Cyber City Comix

I didn't like visiting this store for a few reasons; to start it off, every single item had dust all over it (the shelves, the figures, the floor, everything) that immediately grossed me out. That fact alone made me decide within the first few minutes that I didn't want to buy anything. As I was shopping around I noticed the owner/employee's friends were just standing around, talking about some sus topics; they were talking loud enough for every single person in the store to hear, making the atmosphere uncomfortable. Additionally, they had a lot of their figures out of box in their dusty display cases, whilst they were charging way too much than you would find it for sealed, brand new. And lastly, we were only asked if we needed help finding anything when we were on our way out the door.
All in all, there were some cool items, but my first impression had me wanting to leave asap.

The store worker was super nice and well versed with the inventory, when i came in with a list of potential items to purchase as a gift, he helped me go through the list to see what they had. I found what i was looking for!

Been going here for probably 20 years. Best shop in the city. Owner is knowledgeable, friendly and fair. I always refer everyone to pay them a visit.

Cramped but chock full of comics both old (ish) and new. Not a place for vintage collectors but more of a new-ish comic store with a ton of Funko pops and pop culture memorabilia. Service is very courteous

If i i could rate this place higher i would.it is truly the comic book shop ive always dreamed of since i was a kid.i moved into the area about two years ago and have been so blessed to have this shop so closeby.i been exposed to so many amazing series by just coming in and browsing the shelves.add on the stellar recommendations from the amazing staff and i dont know what more i could ask for.im very lucky to have made some really awesome memories here. Cyber City Comix feels like more than just a comic book shop.its a community icon thats a must visit for all!

Great little midtown comics shop on the second floor of a strip mall. Packed with more recent backstock, I would say going back maybe 8 to 10 years? Also a very good selection of current books, much bigger than my regular shop, actually. I kind of stumbled on it while grabbing a quick lunch in the mall. Definitely worth you time to pop in and look.

Darryl has been my go to guy for comics for many many years. Always great customer service & very kind. Had stepped away from comics for a couple of years, & he still remembered my name & my pulls. Orders anything I want if he can get it. Awesome store!

I use to come here in the late 90s/early 2000s as a kid and stopped by. Still a huge selection for a relatively small store. Super friendly service.

Friendly staff and a large variety of comic books! You'll never go wrong stepping into this wonderful comic book shop. They have an amazing one time membership deal and also are really knowledgeable about all things comics! You can also check out and buy some cool manga and peruse through some figures as well. Definitely a spot to check out!

Cyber City is the best place for Comics, Hip Hop, and political/pop culture rants. The owner goes above and beyond for customer service! Team Cyber City be strivin' for perfection! Highly recommended! =)

I've become a recent shopper since I've always seen this place as a kid with parents driving to centerpoint but never actually had the chance to take a look until years later. I have to say, this place is a hidden gem in Bathurst and Steeles. The workers are an absolute joy to talk comics and gaming with. Their product is well-stocked and will often update you on upcoming releases. They're also very helpful if you're looking for a specific action figure or run of comics. Their membership is also an incredible buy-in especially if you enjoy having a collection of comics. All around, a fantastic location. Highly recommended.

Best comic book store ever, no one nearby equals them. Trust me I've been to every comic store in the gta.

More for comic lovers than action figure collectors. I collect Marvel Legends and they had very few. The place was kinda cramped too.

Started collecting comics at the beginning of 2022. Being from Woodbridge I am very limited in real comic book stores, and one day when I couldn’t get my hands on The Amazing Spider-Man #87 I started searching and quickly found Cyber City Comix. From the first time I went there I loved it, they have plenty of comics ranging from brand new to even last years issues. I am a big funko pop collector and this place has all kinds of regular Funko Pops, and also exclusive Funko Pops for very reasonable prices. They offer a membership in which you can pre order and put comics on hold which I also just signed up for yesterday. Lastly, the dynamic of the staff is amazing, they are very friendly and very helpful! To conclude, this is the best comic store and although it’s a little hard for me to get there as often, it’s definitely worth the trip!

Giving 2 stars because as a first tile client I was very dissapointed, I definitely was excited to recieve an order to gift as a belated xmas gift but apparently my order went through even while they were out of stock, and the website wasn't up to date. I got refunded my money after a few days and after contacting them.

Staff there are clueless about what they have in store and all they sell are reprint of older comics and newer stuff and no back issues! And the only older stuff there is just a few older comics up the wall.plus it is expensive.

pull list service is very reliable, sales during the year give deep discounts, weekly books include obscure lesser known books. Just a cool place to visit. Thanks Darryl and staff for another great year with Cyber City Comix!

