Service Excellent.but for a Culinary school I was not impressed. Ordered Ceasar Salad - The dressing made the salad look like it was old lettuce. No bacon.

Had a steak was good but the portion of potatoes and veggies was waayyy to small.could have eaten 2 plates

Was here for an event. Gorgeous venue, lunch was fantastic.

They are creative with their ingredients.

Steak was overdone but understandable tough when navigating with a large group.

Exceptional service and perfectly executed food. I've been here twice. The first time was for date night. We were in the lot dinning room which was very private and intimate. I had the salmon with the whey sauce, perfectly cooked and full of umami.
The second time was for a corporate party. The prices were very reasonable compared to other restaurants. Especially for alcohol. And the events manager was very responsive and accommodating. 35 people in the downstairs party room was quite spacious.
The location itself the Elliot house is gorgeous and full of character. Tastefully decorated inside and with a free coat check. I highly recommend this restaurant for special occasions.

Great space, food is good and service is great. Pasta had an incredible basic sauce that was so much better than others with unnecessary things added to it. Steak was cooked perfectly even though it lacked some seasoning.

I have never been to one of their workshops, however. I booked one and got an email that they have cancelled their workshops. Has anyone else had this issue? Their reason is not justified to me seeing that they don't actually explain, and they don't offer any solutions. Very disappointed by this place! Horrible. They could have scheduled me for another workshop, all they did was give a very weak excuse and refund. While the refund is appreciated, they are not aware that some of us looked forward to this workshop. Their event manager Chelsea, is not very good at making the issue any better either. Such unprofessional people!

SPOLIER ALERT, I NEVER, EVER, EVER GOT A REPLY FROM ANYONE.that is Untrue, I EMAILED YOUR STAFF SEVERAL TIMES. And never got a reply, but the time I did get through was a fluke and was told it was due to a 'resignation'. Nothing was offered by way of a re-scheduled workshop!

SO WHAT IS THE TRUTH a 'scheduling' conflict' or resignation. The workshop was still advertised on your website and never state CANCELLED. There seems to be multiple inconsistences on your explanation. This impacted my family scheduling, and if you can't honour your workshops or at LEAST RESCHEDULE at a later time that is very unprofessional and not appreciated! You directly impacted my plans. AND NO ONE ABSOLUTELY NO ONE REACHED OUT TO ME BY EMAIL, SO CHECK YOUR misconceptions. And secondly the email which stated your reasons, seemed very unprofessional. No one should trust your workshop or management any further!

I attended a bridal shower that was hosted here and omg, the food was delicious! Servers and atmosphere was great. I would definitely like to go again

My sister and brother in law had their wedding reception dinner here & everything was wonderful! The staff were very helpful & professional & the place itself is very nice & welcoming. Highly recommend the margaritas, they’re delish! Thanks for making my sister and brother in laws wedding a night to remember!

My children attended the summer camp and had such a fantastic time! Each week is themed and my kids brought home something different everyday for us to try! Not to mention, the food was delicious! They come home excited and wanting to show me what they've learned.

Nothing impressive. Good for hosting business events and business lunches. The staff did the job as expected. The food and plates presentation was good but nothing to remember.

We met with Michelle and booked their "big party room" for a Baptism brunch and handed them a $2000 deposit and also signed a contract with them after seeing the space. Two weeks before our event, we called her to confirm, and she casually mentioned that we were moved to the smaller room for our venue. She couldn't give even give us a reason why. We were furious because we signed a contract and our party will no longer fit the space well. She ended up offering us a refund and we had to scramble to find another place 2 weeks before our event.
I'm assuming another event came up and she gave our room away and downgraded us. This is terrible business practice. We are well-connected in our community and have since stopped a few people from contacting Culinaria for their events and my company is nearby and I have conveyed to all my staff to not go here either. This isn't the first time I've heard of this, there are facebook posts and reddit threads of other people this has happened to—just a warning to stay away from this place for your events. Good luck.

