I was really disappointed with the service, food and menu. I went there after seeing so many reels and recommendations was totally disappointed.over crowded with no proper service.felt like wasted money and time. Not recommended.

Staffs were good and behaved well but understaffed.

Recently visited financial drive daal roti location I would say experience and food quality is not the same as before.
Only 2 people for outside service and even while taking order if you hesitate or changing mind they will rush you and say I have to take more orders.

I visited this restaurent with my family. Overall everything was good. I mostly like one thing that was the behaviour of my my host who served us (Manpreet kaur).

We went there for lunch buffet during weekdays from our office. Price was $14.99/person. Food was delicious.

Tandoori roti wasn't from fresh dough. The daal makhani was not great. Dont go for their panipuri (awful)

Good food, good food and good food. Alpeshbhai and their boys were great. Buffet indeed is value for money over here.

We reached on lunch time. We come to know its only buffet what we can get this time. We thought to give a try price is fair with 14$ foe buffet has veg and non veg both. Including sweets. Roti was amazing so soft and gulab jambu was delicious. It was over all good experience.

I tried malai kofta and chilli cheesse naan today it’s so delicious. Also, thanks Anisha for great sevice

It was not good and bread was hard and Spring rolls was hard tooo it was too bad experience. Not recommended

I have been a long time loyal customer of Daal roti, and my family and friends order take out and/or dine in at the financial location on big family events (birthdays, get togethers, special occasions). However, my last 3 visits over a spam of 4 months have been unpleasant in terms of quality of service, consistency on the food flavors and timing of execution.

Today I had a family gathering and thought to order from Daal roti, however after trying to call them 8 times within 40 minutes I got no answer. I then drove over to order in which they said they were unable to accommodate my special request on one of my items. I then tried to call the Watline location to see if they would accommodate, but again no answer for 20 minutes. We ended up getting pizza.

I myself am in the food industry so I understand there are some situations that occur from time to time but when it becomes consistent, it should not be overlooked. Not sure if it is a new management or ownership issue, or a training issue but I do advise to look at the comment section of each valuable customer and try to find a solution to the overall guest experience especially during peak periods. I initially was going to give a 2 Star, but ended up on a 3 after writing this review. I will continue to support Daal Roti as much as I can, however I do believe there are some area of opportunities to be looked at in order to bring back the guest experience.

Love the food here! Some my family and my favorites are harabhara kababs, cheese butter masala, paneer kala mari! Also they have the friendliest staff!

Too much oil, to the point that we had to drain it out. Average place with a bit higher prices. Better options available nearby

If the restaurant is unable to provide orders then they should cancel it rather than making people wait for more than 2 hours. Spoiled our Diwali dinner.

Tasty food and friendly people. Just we had to wait too much for the food. Other than that everything was good.

We ordered take out- 1 appetizer- cheese corn balls and 1 achari baigan. Wait time for pick up was 25 min on a Thursday evening. And when we got there they made me wait an additional 15 min! Plus it cost nearly $30 for 2 vegetarian items. The achari baigan was delicious - hence the 3rd star. The appetizer- meh. Overpriced and not worth the wait.

Amazing food, really helpful staff and definitely coming back here again. It's become a diwali tradition to come to Daal Roti each year. Definitely one of my favourite Indian restaurants here!

Our favourite restaurant for Indian food. Every dish is tasty and flavourful. Their mild is still a bit spicy but I’m getting use to it because it’s worth it!

Worst customer service ever oakville location is best from all of their locations… staff don’t know how to deal with guests.the orders was made wrong as well even after repeating 2-3 times.never happened this at their oakville location we always go there but this location omg worst

There is no half star. Worst place ever to go for dinner.after saying 45 minutes waiting time, they kept me waited for 2 hours, meantime I placed order in order to get food earlier however we still had to wait after getting table.so after 2 hour I had to leave without having food.worst customer service ever

We ordered 3 different veggie gravy all tasted same.on sunday they only had 3 staff in front.waiters were very hard-working. Management needs to higher more people.

I’ve been to lots of Indian restaurants around the city and the best one yet is daal roti! The taste of food is amazing as well as the look of it! Not only food but their prices are great too! I had expected the price to be higher since their food quality is good but when I saw the bill the price was lower than I have excepted! I would recommend you go there at least once in life.

We group of 6 visited at financial street location. You guys have maintained consistency in being always late in your services. It was my 3rd visit.

Of course, I am not stupid to repeat the mistake again by visiting any of your location.

I also noticed that all tables had same issue. Just wondering why your staff is still working at your location after taking such an insult for being working with you.

You guys need to improve in Human Resources management.

Please talk to your manager or head of staff working today this time and confirm my statement of your service delay.

4 stars for the food. 2 Stars for the service. Had to reorder the same thing multiple times, we stopped eating for half hour because we didn't have enough on the table to go on. It's understandable they were busy, again, the food was great, the service could've been better.

I had the chicken Tikka in the starters. It was good, nicely prepared and loved the green mint sauce. The restaurant had a nice ambience. For the main course I had methi chicken, it was a bit sweet for my taste but still paired with the tandoori roti, it tasted nice.

Waiting time is so so so long, when u call even early in the morning to book a table, these guys don’t book it. Once u arrive there, they will lie about the waiting time. 2-3 hours is the normal waiting time. One more annoying thing is that they don’t call according to first come, first serve basis. It’s really frustrating if the food doesn’t come even after one hour. We ordered some starters, paneer tikka came after 20 mins but the next starter came after 50 mins. After waiting for like 3 hours, the main course that we got wasn’t even hot.
Another thing that i would like to mention is staff when they serve the food they just bang the food containers on the table, as if they are doing a favour serving us food.
The place is not clean at all. Daal roti should hire more people as they don’t have enough people to serve.

We pick up the food on new year and it was my frist time from there. And guess what, it made my new year. Very tasty and delicious main course. Must try kaju masala. It feels like having a dinner in india.
Little bit oily but its okay for that great taste. Service is also good as we called for 30 min and when we reached order is ready.

Best taste in town. They have recently reduced the quantity as I have ordered the food always from them but last time the container were just over half of the size full. But the taste was real best. Hope owner look in to it. As well their front staff need some customer service training, some of them are lacking the soft skills aka hospitality, I am not sure it might be because they are more busy.

Absolutely love this restaurant! Food is always delivered hot and fresh, their takeaway service is also fast and delivers with a smile. Highly recommended if someone looking for some genuine Indian takeaway in Mississauga.

Ordered from them, they accepted the order, took 35 mins and when uber eats showed restaurant is wrapping up, restaurant canceled the order. They took whole 35 mins to realize that they cannot prepare the order. Now I am left with no restaurants ready to deliver food. Never ever ordering from them again. This is no way to treat the customers.
