We are really impressed with not only the quality of work done by Darren at Cummins Upholstery but the efficiency and the time frame in which our 6 dinning chairs were reupholstered, the friendly service and attention to detail in which the work was done. We phoned him on a Saturday dropped a chair on the following Monday and the other 5 three days later and had them all back a week later. Wow very impressive. We will definitely go there again and also recommend him to our friends. Good Job

A frustrating experience unfortunately; I initially reached out at the end of January 2022 about getting a window seat cushion done. Visited Darren in February, wasn't able to find a sample with the in-house fabrics so looked online with same fabric manufacturer. On Feb 14 I e-transferred a $200 deposit and provided a template of the window seat; Darren confirmed the fabric I selected would work and would go from there. When I visited in person initially, he said 3-4 weeks. I began following up at the end of March to check status and was advised he didn't have the fabric yet. I was disappointed but with Covid, gave the benefit of the doubt and asked if he could keep me posted moving forward. Next follow up at end of April and it has been crickets. No answer to 2 phone messages I have left or additional emails. I have since asked for my deposit back but again, no response. I thought it might be because he moved (found that out online, otherwise would have had no idea). Again, gave benefit of the doubt, still haven't heard back. While I know it is only a window seat cushion, the lack of communication and now the fact that I have given a $200 deposit and not received a product or a refund has been super disappointing. I've never bothered to leave a review before anywhere as I know small business owners struggle from time to time and I don't like slamming people but now, feel this is a buyer beware situation. If you are planning on buying from Cummins Custom Upholstery, beware. I hope the $200 I donated to this business made a difference somewhere.sigh.

Darren was excellent to work with. He re did my trailer seats, cushions and valances and did a great job. Super quick as well because I was time limited. Highly recommend

I left my couch with Darren and he never touched it for over a year. He always promised to get to it but on visits I could see it was not even started. When I finally gave up and went to get my couch back, he had lost the cushions. He promised my deposit back, but always canceled when I was on my way to get it. I offered him a payment plan and he failed to honor this as well. An all around nightmare you should avoid.