Apr 27 Edit: This response is untrue. Feel free to believe that culinaria’s “business policies” were “communicated”, or the family who had to cancel because they were shown a room that was already booked and told based on their headcount they would be allocated it. We have the email from July 20 that had a count of 26 adults, 5 children and 3 infants, and a response that never included information we would be in a smaller room which exceeded the guest count. Not once were we informed we needed to reduce our numbers to fit a smaller room. We have the emails; check Reddit or Facebook groups; others have experienced the same. Seemed like a gamble was made and you hoped we would be submissive and take the small room while misleading us. It’s truly unfortunate the owners or managers never apologized, hopefully you will be clear with future guests and no other family experiences this.

Culinaria hosted our Business Dinner Event on April 18,2023. All the execs and board members from overseas had a wonderful experience. They loved the food, service, and atmosphere. I received several "job well done" and "great choice" compliments from my bosses - thank you Culinaria, you made me look good too. Will definitely book here for future events. Thanks to the friendly wait staff, and great chef - and Michelle (event coordinator) who was so friendly and easy to speak with and made it such a breeze to put it together. Don't hesitate to book any gathering or event here. You won't be disappointed.

This is my second time planning a large corporate event at Culinaria. The first was in 2019 and the latest being this past week (April 2023). Each event consisted of about 60 people and was extremely well received by all participants. For this last round, we did the in-kitchen cooking experience and the blind taste test exercise as a team building event for our guests. The experience was awesome. Everyone had so much fun and the staff were knowledgeable, attentive, and very entertaining (and of course, the food was A+). If you're looking for a team building event, I highly recommend Culinaria!

Went for Valentine's Day dinner last night. Food was amazing, great portion sizes. Atmosphere and decor were lovely. Staff were excellent - our server Kyle was wonderful! Will definitely be returning.

It's a delightful dining experience. Food is amazing. Staff is really polite. Great place for team lunches. Blind tasting was amazing. We learnt some new herbs. Food in itself is really amazing.

An excellent venue to celebrate a special event. Plenty of menu options to accommodate different price points. Food, service, planning support, culinary staff were amazing.

Wonderful dining experience. Very private and quiet dining room. Friendly staff and exquisite food. The food is truly tasteful and delicious.

It is very well lit and decorated. Server Stefano was fantastic. Food was delicious, but portions were a little smaller than I would have liked. 4.5 out of 5.

Good location and nice clean decor. The food considering that we attended the big family function was quite good. The antipasto and the appetizers were excellent. The service was very good. The main courses was sort of hit and miss but overall very good experience. I would not hesitate to use them for my own event.
An update based on a recent visit, three years after the original visit. Again, I was attending a family event and the experience was very symillar as the last time. In short, the place is recommended.

Amazing cooking class, friendly staff, and fantastic food. All in a beautiful, elegant restaurant. Will 100% be going back!

Went for high tea. It's a very beautiful place but in terms of the food was kind of lacking. Tasted good just small portions, the dessert was the same thing I get from Costco.

Great service and food, a real change from many other food experiences. Many literal layers of flavours and textures to enjoy!

I can only speak for their culinary classes, and not the food in their restaurant.

With that said, the culinary classes are amazing! Chef Andrew and Chef Taylor are incredibly knowledgeable. They are very friendly and easy to talk to. Will answer all your questions and help guide you along the way to becoming a better cook. I very much enjoyed my 8 week boot camp.

We just celebrated a family members 65th birthday and we loved our time there! The space you get is actually private and so it really makes it feel homey and intimate. Service is very professional, place is clean and looks wonderful. Food is delicious! Many of our guests commented on how great the place was. Would definitely recommend! The outside of the restaurant does not do its inside (service & otherwise) justice. It's worth the money you spend.

My 10 year old is in the March break camp. It was an amazing day! Comments include “I am so proud of my self! ” and “ I never thought I could use and oven and make crème brûlée - it was so good! ” Bring extra take away containers! She brought home 3 mains and 2 desserts! I could not be more pleased with a camp. Worth every penny!

Culinaria is perfect for date night, if you want exquisite food, in a cozy setting, and great customer service!

Our meals were delicious and just the right portion size, but filling. We had the scallops, beet salad, kale caesar salad, steak, sea bass, and chocolate mousse for desert.

