Culligan

We've had the water system for a few years, and while we enjoy the benefits of soft/filtered water, the company itself is very difficult to work with. Lots of rules around the "complimentary" salt and how it can be received. Even with all the benefits, if i wasn't in a contract, I'd cancel and get a water filtration/softening elsewhere. They don't seem to listen to their customers feedback either because anyone who I've spoken to that has this system says the exact same thing.

I've recently had a five filter reverse osmosis water purifiing system installed, and, although only a week, I am very pleased. The water tastes, and looks, better than the spring water I was getting. The water specialist, Jason Kaufman, answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. He went above and beyond. The installer Kyle was pleasant, quick and efficient. Cleaned up any mess, and took any garbage with him. I don't hesitate to give them both five stars. Thanks guys!

We just had our water softener and filter system installed. Matthew was amazing to work with. He provided us with all the information and tested the water before and after. We have seen significant improvement in our children’s skin and the water tastes so refreshing! It is definitely worth it!

I am a homeowner with a well water. This is my first experience with using Well Water. Lots of questions to be answered and lot of information to be clarified. I called Culligan and they booked an appointment for water quality check.
Matthew Elms was the representative who visited my house. I had a detailed review of my current /existing water softening and filteration system which I had minimum understanding. Matthew was very kind enough to define the purpose and function of each and how performance can be improved.
Being in Engineering field myself I was able to understand his recommendation and decided to buy a fiteration/ Iron removal tank and a RO system. Installation was quick and a follow up visit by Matthew for Water quality checks. Water quality has improved a lot (95%) which is great. I would recommend this system

I got water softener and filter installed last month. The service was amazing and I’m super impressed with the services provided by Daykota. She visited after the installation to make sure that everything is working fine.

We purchased a new smart water softener from Matthew. He was very knowledgeable and polite. He answered all our questions promptly. The installation process was quick and seamless. The new system detected a leaky toilet in the house and also improved water flow and overall water quality. We also appreciated his great sense of humour and customer service. Daykota was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful with the water testing, sales and follow-up after installation of our Culligan water softener. I can't recall the installers name, but he too was very professional, polite, quick and clean with the removal of our old non Culligan softener and installation of new Culligan. I recommend Culligan!

Absolute rip off. They Charge $27/month for maintenance and only provides 8 complimentary salt bags a year. If you need more they charge you almost double the price due to delivery. Total scammers. Just avoid theses thieves.

Recently I had a water softener installed by Culligan. The experience was fantastic, Daykota came promptly to show me the available options along with the install of the until. The follow up to ensure the unit was working correctly was also a really nice touch. I highly recommend Daykota she was extremely pleasant, explanation and options were explained extremely clear. Your support said if I cant be home for the delivery guy, then get your friend or neighbor to help. Funny logic. They work too?

A+ isn’t enough credit to give this team! We had Matt come out and gave the best customer service! We have well water off grid and he came up with all the solutions and at a great price point! We love our new water system and the Reverse osmosis water is the best! Highly recommend to any one! Convenient, personal service! Thanks again!

Everyone, beware of the worst customer service and Bad business structure!
Purchased house in Bayshore village six years ago with installed Culligan water softner system.
System was Not operational (probably years), however Old couple was charged every month for Dead equipment.
We made a request and after several attempts equipment was fixed? ! Not replaced and we agreed to extend the contract.
6 years later company never provided and service to check or service equipment, however they did raised monthly charges twice, last year and this year Without Any explanations or notification!
Just charging more our bank account!
In April we decided to finally end this nonsense and canceled Culligan contract in writing! Now we facing an unbelievable bad customer service- to remove Culligan equipment from our house!
Schedule, reschedule and no show of plumber from Culligan for equipment removal. There is absolutely No business communication from Culligan (Barrie) office!
We made every effort to solve this in reasonable matter, however it looks like it's need to be handled by our lawyer.
We will share our experience on every public media to protect people from the same mistakes- STAY AWAY FROM CULLIGAN!

Bought a house that had a 50 year old rental unit in it, they charged 118$ for 6 months until we cancelled, had to also pay for them to retrieve their garbage unit and they would not let us dispose of it ourselves. Scam

Edit after response from Culligan: No. The account was under my wife’s name or the previous owner.account # 0315181. Are you “Culligan water cond Barrie inc”? That is what is on the statement. Is what I described not your typical practice?

Joseph was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He explained everything very clearly. He goes above and beyond in order to be available if you have any concerns. Definitely would recommend his service to anyone.
