Best Manchurian tried so far on Canadian soil. It took us back to the streets of punjab. Must try their dry manchurian.

Best punjabi food in the area. We tried daal makhni & paneer tikka masala which was best.

Such a wonderful experience. Restaurant is clean, service is good and the food is delicious. Had their Amritsari kulcha and pani puri for the first time and I would definitely come back here.

I ordered 2 Chaat papri at this place and was so surprised to see the quantity. I paid $20 dollars plus for that order. And on top it was onions and tomatoes and main thing was just very little.not even enough for one person. When we get the same thing from Brampton we get one order for $7 and 2 people can eat that and on top that is super delicious. Never going back at this place. We live in that area but we will rather get the food from Brampton.

Had a separate section of the menu for vegans which was nice. Anyways, good food for a good price. Will be back again.

I was there yesterday. I think it's a very nice restaurant. Good food, the naans were very soft. I want everyone to support this resturant. As it's the first indian resturant in Orangeville.

Stopped here for Indian food on the way back from a weekend trip. Dal Roti has always been top in my list and this place will NOT disappoint you! Food is just excellent and the staff is very cooperative! I highly recommend stopping here if you wish to have Indian food.

The food is delicious. The service is attentive and the atmosphere is very embracing. It is a comfortable restaurant. I highly recommend it.

Worst experience ever. I would not even give 1 star. We will never go to this place again. Worst food, worst service. Girl at the front, does not even want to share this experience to chef. We are visiting daal roti at least twice a month in mississauga location and we never had this kind of experience. I know you guys became famous and got fame but it will not take a moment to finish everything. I have lost my trust on you guys because of bad service. Also they do not want to change food and want to charge in full. When we asked to cancel we got to know that their owner will not allow them to do that. Hope this review will help to improve your management.and finally, Bye Bye dal roti. Out of the list now.

Went in 830. Ordered the butter chicken with rice. Price is never an issue. Unless you don't get what you ordered. There were 2 small chunks of chicken with a lot of sauce and little rice. Flavour was really good, but no texture could be found because of the lack of chicken. Should have called ot Butter Rice.

Naan is nicely done. Chicken Butter Masala is amazing. One of the best Indian dishes I've eaten! Flavour is amazing and heat is right on.

Four out of five is only because I haven't ordered other dishes (I'm kind of stuck on the CBM.)

On our way back from weekend vacation, we were quite tired and hungry.the food served really matched our expectations.
Dishes were sumptuous and the quantity and spice level were perfect.the staff was courteous too!

We ordered veg and non-veg meals and they were all great (4 in total). The goat curry and brinjhal curry were our favourites. The food was a little hot - not too hot for the non-Indian eater but hot enough for the Indian eater who likes it hot so all around satisfying. Lots of naan too. We all left stuffed and pleased with our meals. The service was friendly. Thank you so much.

Most authentic Indian cuisine with excellent appetizers like Vada Pav and Samosa chat which to be honest made me a little home sick after eating it. Best part was that they make everything from scratch and don't use anything frozen. I had server named Bhumi, super nice and friendly, all her recommended items were very delicious.

Exquisite taste and quality. Indian Taste & Cuisine at it's peak in Orangeville. Paneer Tikka and Tandoori Mushroom are one of my favorite veg.appetizer. Must try this joint.

People who said best bread/naan must never had authentic Indian food. Here is review about all what we ordered. Naan/bread was so chewy and not crispy at all. Shahi paneer was the worse, goat curry had all garbage meat in it, fatty and chewy, vindaloo chicken was shameful, Mattar Malai Methi was good but salt was more. So overall people don't waste your money as people who don't even know how to make crispy naan what else to expect. If they return me all my money I will still be hesitant to try again.

Excellent experience, I order onion kulcha and vada pav, I requested some extra ingredients In onion kulcha and chef was more than happy to fulfill my request, he was very polite and pleasant, taste was great for both food orders, now I don’t have to drive all the way to Brampton for Indian food.

Worst veggie thali i ever had in my life, other food is good but don’t waste your money on veggie thali.

It was my first time eating from Daal Roti Express and it was not a pleasant experience. The curries were disgusting. Just overly oily, creamy and full of salt. The naans were so hard to eat. Will definitely never order from this location ever.

I would give it lower than 1 if I could. Ordered through Uber Eats, order was ready for pick by 7Pm, up but still had to wait 30min for pick up. Ordered Sahi paneer, the take out container contained only grave with about 4-5 chunks of paneer. Why even call it a paneer dish at this point. Ordered 4 naans, the order contained only had 3. Out of the 3,2 were burnt crisp. The only highlight was the taste of paneer tikka masala.

To clarify, the Sahii paneer was ordered by my brother under a different order, and this was for a Pick Up.

Yesterday I walked in to Daal Roti Express all the way from Brampton to enjoy the authentic Indian meal outside Brampton but they didn't let me and my family dine-in because my daughter wasn't vaccinated who is 11 years old. Please guide me where on the official government website is it mentioned that 11 year old needs to be fully vaccinated to enter/ dine-in a restaurant. Please correct me on this if I am wrong or else please educate your staff about the vaccination eligibility to enter a restaurant in Ontario.
Since we were denied at Daal Roti we went to Swiss Chalet nearby and they were more than happy to welcome us including my 11 year old.

Had the chicken vindaloo, chicken Tikka, butter naan, tandoori chicken and fish pakora. As a brown guy, the food was delicious. Great service as well. Would highly recommend and will be back!

Good food, some advertised vegan dishes on the menu are not vegan. Make sure you ask before you order.

Quality has deteriorated. Earlier the food was so good. Maybe chef has changed or something. Fish pakora quality and taste not the same. Same goes for veg snacks

We ordered take out and oh my, I can't express in words how amazing the food was. Being an Indian, it's a struggle trying to find a good Indian restaurant that I like, were so glad we stopped by at Daal Roti. Extraordinary staff, and again food is to die for! I usually don't post reviews but these guys deserved my 5 star review. Keep running the place the way you already are, all the best!

Disappointed services i purchased one veg thali and the cashier said you are not allowed to dine in if you are purchasing a thali. Doesnt make a sense

Got a vegetarian lunch to go. The food was outstanding. It's rare to find a good biryani rice. Will definitely be returning anytime i am in Orangeville.

First experience was great. Second didn’t match expectations. Ordered through skip the dishes. Butter chicken and chicken tikka masalla was very runny (not like first time), gave only one portion of rice. Sad

They know FLAVOUR omfg game changer, amazing vegan options, they actually know what vegan is and what goes into their food and its amazing. I've always made indian food at home and its always been delicious but this is on a GODLY LEVEL i thank you for this experience. Even the freaking SALAD is amazing like you think its just chickpeas and peppers? NO. ITS HEAVEN.

Worst experience. Discount coupons 10% but not given. It's happened Third Time in a month. Very very disappointing service and not promising. In your leaflet not mentioned any minimum order amount.

We had take on Sat. Absolutely the best Indian food we've had in a while. Everything was freshly made and delicious. Staff was great. It's a definite do over.