Amazing restaurant, great food, everything is cooked to perfection, steak just needed a bit of salt and pepper, after which it tasted perfect. Shrimps were some of the best. Service is top notch - very polite employees.

One small comment, given it was Valentine's dinner, would have appreciated some nice romantic music playing in the room, instead of hearing the conversations of the tables around us.

Amazing Venue, Excellent Meal and Service. Our second staff Christmas Dinner.

Steak was tender and done perfectly. Sweet Potato soup was excellent with a splash of mint. Hors D'Oeurves were delicious. Would liked a more gingery taste for the gingerbread cheesecake but decent. Tiramisu was smooth and soft and not too sweet. Smaller and more personal venue. Neighbours were a bit noisy but forgot to ask staff to shut the door to their room. We would go back.

Attended a work party there recently and it was a fabulous experience! They are following all screening protocols, and the staff are courteous and attentive the entire time. There's a great variety of menu options to suit everyone's tastes including vegetarian (salmon and risotto was delicious). Desserts and drinks were excellent. I literally can't think of anything to improve upon. Looking forward to going back soon!

My family hosted my bridal shower at Culinaria's and it was truly one of the most memorable events I will never forget. Culinaria's is the perfect venue for any occasion and they managed to help my family turn my dream bridal shower into a reality. From the tasty food to the friendly staff, my guests continue to share with me how much they enjoyed the event and every aspect. Our experience at Culinaria started few years ago with couple's cooking classes, we loved them and had lots of fun. So when we got engaged there wasn't much discussion about the venue - Culinaria was a clear choice! We held our Wedding Ceremony and Celebration there too. Chelsea managed the scheduling and organization of the event. Communication was always proactive, I never had to follow up, she answered our questions and modified and customized everything to our liking. The atmosphere at the restaurant is very elegant and intimate, service was above and beyond and food was incredible. We look forward to going back to celebrate more events there! Thank you Culinaria!

Mother’s Day 2021 - loved their Valentines Dinner so much, we repeated for Mother’s Day! Culinaria delivered again, from the mouth watering steaks and incredible salmon, to the awesome sides and desserts (Ameretto Fudge Cake!), and don’t forget the fresh baked Sourdough, Ciabatta and Dark rye breads that were still warm when I got home. Thanks again for a successful dinner at home You have the take out model down pat and are my go to place for special dinners. Can’t wait until Father’s Day.:)

Culinaria’s Valentine’s Home Edition (2021) was simply perfection! The food melted in our mouth! A Michelin meal at home. We are huge fans of Culinaria, always hosting all our important events in the beautiful restaurant. We will now do all our take home events as well. Thank you Chef for making our Covid Valentines a special night!

Beware. The staff at this establishment are not following COVID precautions. One employee in particular refuses to wear a mask, has been attending anti-vaccine rallies and protests and is treating the pandemic like a joke. This restaurant does not care about the safety of its guests!

I ordered the Mother’s Day High Tea set for 2 for $65+tax. The food quality was good and the tea provided was decent. My qualm was that the portion sizes were too small for the price. For $65 dollars we only received 3 sparsely packed take out containers worth of food and a handful of teabags.

In all, we received two scones, two cookies, two finger sandwiches and two tarts on the sweet side, all bite sized. On the savoury side we received 2 beef appetizers, 2 salmon appetizers, two bruschetta topped focaccia, and two slices of a small loaf of rye bread, once again all bite sized.

In all that’s only 8 bites of food per person at $32.5 per person! Each bite sized item is priced at a little over $4 per item!

All in all, if you are willing to splurge this isn’t a bad choice, but just beware of the portion sizes.

A manager at this location continues to aggressively stand against those who choose to follow health and safety guidelines, such as wearing a mask. She also continues to spread conspiracy around the vaccine. I am very concerned about the safety of the customers of this restaurant, Peel has had enough COVID. Note she is also very confrontational if your opinion is different than hers. Please exercise extreme caution when ordering from this establishment.

Rustic & Refined at it's best. The patio is charming & romantic, the food is delicious and the staff is fantastic. This is a very special place & an outstanding culinary experience!

