Dspot is a must-visit restaurant if you're looking for unique and delicious desserts. Their mango ice cream and lotus milkshake are highly recommended, and the garnishing on their dishes and cups are very unique. They offer a wide variety of flavors, including both traditional and unique options. You can also get your ice cream in a waffle cone, a sundae, or a milkshake.
Dspot is a great restaurant with excellent service from both the front and back staff. The cooks are skilled and prepare delicious dishes, while the front staff is personable and accommodating. They are knowledgeable about the menu and make suggestions to customers. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and is perfect for a night out with friends or family. The unique garnishing on dishes and cups adds to the overall experience. If you're looking for a great dining experience, Dspot is definitely worth a visit.
Dspot is a great place to visit if you're looking for a unique dessert experience. Although their desserts are on the expensive side, they are fancy and have a very nice mix of tastes in each dessert. If you're a vegetarian, you should definitely try their veg putin. The restaurant is usually busy, so you may need to wait for some time to get a table, but it's worth it. Overall, Dspot is a great place to satisfy your sweet tooth cravings.
Tried to have desert and a coffee there tonight, it was busy but there were still open tables, after sitting there menus closed for 20 minutes the waiter came to the table next to us that was seated after us. After another 5-10 minutes we decided to leave as we felt we were not a priority. Menu looks awesome and I really wanted an Americano.
Came here on a Tues evening for a quick ice cream for my kid. Sat for ten mins just to see a family of four that came in well after us, get their order taken before me. Promptly left and picked up a Drumstick at the gas station next door, saved $15, did the job just as good
There was an issue with our table not being waited on. When it was addressed the staff took care of our experience in an amendable fashion by being timely & great servicing. + The cheesecake & warm drinks are
The hot sauce costs 2 dollars. I am not sure why hot sauce has an extra charge. Later on they said they’d charge 1 dollars. Why are the staff playing with the prices?
I was encouraged to get a mixed berry mojito instead of strawberry Italian soda. The mojito had only just three blueberries and three mints and three strawberries. I was totally ripped off by the waiter’s suggestion so I did not bother tipping.
I ordered their Philly loaded hotdog and the the hotdog looked like it had clinical depression.
It was barely seasoned and it was like it was boiled in water only and not grilled. The onions were slobbishly added.
I think D Spot should focus on sweets only.
There is no shame on downgrading to be a cafe/sweets shop only.
Dropped in for dessert and ordered the crepe with pistachio ice cream and white chocolate drizzle/bits. The food was great and delicious, decor is ok but service could be a little better - dishes came separately and was a little hard to call staff. Will go back and do recommend.
We came here for some desserts the experience was amazing, the food was great I had Ferraro Roche milk shake and tiramisu cake with ice cream was delicious. We got server Shehzad he was helpful and friendly. Cool place will definitely come back to try more things.
The food is always so delicious! The staff are quite nice too, even if you go on the weekend, its not that busy. The decor is really pretty, but oh my god! The food is even better! They have halal options as well. Their chicken is machine cut so be careful. Other than that, I tried the chocolate donut waffle ice cream thingy, (forgot the name lol!), and it was absolutely delicious! Shout out to the chefs!
Well its one of most wonderful place to expirience in the city.little waited but verfy humble n fairly treat by management.help to find best items as suitable to our favor.enjoy food and services.its delicious and hygienic.looking to visit frequently.my best wishes to entire team of D spot desert cafe.
D-Spot should change their name to S-Spot because Sehaj was the greatest waiter of all time. The ice cream was great, but the service was phenomenal. His soft-spoken greetings and his mild-mannered demeanour was sweeter than chocolate itself. Move aside Willy Wonka, Sehaj is here.
I gave one star as I cannot give it zero.worst place to go with family.disrespectful and very mean place and very poor customer service. I advise people not to visit this place especially if u going with family
I've visited a few times over the past few years. I tend to favour smaller desserts but D Spot has something for every size of appetite.
The desserts are tasty and usually not super sweet. Most recently I tried milkshakes.
