This hopefully provides enough symbolism that the service was better than the milkshakes and the shakes were great! Been a few times and definitely will be back!

So clean and organized place. They might take little long time to get the order, but I believe they wanted to make sure the order is perfectly done.
Highly recommend, very popular intersection, accessible place and free parking lots.
Very convenient for families and groups of friends.

TLDR: Overly sweet, mediocre desserts. Fast food level presentation and service, charges restaurant prices and expects 18%+ tip when you seat yourself and clean your own tables.

I had a lacklustre, confusing experience here on Saturday.
First, there's a "wait to be seated" sign at the door, so we stood there waiting for the staff. We were confused since they were setup like a fast casual restaurant that is self service. After a while, staff waved at us to go up to the counter and seat ourselves.so why the sign?
The menu looks enticing, so we ordered a classic funnel cake and a twisted tornado ice cream dessert.
The entire process was self service like a fast food chain, except for cleaning up the tables.
The chairs at our table were extremely uncomfortable so we wanted to swap tables but there was no staff to clean empty tables so we had to do so ourselves.
The funnel cake was good, checks all the boxes you'd expect, but nothing to write home about. The twisted tornado looked cheap and was disgustingly sweet. It had no depth of flavours, reminds you of an oversized mcflurry in a seasonal flavour. I had 4 bites and wanted to toss it out.
The price point of this place reminds you of Demetres, which is a sit down establishment with desserts served to you beautifully plated. D spot on the other hand, charges $10-20 pp for fast food quality dessert and service.
As the cherry on top, they only allow 18%, 20%, 25% tip on the machine at the counter, appalling if you ask me. The "Other" button is broken, so I guess no tip is the only logical tip option given everything is self service anyway.

Sitting here as I write this. Empty store, 2 servers and can’t even get the basics right. They forgot our order. Served orders in cheap plastic, takeaway cutlery.

If you want an overpriced, self-service joint that provides 0 customer service then come waste your money here.

A McFlurry would have been a more enjoyable experience

An amazing first visit. Great environment. So much selection. Attentive service. Desserts are delicious. We had an amazing crepe, a yummy waffle and such great milkshakes. We will be back!

Delicious desserts, great variety, and very friendly service. I’ve been to D Spot a few times now and I enjoy it! My first time there I tried a chocolate ice cream milkshake, had a nice ice cream sundae most recently, and have tried a few other of their menu items too. This is the place to come if you have a sweet tooth! Conveniently located on Hwy. 7 in Markham, come see what you’re missing out on if you haven’t tried D Spot Desserts yet!

Better than Demetris. This place has exceeded my expectations. I was told by a friend to visit here and I must say I was impressed. The ice cream was really flavorful and not just generic. The waffle and crepe are tasty and crunchy. The toppings options are almost similar to Demetris but the taste seems to be different in a good way of course. I will be coming here over Demetris any day going forward.

You gotta try the funnel cake. Portions are large, you can probably share one thing between two people. Staff are super nice. Would come back again.

If you have cravings for delicious funnel cake, this is the place to go! Must try…. D Spot fries! It’s churros but more delicious and more convenient to share! Enjoy!

First time visiting this dessert place place and i was blown away!

With so many different desserts to try, my mind was blown, but in the end, i went for the crepe and ice coffee.

The crepe was light and fluffy and overall amazing while the coffee definitely woke me up from the delicious food.

I'm definitely making this my go-to dessert place from now on. Rock on, guys!

Was at D Spot last night with family and friends. The food was amazing. So pretty. So delicious. The service was friendly and very welcoming. I can’t say enough good things about here. I will be back now that I have found the gem!

Red velvet doesnt have much cream cheese to cake ratio but its ok. Id definitely suggest getting the milk shakes. Those were really creamy. Exactly how the flavour is descibed in the menu.

I am very impressed by the outstanding customer service and delicious dessert from this D Spot location. The staff here were very hospitable and patient, and checked in on our table to see if we needed anything else. The "My BFF" milkshake (shown in picture) had the perfect balance of strawberry and banana flavour. The "Royalty" funnel cake was very crispy and not overly sweet. 10/10 will revisit.

So I had to go up to order, wipe down my own table and they expect a tip that starts at 15%

Delicious desserts. Portion size was okay and staff was friendly. Restaurant is clean and spacious. Menu is very big with many different options.

I was really craving a Wonderland funnel cake. And this definitely satisfied my craving! So nice to have a funnel cake place so close by. Dangerous!

We got the banango and the croffle and it was delicious! Great customer service as well:) highly recommend!

Nadeem was amazing! He provided extremely fast service and was very respectful throughout our visit.

Got the vanilla soft serve in the waffle cone! It was delicious. The dessert shop was clean and the staff were all very friendly and accommodating to our large group here today.

Unlike other D Spots, there's no table service at this location, they're missing half of the regular menu selection and the desserts are overly sweet

Really delicious ice cream and cake! The funnel fries were also exceptional and the staff really lovely. Will be coming back!