Just did a virtual cooking class with 5 other couples. Chef Taylor gave us all some great tips and tricks. We did the Naples menu and it was so tasty and fun to make. This was a great way to spend a Saturday evening!

We recently did a group Zoom cooking class with Tyler. Not only was it a ton of fun but the food was excellent and we learned some great cooking tips and tricks!

Our work team made a delicious gnocchi lunch with Taylor guiding us. It was fun and lots of learning from how to chop fresh basil and the best way to roll your own gnocchi. Thank you Culinaria!

I participated in a virtual event. I picked up my very conveniently ‘prepared kit’ from the beautiful restaurant. I (finally) had the opportunity to learn so many cocktails, PROPERLY, that I may never have been able to! OH, they were SO good too! Michelle even explained why drinks come in particular glasses. I can’t wait to do it again!

Heart House Hospice had the pleasure of being hosted by the Culinaria Restaurant for a virtual cooking experience as part of our staff retreat. Chef Taylor was excellent and we made a Garlic Cream Sauce, Herbed Tomato Sauce and Gnocchi in two hours! We enjoyed the experience and were able to eat the 'fruits of our labour' for lunch. Chelsea Scott was wonderful to work with and during these Covid lockdown it went wonderfully well.

I had an amazing experience with Culinaria as part of my Team Retreat day. Chef Taylor was engaging and extremely skilled. He helped us create an absolutely delicious lunch and was very engaging as well as wonderful to work with. Can't wait for this establishment to open up so that we can go in and have a dine-in experience.

I took the virtual mixology class at Culinaria and it was amazing! Michelle led us through the creation of three cocktails and one mocktail. Ahead of the class you had the choice of gathering your own ingredients based off of a list that they provided ahead of time, or you could purchase a ready made cocktail kit with everything you need it in, which was a nice option to have!

They use special camera angles to make sure you see exactly what the instructor is doing at all times. Not only do you learn how to make cocktails, but also about the features and history of the drinks and barware. It was SO much fun and such a good way to connect with people through the screen! I can't wait to try one of their cooking classes next:) Thanks again Michelle!

A big thank you to Culinaria and team. We participated in their Virtual Cooking Classes and would most definitely recommend this fun and engaging activity to anyone who is interested to have a fantastic meal while enjoying other's company. The food was excellent and well-organized upon arrival, not to mention good quality in each and every ingredient. The team was an absolute pleasure to work with - both responsive and knowledgable. The Chef gives many great tips and bits of wisdom sprinkled throughout the entire experience. Expect to walk away feeling like a 5-star chef!

Despite the restrictions in place because of Covid, Culinaria has gone above and beyond! They’ve adapted really well, complying with restrictions, and still letting diners experience the restaurant we miss and love!

I recently attended a virtual mixology class which was so fun! If this is an indicator of how the other classes are, I’ll definitely have to check out more. They also make it really easy and provide the ingredients you need.

I had a lot of fun making the drinks and the host (ops/GM, Michelle) taught us all so much about bartending and the history of the drinks we made.

I can’t wait to go back in person once dining restrictions are lifted! Such an amazing time.

I have been to this venue many times, I have taken their team-building course, I have taken friends and family there fore special occasions, and I am now partaking in their curbside service. The restaurant, the staff, the experience, and the food are all excellent. I love the ambiance within the restaurant, the staff is always extremely courteous, and the food is outstanding. Whether you want to partake in their chicken parm, their kale caesar, or their burger (a personal favourite), you can't go wrong no matter what you pick. I cannot recommend highly enough this restaurant - do yourself a favour and experience Culinaria - you won't be disappointed. Also, loved their Marketplace - I got the Mimosa kit, the bread, and the jams, and it was all great!

We had our work holiday party with Culinaria, via a virtual cooking class! It was so much and so delicious. Chef Mike and partner Stefani were engaging the whole time. Looking forward to having you host future events with us:)

Amazing service! I was able to send a wonderful and hot lunch to my client's office with the amazing service provided by Culinaria. Lunch was delivered on time and with ease on my end. My client was very happy with the quality of the food and I will definitely use the the amazing services of Culinaria and the staff again to treat my clients to lunch.

