It was a work of magnificence!

I used D& F handyman service to finish a small (less than 30 square feet) basement laundry room including drywall installation, putting back electric outlets and painting.

Problem 1. The quality of jobs was very poor and the outcome was disappointing. Drywall surrounding windows were not evenly cut and the final touches were not appealing. See attached photos for the finishing jobs.

Problem 2. Contractors were never on time over the 3-5 days projected days. Not a single day. There was even a day they didn't show up without telling me the reason.

Problem 3. The quote got changed after the first visit and tried to charge extra for painting the ceiling which is not even high at all.

He was very unprofessional. Did not keep his promise. Took more jobs than he could handle. Purchased wrong material for the job and spoiled the work. When he realized he made a mistake and did the job poorly he started demanding more money than what was agreed upon. Left without completing the job.

Very knowledgeable! The service technician did her job very well and he also charged us with a fairly good price. I would really recommend this company to our neighbors and friends!

No complaints about the labor and repairs done but major complains about the communication with the handyman's communication and transparency with my work order.

I originally had my assigned Muhammad Shakir, scheduled to come in on a Tuesday after agreeing on an hourly rate. I thought this was when he would actually start the work and repairs that I discussed, this visit turned out to be just an assessment, this threw me off but didn't bother me much. Later that day I was given a quote and was asked to approve the work order so he can proceed with repairs Wednesday 4th March 2020. I approved and got no response and assumed his visit. Muhammad did not visit and no-showed. I tried reaching out and still no response until that evening saying he will reschedule the following day @ 6PM. Guess what? Once again another no-show and emailed Muhammad with with no response.

I called the main office the following morning and expressed my complains and was told that the handyman was finally on his way. I wish the handyman communicated this with me rather than showing up whenever he wanted. I'm writing this review because when paying for a service- communication is very important. The no-show for two days was not acceptable and showing up without notice on the third day was also not acceptable.
