Daal Roti Oakville

This is the third class restaurant they have only spend the money on their infrastructure, but if I talk about the food, it’s a low quality in this list please don’t waste your money here

One of the better options in Oakville for butter chicken. Portions are a little on the small side.

I have tried few dishes here but honestly the one I had this time, chef’s special tadka dal & mom made chicken curry (with bones) was more than just delicious. The right amount of quantity, excellent quality won my heart. The only concern would be daal’s quantity can be a bit more. But anyways, every that I had this was very very nice. I my previous visits, I have tried Paav bhaaji which was good as well. The ambiance of the place is nice with plenty of parking in the plaza, close to QEW. The food quality is well maintained as per the city community hence the prices are a bit higher compared to other places.
However, if you are looking for quality & delicious food, this would be the right place for it.

The ambience is too good, the staff is also quite friendly and helpful. The taste of panner lababdar is must try if you are vegetarian. Rest there are many options in Non veg. Overall recommend place to visit

The website says it's Bombay food, but noticed it was more Punjabi food than food from Bombay. The service was good

This guys charge 18$ for 3 veg samosa and 3 chicken samosa
And they don't make it when I ate I found resemblance of 1$ you get 3 samosa in Brampton sweet shops
They need to be fair enough to charge equally

We visited this place last week it was amazing taste. Less busy so we don't have to wait at all for our food. We ordered vada pav and pav bhaji as starter both taste were amazing

We visited this place many times but all their paneer curries are sweet. Their recipe seemed different than what we used to have 6 months ago. I hope they can cut down or completely remove sweetness from all spicy curries.

This is our first time visiting there. The food was bad. We ordered Paneer item and the taste of paneer was very bitter. After mentioning they said due to long duration the paneer taste like that and they didn’t charge for the item. If they know that their food is not good they should not serve and wait for the customer’s feedback. Before that I ordered catering and food quality was good, but they didn’t deliver complete order. When asked about that they said this was the capacity of the trey. They should have used another trey to deliver complete order.

So garbage. Ordered twice and it’s nothing like original food. Always order from mississauga location. You will know what you’re missing. Taste is so garbage at oakville location they should shut it down today

I had ordered starters Bombay Bhel puri, Chilli paneer, Hara bhara kebab and main course chicken Lababdar, chicken Madras, Butter Naan really the food was excellent and yummy. Thanks daal roti team.

I could not explain how good this restaurant is you just have to go there and try it. What a terrific experience. Food was delicious and most importantly cooked in a traditional way.normally you go to any restaurant, they have same sauce and taste in every dish but i found this restaurant cooked the dishes differently and each have their own flavour.must visit

I never see the expensive and low grade food restaurant in Ontario Canada like this restaurant, please check your food before leaving otherwise you will get burned third class food,

Owner and manager were rude and was a big scam with different pricing on bill and menu. Do check your bill while paying.

I ordered food from here for the third time today and it was amazing! The food is flavourful and the price is affordable. I came from all the way from Scarborough, and I wasn't disappointed.

Wow! I dont know where to start. It has been two years that i come to canada. I am a great fan of butter chicken ; but could not find that taste here in canada. Finally my desire fulfilled. Today’s experience was great. Has become one of best day of my life. I would like to thank the daal roti for serving the best quality food and service. Will come back definitely.

Worst Indian food. Do not go to this place. The menu items do not match the cooked food. The chef just throws in ingredients that is present in the kitchen and puts together the dish you ordered which is a shock when you receive it.

Food was good I use to go Mississauga but now it's open near by place I'm really happy. My favorite dish is Kaku masala it's awesome.

Food not good at all, slate not fresh, spent $40 and now my health is compromising, big difference, I will prefer to other Dal Roti branches instead

This was the first time we went to this place for dine in and it was worth trying new place. Had a amazing food. All food was delicious. And most exciting and amazing thing that i found this sizzling brownie which i was missing most from back home but now i found a place where i can get that so this place will be my go to place. 100% recommend this place to people who like to try authentic Indian food ️

I ordered naan and butter chicken. Both were really tasty. I asked them to add less butter on naan and they did just that. Ty.
A little pricy but I still recommend. Next time I want to order the thali bcz the picture looks good.

Hands down one of the best restaurants I have been to in a while! It was our first time trying this place and it did NOT disappoint! A large group of us came by on Saturday for my birthday and had an AMAZING experience. Food is delicious and very presentable, especially their chaats and appetizer options. Their butter chicken is also a must try, it’s mouthwatering. Also, their service is impeccable! The staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and were very patient with us. They went above and beyond to help make my birthday special, which was very appreciated. The ambiance is beautiful and although the restaurant might be a little small, it was perfect for our family of 15. I didn’t catch any names, but thank you to the entire team working on Saturday night. I 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy a night out.

Try their pav bhaji for authentic taste, of course everything else is good too. Hope they maintain the quality in the long run

Big order before mine led to mine almost 30 minutes late. Staff apologized, but try to estimate time better next time.

Biryani made with whole spices, good quality dish, but spicy compared to most made in Canada. Recommend asking customer if they want chilies added if possible, so it would be easier to choose a spicier curry gravy if desired for a family with varying spice tolerance.

Onion kulcha could be milder also, or mention medium spicy/peppery on menu.

Overall high quality Biryani and a good restaurant for someone with a medium spice tolerance. Hope they will adapt some rice and curry options they can offer a mild option for customers.

The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to preservation very plasing we especially enjoyed the meal and staff were extremely friendly and helpful

I genuinely can't believe this is an operational restaurant with how low the quality of food is, if it can even be called that. Ordered take-out pav bhaji which was just spicy tomato puree with a single pea? Paan kulfi which had chunks of leaves? I honestly hate having to say this about a business given the past year, but everything I tasted was revolting. On top of that, it was over-priced. Please heed the warning of negative reviews, save your money and don't order from here.

We were so excited to try Daal Roti as it just opened up in our area. It was worse Indian food ever and that also of huge chain in GTA. Butter chicken was full of gravy with only 3 bite size dry and flavorless pieces. What a waste of hard earned money. I wish I had taken a picture of it. Veg briyani had no taste. Rotis and naans were raw and not cooked properly. I will never go there again. I can't post without giving a star, even that's not worth it.

They will give you long waiting time for takeout. Even when you go past that they will make you wait at least 15 minutes. Went 3 times, disappointed 3 times, will go again 0 time.

Had one of the worse kadahi paneer which was not even looking like kadhai paneer extremely spicy and it was extremely dark in color tandoor chicken was raw non satisfied. Food which i ordered first time was good but second time was worse than imagined