Been going to this shop for years. Has some of the best workers who are very knowledgeable with their stock. They are very helpful and will always help find what is needed even if they might not have it. Definitely recommend for someone looking at new issues or just modern comic books in general. Also have a pretty good funko pop selection. Can’t praise them enough, they really are just above and beyond compared to most other comic shops. I always feel welcome the moment I step in.

Great and very helpful staff. Very chill atmosphere with a lot of different kinds of hobbies covered. As a comics fan, and recently getting into collecting figures this store does a great job of both. Has a nice manga selection as well considering it is not the main focus of the store. As a manga fan its nice to see that genre not get neglected. Overall it is truly a wonderful place to go to for your books and other special hobbies.

Best comic shop in the city. Decided to order some comics and emailed to see if they would be available the next day for pickup. Darryl was so kind and responded even off hours. The comics were in perfect condition and the service was the best I've ever received. Didn't get to actually go inside the store, but pictures make it seem awesome. I'll definitely shop here again next time I need some comics!

Great place! From their funko's and collectibles to of course their comics and knowledge, this place is the one of the best places to get your comics

Excellent service. I'm very happy with their ethics. I've gone to so many comic book stores from Montreal, Ottawa, and Toronto and this is one of the two comic book stores that really cater to comic book collectors. Other stores would hoard hot books to resell at inflated prices or would have sold them already to speculators but Cyber City Comix would actually try to ensure that you get at least one copy to read as a comic collector and reader.
I'm a loyal customer because Daryl will actually try not to let you down. I'm eternally grateful.

Amazing and patient staff here at Cyber City Comix with a wide selection of comics, Funko pops, anime figures and everything pop culture. The owner is also super friendly and happy to help you find grails for your collection! Go in and spend awhile exploring wall to wall!

The staff here are always lovely and helpful. I called in ahead of time about a particular comic, and they held onto it for me until I arrived. Very helpful as well in managing a pull list. The shop itself is always nice to visit when it's quieter since it is a bit on the smaller side, but everything is well organized and easy to look through.

Best comic store in Toronto. I’ve been shopping at Cyber City since I was a child back when they were at Dufferin and Steeles. Well organized and easy to find what you want.

Nice place overall. Most things are easy to find. Great overall selection of books and merchandise like funko pops etc. Only complaint was the dog that lives in the store. Personally, I'm a dog lover but not sure about the idea of having it full time in the store. I brought a friend who I didn't know had pet allergies until we drove all the way there and he had to wait in the car. Was pretty unfortunate. The dog also barked literally at every customer including myself which was a bit annoying as well. That was my only complaint.

Staff was knowledgeable. Unfortunately your local comic shop is a dying breed with the introduction of Ebay and other sources to get your comics. My biggest problem is their inability to move in the direction of CGC slabbed comic books.

Great little store, they sometimes have a warehouse sale at their storage location and can usually get good deals.

This is the best comic shop with the best staff and owner. I moved out of the area but still keep my pull list and go as often as I can when I'm near by. If I need something this is the first place I call or visit. This will be my #1 place for comics for as long as Darryl owns it. Pop in and check it out when you can and ask about the membership!

I was really into comics about 20 years ago and then life happens. I recently started buying comics occasionally. Cyber City Comix is one of the first places I walked into to find out what's new with my childhood heros.

When you haven't been to a comic book store in years it can be overwhelming. My old favorites have new titles and many reboots. There are new characters and story lines. It can be a little difficult to know where to start. The guys here at Cyber City Comix were very helpful. They were able to fill me in a little about what's going on and recommended some good reads.

This is my go-to local comic shop. Small but packed with the newest released. Knowledgeable folks work here and you can easily sink into a conversation with them in regards to what they are reading and why!

Amazing collection of comics and action figures, truly a paradise for comic lovers. Plus the owner helped solve my confusion regarding which comic to buy - Batman Hush or Long Halloween. Will visit again surely!

Very nice comic shop to visit. It's clean and pretty easy to find what you want. The owner is always polite and friendly which is becoming rarer in the industry.
One thing I really appreciate about this shop is that they carry smaller press books that are uncommon to see in many shops as well as other covers that some stores charge more for like DC b covers.
I wish I lived closer or I'd make it my regular store.

Great local comic shop; I love to take my 6yo and relive my childhood through him. Great new releases, an extensive collection of comics/graphic novels, and a very decent selection of figurines. If Funko is your thing, look here as well. Outside of a small cabinet of Magic the Gathering decks, nothing in the way of gaming (D&D, etc) but they were very helpful to give me some local suggestions. Great crew here, support your local shop!

Great comic shop, the owner Darryl is very cool. Buying the membership was a great decision - setup the pull list and can get the books that I want without any hassle.
