This no longer the beautiful peaceful park it used to be, thanks to the extreme popularity.

The moment you drive in, you'll face aggressive staff, have to sign rules etc. As soon as I got to the campsite, before I even walked out of the car, this security lady from Commissioners told me to put the permit up right away.

The firewood is now a "bulk" system. You have to pay $13 a day (of course for the whole duration of your stay). Which in theory can work. But at the yard you'll find leftovers kindling because there's no check and the good firewood is already gone. There's not even a roof and the wood was all wet.

Lovely hike around the lake because it's preserved almost the way it was 30 or more years ago. Please keep it the same natural trails Vs man-made trails thankyou

I camped on Halloween weekend and practically had the place to myself. Gorgeous campground with cedars, firs, birches, and oaks. Shower facilities are great, but for some reason the entrances are not illuminated at night. Be careful. The tables/benches are at shin level and can’t be seen on a dark night.

Stayed in the Tamarac section. Great forest with lots of things to do that comes free with your pass, Singing Sands, interpretive center, the Grotto. There is an activity center the now with basketball, volleyball and soccer nets. The bathrooms were really clean.

Great camping experience! It was easy to make the reservation online and the price for the camping site was cheap (only $30 for one night). The camp site was spacious, had two tables and a campfire. It also had a lot of privacy, although not all sites can provide that. It fits two large tents and two cars. What I love about this place is that you have easy access to washrooms, showers and community areas. In addition, the view is breathtaking! Behind my tent was the lake, and wow! Only 20 minutes away is the Grotto, and the view there is absolutely amazing too! This was an incredible experience, and I look forward to come back next year and stay at least two nights!

We enjoyed camping at Cyprus lake. Everyone seemed to follow the quiet hours. The trailer sites were nice, but offered not a ton of privacy, but better than other places we've been. The little beach was very nice. Just in general, very enjoyable trip. The sunsets were beautiful. The staff were nice. I had some issues that unfortunately could not be resolved as I had hoped, however they were as accommodating as possible and everything worked out in the end