This restaurant gives wonderful service as well as tasty food. My favourite restaurant in the city. The food served rapidly and the prices are fair. I recommend this place.

It's our second year hosting our Company Christmas Party here and we will be back next year! Michelle and Chelsea were wonderful to work with to plan our event and menu right down to custom hors d'oeuvres. The waitstaff was wonderful, the food was excellent, and our guests were happy and satisfied. One of our guests ordered a Chicago rare filet mignon and couldn't stop raving about how perfectly it was cooked. Thanks Culinaria for a wonderful event and we will be back next year.

My wife and I went there for a couple's cooking class and must say it was very good! The staff the chef's were awesome! Recommended for anyone that wants to do the cooking class!

The staff and service were impeccable and the food was exceptional. Culinaria was the place for our staff Christmas party last night and we had a wonderful time. I'd say the dressing on my fiancee's salad was the only thing lacking slightly, but a quick request for a bit more was all she req'd. Thanks for a beautiful, family like evening and hope to be back to visit again soon.

Had our holiday party there today, for 11 people. The wait staff were phenomenal, the corporate room we were in was perfect for us, and decorated so nicely. We had a chef's soup that was smooth and touched all sides of the tongue so delicately. There were no complaints from anyone at the event, which is shocking with that many bodies. Even the sorbet with the fresh fruit was the perfect end to the meal. Everyone was full and completely satisfied. Thank you for a wonderful venue and fantastic food. What a great spot, definitely would want to go back again. Even for a date night.

Wow, just wow. We were seated in the upstairs South loft (12 people total). APPETIZERS:
Antipasto platter, Beef stuffed mushroom cap, Mushroom duxelles bruschetta and Vegetable samosas were very good.
Sweet chili grilled shrimp were very spicy.
Mini crab cakes were ok.
Grilled lamb lollipops were outstanding! Highly recommend to get them!
MAIN MEAL SELECTION (we took the bronze package) :
House green salad was really nice with a really tasty dressing.
Grilled NY steak, baked tilapia, chicken parmesan, linguine Primavera were outstanding. The vegan Moroccan lentils were good.
Fresh fruit and berries for dessert were amazing! I don't know how they got such sweet fruit! The vanilla ice cream is one of the best I have ever had.
Overall. Beautiful place, amazing food and service. Worth the drive.

Great meal. Service was less then expected from a fine dining restaurant. Little touches on the tables were shocking.paper sugar packets as you would find in a diner.

Been here many times and love the vibe. Eager staff perfecting their trade and a real desire to deliver a quality dining experience. I've also had the behind the scenes "chef" experience where you are taught some of the tricks of the trade. I STILL use the skills I learned in the kitchen that night - and it was fun!

Tell everyone, what a great place for a TEAM builder and an awesome establishment to learn how to make a 3 course meal in an awesome environment. The staff was great helpful and supportive in helping our team have a great team builder while learning some amazing cooking techniques. We all indulged in a fantastic Dinner. Attended a baptism reception here. The food and service was amazing! The restaurant is a wonderful place to host a small reception /event in an intimate beautiful setting.

Pretty venue with good food and nice staff! The washrooms are not accessible for wheelchairs though so keep that in mind!

Came here for a intimate wedding and it was great, the staff was able to accomodate any of the requests we had and were very friendly.

We recently hosted our intimate wedding at Culinaria.

We received so many rave reviews! From the venue, food and the service. The staff was beyond attentive, and accommodating to everyone. The only thing that didn't seem to workout during dinner was the gluten free pasta for the two guests but outside of that, everything was fantastic.

Natalia was great communicating and coordinating with our DJ to coordinate the timing of everything.
Bar tenders were amazing, everyone and everything was absolutely perfect! It was the romantic feel we wanted with nothing too fancy. No one went home hungry that's for sure which was exactly what we wanted. And we had so much food at the late night table the staff was nice enough to pack it up so we could bring it back for the after party we had at our home. The venue for our wedding was absolutely perfect and we are so happy we choose Culinaria to host our special day. We would not have done it any other way.

Chelsea was amazing and accommodating to everything we needed and wanted. Thank you so much for making our vision of our day come to reality.