Now I've been on the hunt for a good milkshake for sometime and always disappointed by the so-called shake cafés. Sometimes it becomes a matter of too many options and none of them quite premium as advertised.
D Spot shakes are not this way at all and taste amazing! I tried the Ferrero and Pistachio shakes, both were absolutely delicious! Since I ordered it through Uber, I'm sure the presentation in person is much more appealing but it was great even as takeaway items.
I am very hopeful D Spot maintains this quality because I think I've found my go-to shakes café!
Good location surrounded by plenty of restaurants. Go to place after your food! Following SOPs and good service. Should’ve add more lotus spread on the crepe.
Krupesh and Dhrumit are the best servers ever. They made our experience in D-spot outstanding.amazing food and service definitely coming back for the food and for Krupesh and Dhrumit
This place is very good to visit.i tried their crepes (dont make me blush) and nachos along with strawberry shake.i am totally inlove with how the crepes were served.i see how staff was very polite and experienced.service was 10/10 except the fact they did not have pancakes or donuts.other than that i had an awesome experience.
I never write reviews, but after going to this sorry excuse for a desert place I felt the need to (comparing this experience to Demetres, which is both cheaper and miles better)
1- Presentation is lacklustre and look like they just threw everything on the plate. 2- the only mediocre item was the waffle itself. I could buy more premium toppings from Dollarama (brownies are garbage, cookie dough is garbage, and I wouldn’t even serve their ice cream to a dog). 3- ridiculously expensive relative to quality. With regards to both dining experience and food items. 4- plastic utensils, foam cups (what is this a 2yr old’s birthday? !) 5- service was very poor, they could go for a hospitality lesson from 8th graders
Verdict, all “good” reviews are left by people who go there because it’s Halal. Anyone who isn’t restricted by religion should go LITERALLY anywhere else.
A good spot for chipotle chicken poutine and desserts. Big up to Shazad and the rest of the crew inside the café for doing a great job in providing proper customer service.
One of the most underrated desert spots in sauga. They’re open pretty late so it’s a great destination after movies or late activities.
So many options to choose from! The pizza are a little doughy but still good. All fries are crunchy and have a great combination of sauces and meat. Hotdog is juicy and filling. Best drink is the Mango one.
My mom loves this place for the dessert while I like the fact they have more options then dessert. I'm not much of a sweets person but this place accommodates everyone
My family and I came here tonight and the wide variety of desserts to choose from is amazing. Staff was friendly and quick to serve. The desserts we got were delicious, great place to eat at.
A great place to be at Had to stay hungry the whole day so i can come here at 9pm and enjoyed such a great service from Shehzad,
And Shehzad, Again, Honestly gave us the best service, and great suggestions on what to get, cant lie i couldnt leave without ordering more food to take for my family.
Thank you so Much for the best Dessert.
Please do Ask for Shehzad to assist you. You wont regret it
My first visit to dspot Mississauga Me & my family went to dspot which is located in Mississauga & from then it has became my favorite place. As soon as I entered dspot, the sweet & pleasant aroma just made me feel so excited. Cause the smell is so amazing then how will be the food. The atmosphere was amazing & specially the interior, the colors it was just like mini Charlie & the chocolate factory. There were like 2 to 3 chocolate fountain flowing, big chocolate bar half wall, chocolatety painted wall like chocolate is going to drip, everything just like mini factory. Everything here is like so colorfull table to chair the lighting and specially the wall which have colorfull frame having dessert imoji was really cool. And the foodography on the wall is adorable. The light & pleasant atmosphere, the place was crowded but the staff was taking care of each & every customer. Food the food and specially the dessert. It was like a dream. We just ordered many things cause we were like 12 people. But some of my favorite was butter chicken poutine, chocolate lava cake, waffles were great, & the best was pistachio milkshake with reach pistachio ice cream was just amazing the pizza was also really good you can try butter chicken pizza. Being a muslimah a place were you can just have halal & that also so yummy food just made my day. And the portion size of food is also good. Me & my family had great time there. After that visit this is my third visit & you always fill like the first visit. We just enjoyed a lot. Here you can go with family, friends & anyone always & amazing time will be spend. And do not forget to try pistachio milkshake
Overpriced for the food and quantity. We tried the Lotus crepe with ice cream, and it definitely was overpriced. It needs more biscuits, much much more fillings, and more ice cream. However, ambience is great and very family friendly. Servers are really nice and polite.
