Love this place! The food is amazing, the stuff is always nice and helpful. We love to have dinner here sometimes

Worst experience! RUDE RUDE RUDE! We have been coming here for years! Always had a great experience and even thought it would be great to come with friends. When it came time to pay, we paid by cash. Our friends who paid separately didn’t have a huge tip (still gave a tip) but I guess not to the standard of the man who took their money. They didn’t want to tip a large amount as they found a hair in their food and didn’t have the best experience. He had the rudest reaction. When in reality the whole table tipped over 30 dollars for what was subpar experience. Never did the man ask how our experience was, If he did he may have found we found a hair in some of the food. Yet we still as a table gave a good tip. I felt very uncomfortable by the whole situation and it was very disrespectful. A tip is a tip, not a requirement. We loved this place and have spent thousands of dollars there over the years and have become regulars. We will never come here again. Very very very disappointed!

Sashimi was sub par, server was very friendly, funny robot server was cute but the quality of the sushi has gone down. The chinese food options were good though!

Bad customer service and Alisa she served us was very rude for tip and she is push us for extra tip.

The food is excellent, customer service is excellent. Friendly servers and they serve the food quickly. We love it! Rating should be 5*

It was 6: 44pm on a Friday evening and I just got to the quick stop location at Aurora go station to drop off my package. I couldn’t find the Purolator truck and saw it leaving and head to the street. It was supposed to be open till 7: 00pm however it left way earlier than closing hours!

We decided to try out this all you can eat restaurant for the first time because our son was excited about the robot they have who serves the food. Unfortunately, our overall experience was quite disappointing.

Firstly, we were disappointed with the unfriendly attitude of the staff. Their lack of warmth and hospitality made us feel unwelcome from the moment we stepped in.

Moreover, the cleanliness of the restaurant was a major concern. The inside floor was dirty, and it gave the impression that cleanliness was not a priority for the establishment. Additionally, the washrooms were not clean enough.

Towards the end of our meal, we encountered another unpleasant experience. One of the staff members approached us with the bill and informed us that we had to pay extra for the food that remained on our plates and that we had to take it home. This information was not communicated to us beforehand, and we found it to be quite rude and unprofessional. It would have been better if this policy had been clearly mentioned before we ordered our food.

Overall, our visit to this all you can eat restaurant had its ups and downs. While we appreciated the opportunity to try various Japanese, Chinese dishes, the lack of friendliness from the staff, the unclean environment, and the surprise additional charges left us with a negative impression. We hope that the restaurant can address these issues and improve their overall customer experience in the future.

This time was my third time to be there but also my last time. The server was too rude to us. She told us you”must” take the left over and you “have to pay” for that. Seriously? What that means “ALL YOU CAN EAT”? In overall, horrible service, and every time the server was rushing us to finish the meal. We felt very uncomfortable, so we wanted to leave…. Will not go back again in future. Very disappointed!

Our party ate here last weekend. Food and service was fine. We left the restaurant and were going to the car when my 4 year old granddaughter said she needed to go to the potty, so her mother tried to return to the restaurant to take her to the washroom, but was refused entry. That's the appreciation that this establishment has for it's customers who spent over $500 in one sitting. Will not be returning.

The food is delicious, hot and fresh. A really great experience regardless if going in a smaller or larger group / family. Patrons order off a tablet and the food is delivered via a robot shortly after. It's hot, fresh and tastes great. The dishes are smaller, like a tapas, which means you can order lots of choices and sample a wide variety of good. I highly recommend

The was my first time at this buffet. When entering the restaurant there was no greeting of welcome from the old man and was quickly asked if you we had an reservation. Told to have a seat maybe 10 to 15mins wait.
Food was okay and came out quickly.
There was about 2 items that was missed. Coconut yogurt and beef tataki was good. There was a big difference between the female server vs the tall male servers. I noticed the male server actually communicate to you on your order what they are and says enjoy each time they bring the food. The female servers don't talk much or care. If it was not because of the tall male server for his exceptional service I wouldn't had tip 15%. Also the seat where we sat was very dark and hard to see the color of your food. They should revisit the lighting. When we left and pass by the bar area to exit there was no thank you and bye from the staff there. I realized at that point I shouldn't had tip them 15%. Gonna go to mandarin next time.

