screens to view PowerPoint through the ballroom.

No one answers the phone or replies to inquires online. Trying to inquire for an event but I've given up trying to get a hold of anyone.

Nice, clean, bright venue. Excellent, friendly, hardworking staff. Considering that the event happened during a snowstorm. Bravo to the staff.

I went wedding recently, their service and food was good. I think depending upon which we choose and wedding planner.

I attended a wedding over the weekend and the bartender made the best drinks and the venue event manager George was so kind to share the recipes! Highly recommend this venue!

This was the nicest hall I've been to, and I've been to a ton of halls. Everything was setup to our liking, the staff was very professional, and the hall was beautiful. The true gem of this place is Dean, one of the heads who manages everything and is an owner as well. He was super accommodating, friendly, and kind. He made our night. Super fun guy as well! Keep doing what your doing, Dean!

Good medium sized halls for event venues. However would appreciate some more control in the parking lot

Myself and other colleagues were here celebrating a high school graduation on May 5th, 2022. While the venue itself is very elegant, the service was very poor. The wait staff that came to our table were not friendly and did not go out of their way to speak with us or make us feel welcome. My friend was still eating her salad when the female waitress just grabbed her plate and started collecting them all.not once did she ask a person if they were done with it, regardless if there's nothing on the plate, it is very poor manners to just grab it out of nowhere without acknowledging yourself. Her and I also ordered a tea after dessert, I was inserting the tea bag to my cup when another waiter came to our table and started clearing off everything from the tables, including the milkettes and sugar packets I had yet to use for my tea. Once again, this waiter never spoke to us or asked us if we were using anything on the tables. Speaking with others that evening, the overall consensus was that the service was quite poor, which is a shame because this really did leave a negative impact on an otherwise enjoyable evening with our staff and students.

We had our wedding at Crystal Fountain on Saturday May 7,2022. We had postponed it twice due to Covid. George and Dean made everything so easy and not stressful at all. They were always there if we had questions or concerns. It was the most beautiful day of our lives. Everything was perfect, and Dean was there if we needed anything at all during the reception. I recommend Crystal Fountain a million times over. Staff, food, venue is all amazing.

We have been fortunate enough to hold all our events at Crystal Fountain - engagement, wedding, and our daughter's baptism this past weekend. It was the first event post covid restrictions, and we really didn't know what to expect when we started planning. George and Dean made the planning process super easy (even with my thousand phone calls lol). The food was as delicious as we remembered it, the hall beautiful and clean. Can't wait for our next event!

My husband and I got married there yesterday and the venue and its coordinators were amazing. George and Dean were easy to work with and accommodating to our requests. The food was delicious and the process of booking was smooth, given the limitations of COVID. Everyone was very professional and we have a great time. We didn't have to worry about anything because the coordinators took care of it all. We were very pleased with our time spent at Crystal Fountain and will recommend it to our friends for future events

Thank you to Dean and the entire Crystal Fountain team for making my wedding the best day of my life. The food was amazing, the service was impeccable and the staff was everything I hoped for. If you're looking for a place to do your event look no further.

We initially planned our wedding for November 2020 but due to covid had to change it (several times), and finally had a full reception on July 24th, 2021. George and Dean were so easy going and were extremely accommodating to all of the short notice changes we had to make due to covid. All of our guests had a great time and couldn’t stop raving about how good the food was and how beautiful the venue is. 10/10, I would recommend this venue to anyone!

I've visited Crystal Fountain a couple times now for workplace events and they've been great every single time. There's adequate parking and all my co-workers love the space for your annual events. Couldn't recommend this place enough.

Nice venue! Clean and elegant.the food is decent, but I tasted better (room for improvement). Bartender is also cool and the staff are very very friendly

Attended Frank Bishun's (DJ Classico) Valentine's day event here and we had a wonderful time! Beautiful chandelier and fountain upon entering the venue, also a cool waterfall lighting fixture to the right of the fountain.

I attended my wifes work dinner, good place for the venue, well decorated, staff courteous, washrooms clean, whole place well kept clean. The drink prices were reasonable. Food was good!

Very professional! Always a great meal with wonderful appetizers. A good value if you need a wedding venue!

Beautiful location. Perfect for events, weddings, services etc. There are amazing corners to take beautiful photos.

The place is nice as they have a clean washroom, northside. Service was good too as they have done French Serving. Servers are polite as they asked if we want a second hit for the penne. Servers are attentive as they refill water as often as it could. The ratio of servers per table are just enough and they are not always in hurry serving, they are mindful of quality service.

Highly recommend this place! The staff is great and the owners will help out with whatever you need!

We had our wedding reception here in July of 2019. Our experience was amazing. The food was wonderful, and I had very good feedback from guests on the food as well. The staff was extremely friendly, and accommodating. We did our photos here and they turned out amazing at this beautiful venue. George definitely took huge amounts of stress off of us on our wedding day with how accommodating he was. I can’t say enough good things about this place from how classy and elegant the venue is, the food, the many spots to take amazing photos and a staff that I truly believe is the most accommodating and helpful you will find in the gta. Thank you to George and crystal fountain for making our day go so smooth.

We attended the Markham Art Council Gala. Service was great and food was delicious. Event venue had plenty of parking.

I had my wedding here in October and it was phenomenal. The staff was amazing. George and Dean are so professional and down to earth. They made my day go so smoothly. The quality of their food is outstanding. I had everyone leaving my wedding saying this is the best reception they have ever been to. I highly recommend having your function here. Besides my own wedding I always look forward to functions here. Thank you to all the staff at Crystal Fountain for making mine and my husband's dreams come true.