If you're thinking about going here, always remember to bring some dish soap, water, and sponges, because they don't clean their dishes the amount of times I've gotten glasses of water with lipstick marks and filth on them is unbelievable literally asked for a new glass once and got back the same one thank god they closed down indoor dining for covid cause I guarantee this place would be single handedly responsible for 90% of the cases in Mississauga. Don't go here not worth it.
No one was wearing a mask and my order was completely wrong I paid for extra stuff ontop of my order and I got a completely different waffle. Also it was a really sloppy display of food and rude customer service
Very friendly staff, clean facility, wide menu options, great tasting desserts! I think they need more savoury food options so people can get a meal and dessert they do have pizzas/hotdogs/ poutine but maybe pastas/burgers/chicken strips etc.would make this place even better!
Nice place of delicious and fresh desserts with so many food options. Can call it the best cafe of desserts and snacks. Will definitely order more from menu. Service is nice and fast and staff is soft spoken.
It's quite big in there. So when it's crowded, it gets loud. The washroom downstairs is really humid. In terms of menu items, there are too many items. They can definitely try to simplify their menu. Also, almost everything is too sweet to a point that it is cloying. I think they need food items that are more balanced in flavour
Miss dining in here, hopefully post covid. Still a great place to go to for curbside pick up. Love the portion sizes and service. My brownie ate your crepe is a favourite! Warm family vibe for a splendid night out.
Would love to see them progress to making in-house freshly made cakes in the future! Similar to the freshly made brownies and desserts.
These guys don't even know how to make online ordering work on their website. I couldn't pay online and ended up wasting time with unnecessary frustration to go through telephone ordering. Very disappointing during COVID if they can't keep up with e-commerce.
The location is pretty cozy and hippie (very instagramable). The staff are super friendly and efficient, really good customer service. Items are a bit pricey but they’re well worth the serving portions that you get. It’s a really nice place to grab dessert and satisfy your sweet tooth. It gets pretty busy on the weekend.
I have been to DSpot before with the seating inside enjoyed it but this time I went to this location to pick it up I ordered “something to talk about” got less ice cream which is the main taste and order another “chilled to the cone” the waffle was very stale. I would never do takeout anymore
The decor was so pretty inside! I liked that they had food in addition to desserts. Had the Philly Steak Poutine and Mango Milkshake; the poutine was great but the milkshake was not to my liking.didn't taste good. I felt bad for one of my friends because our server didn't get his order right and forgot his drink. His order was remade and delivered before the drink so we knew he forgot and reminded him which is okay, I get that it happens. But we didn't get an apology, unfortunately.
Something that really bothered me was servers texting while delivering their food. I was taking a look around and noticed a few people doing it including our server. They'd be carrying their food in one hand and texting in the other while walking around. Our friends made some small talk with our server because he seemed to be having a bad day, but didn't get any smiles throughout our experience. Overall our first experience was decent.
I love this place.the design is beautiful.the service was great and the FOOOD. I've never been a fan of poutine but this place changed my mind.and the dessert is heavenly.would diffenately recommend it!
I have been a frequent customer of dspot and always leave with a pleasant experience. Their servings are satisfyingly large, and the servers accommodate any requests you may have to customize the food to your liking. I am especially impressed by the prayer space located in the basement floor, which is a rare find at a restaurant. Shout out to Kat who was our awesome server for the night!:)
Amazing! I forget the name of the server - he is studying to become an engineer. We had waffles, with brownie pieces, hot chocolate and this espresso ice cream. The nacho poutine is also reallllllly good! I wasn't too fond of the NY Cheese Cake, but overall - a great place to eat.ittle pricey.