Came here for Mother’s Day. Had a reservation and was really looking forward to it. Ordered mostly rolls, sushi and sashimi. Not all pictured.

Food: an OK selection, WAY too much sauce on everything. I like the sauce, but it’s way too much on way too many of the rolls. Some odd mixes of sauce. I wish they’d just left the food the way it was without sauce. It adds nothing and I literally had to scrape half of it off because there was so much. On the torched/box rolls, there is WAY too much rice.

Price: inflated for what you get. Though the atmosphere is nice, I’m not sure what you’re paying for other than maybe the robot that delivers food? It didn’t deliver ours so I can’t speak to it at all.

Service: 2 items that we ordered didn’t come, our waitress was quite dismissive, but relatively quick, and when we were finishing up, we started our dessert orders (but didn’t finish), and she took the iPad, sent the orders, and closed us out, without saying a word. We couldn’t add to our desert order, we wanted to wait it out for a reason, but she decided we were done. We were in the restaurant a total of 50 minutes, and our bananas came way before the ice cream and before some of our last sushi.

Other: my napkin was dirty when I sat down, and my partners plate was dirty. Women’s washroom hand dryer wasn’t working and there were no paper towels. One washroom was out of service.

Amazing ambiance and food. The AYCE lunch had whole mackerel and several shrimp dishes on it. The rolls were delicious and there was bao.

The atmosphere was good, the servers didn't speak that much. The food was the worst I've ever had in Aurora Newmarket. Save your money. Go somewhere else.

I was hesitant to try this place due to some reviews but decided to give it a try. I’m happy we did as we had a great experience celebrating Father’s Day. The place was full but service and food was good. Some items took longer thank others but it’s understandable for how busy it was. No issue with service as some reviews noted. Our servers were kind and helpful.

Honestly I love Cynthia’s but I was a little disappointed at the food options and quality compared to their main chain restaurants.
I drive almost an hour thinking it’s was gonna be like Cynthia’s main chain but over all the service was on point! The Restaurant was very clean and tidy & it’s also Kid friendly.

I have been to this restaurant many times, but this time around everything was excellent! My husband and I have probably been to every all you can eat sushi place in the area and this one is top notch! They even have a robot a server! Desert was excellent. Please try to coconut ice cream and lycheeee dessert! Yummmmm! My new favourite spot must visit!

Horrible service, every time the server was rushing us to finish the meal. We felt very uncomfortable, we wanted to leave…. Also way over priced! Very dirty washrooms! Also I asked for a spoon, the spoon was so dirty it’s disgusting.

My family and I have been going to Cynthia's Paradise for many years, its our favorite place. But in the last 2 years, the service has gone down. They used to be very careful and attentive but now they do the bare minimum and expect high tips. Hope they get a wake up call soon.

Very bad quality all you can eat sushi, it's not the same as before. Patrick was rude and unsanitary. Never will go back again.
Highly don't recommend this place

They refused to change our table when we asked for, also cleaned up our table one hour after we arrived without even asking if we were done. They didn’t explain how the robot works. Lack of communication. I would give zero star if I could. Manager was nice and said will correct our team however I won’t return again.

The food was not really the greatest. Place is not clean. Staff half hearted friendly. Only the robot server gave us some amusement. For 3 people we paid $160 that's including 10% tax. Very expensive for food that is not really delicious. The size of each meal is small. You have to order tons of food to equate the money you will be spending. And that is enough for servers to become grouchy. I will not invest my money in this restaurant ever again. There are other restaurants far better than this restaurant. For me, Maki Sushi in Stouffville is the better counterpart for this type of service.

This was my first time coming here and I was disappointed. I was at table 91, the waitress demanded a better tip and wouldn’t let us leave without tipping more. Half our food was missing, and our waitress poured water into are used Coke Cola glass.