FOOD is TERRIBLE, attended 2 events recently Nov 8 and 15,2019. Both evenings the identical menu was served. MAIN dish was terrible. Soup & Salad were fine. Chicken needs more seasoning, was fatty. Salmon at both events seemed like it was boiled with no seasonings and dry. The rice was horrible. Need a dessert that is not wrapped in a crepe. Plain icecream would be better without the crepe wrapped around it. If you can't get good quality then do not serve it please. If they do not get a new CHEF I will not be attending any other events at this location. My friend just told me that she will not be attending any other events at this hall. The hall itself is very nice. Staff is good.

George and Dean have been the most amazing people to work with! I just had my wedding here over the weekend and these guys have been nothing short of incredible! From the early planning stages through to the end they have been accomidating, flexible, supportive, friendly and prompt with all my questions and concerns. At the end of the day I was extremely satisfied with them and would recommend anyone looking for a venue to check them out. George, Dean, thank you for everything!

Was there October 23,2019 for the Markhaven fund raising. Beautiful place. Service good. Wonderful having Markham Firefighters on display. Pleasant folk. The hordeurve servers looked miserable and acted that way towards the clients. There were 580 people in attendance. The food was inedible. The parisiene potatoes were under cooked. The vegetables didn't seem to have been introduced to any type of cooking at all. Not so the chicken. It was like leather. Couldn't cut it. The salmon dry. Perhaps a new venue should be found for next year.

We had our wedding here and it was as we imagined it would be! Special thanks to George and Dean. They were great and the staff was very professional.

The place has decent decor. Not over the top with modernist touches. The place can be used for corporate events as well. Hall is spacious and parking plentiful.

George and the team were all really great! He was very accommodating, the staff was very attentive, and the food was some of the best. We were happy to be able to meet a few members of the family and all were extremely nice! They understand the stresses that come with planning a wedding, and they do what they can to make things easy. Would gladly recommend this venue to anyone!

My fiancé and I were considering this venue to hold our wedding. We were attracted to the newly renovated space, clean and modern look, and lovely chandeliers. Before booking with this venue, however, it was important to us that we taste the food. The food is an important aspect of a wedding and we didn’t want to be locked in until we knew that the food was satisfactory.

We dealt with George, who allowed us to do a food tasting for 4 people prior to making a full commitment. He let us know that he did not usually do this, and that he usually only allowed tastings after couples had fully committed to the venue. He required us to put down a $3,000 deposit, and if we were not satisfied with the food, he would return our deposit. My fiancé and I wanted to pay for the tasting (which is common practice at most other venues if you haven’t fully committed with them), but George insisted that he did not do business this way. He emphasized that he would not be offended if we were not satisfied with the food and decided to not go with the venue.

On the day of the tasting, it was me, my fiancé, and my parents. To make a long story short, we were not satisfied with the food. When we let George know about the food that we found unsatisfactory, he was evidently offended and became defensive. He commented that he didn’t “chase people” for their business, basically letting us know that he didn’t need our business and if we didn’t like the food we could look elsewhere. That might be true, and you might be thinking that, but you DON’T say that to the customer. Very disrespectful and unprofessional.

On our way out, he returned our $3,000 cheque, tossing it on the table. He expressed his frustration at the unsuccessful pre-booking tasting, exclaiming, “See, this is why I don’t do this” (referring to allowing us to do a tasting without fully committing to the venue first). My mother was also looking at their menu and was uncertain about whether to take it with us or not, at which George sarcastically replied, “You’re saving me a dollar by leaving it” and then stormed off.

We ended up sending George a cheque paying for the food we tasted (we didn’t go there for a free meal!). I’m glad we didn’t end up going with this venue. It’s when things go wrong that you see a venue’s true level of professionalism and quality of customer service.

George and his team at Crystal Fountain really helped to make our wedding a memorable day! The food and service was amazing, and the bar was always stocked. The space is gorgeous as well - didn't even need to hire a decor company. I would definitely recommend.

Crystal Fountain is where the company i work for have town hall meeting and service awards, its a very nice place.

The venue is beautiful but the customer service is horrible. Not accommodating to your needs at all.

The stuffed chicken in mushroom is boring, the soft drinks are lousy! There's nothing worse than serving flat soft drinks with a meal. I suggest you guys increase the cost of your banquet services, and provide guests a good meal. The only decent thing I tasted was the iced cream. And by the way, this was my 2nd visit to your banquet hall.both times, i give you a low grade.

I just had my wedding at Crystal Fountain over the past weekend and Dean and the Crystal Fountain team far exceeded my expectations. All of my guests could not stop talking about the food and service, the Surf and Turf is to die for and the hall in and of itself is stunning. Thank you for everything you guys made my day perfect.

I attended a wedding at this location last week. The food was great, the service was excellent, and the venue was beautiful.

They have really changed this place. Looks amazing. I have been coming to this venue for the past 20 years. We had our 2018 Christmas party here and the food was great.

George and his team are amazing, their customer service top notch. The hall itself is beautiful. They have a small hall upstairs as well that could accommodate 50-75 people.

We recently had our wedding at Crystal Fountain and highly recommend it! The venue itself is beautiful with lots of chandeliers and the gorgeous namesake crystal fountain in the South Hall which is great for photos! George and Dean were both amazing to work with, super professional and very accommodating. The food here was also fantastic – our guests kept commenting on how good the food (especially the pasta) and champagne was and how great the service was. Everyone here made our day truly the best. Thanks Crystal Fountain team!
