I'm always well received and greeted! And each visit feels like an exquisite treat to walk away with yummy delights!

Ladies who were helping me were very pleasant even though its nearly closing time. One stop shop where I bought my xmas gift this year to coworkers who were very amazed with the creativity of the mini cakes and macaroon characters and flavours.

As a customer of the Richmond Hill location, I am never disappointed here! I recently ordered the 3: 15 HK tea cake for a party and it was a crowd favourite!

Got the Golden Thorn, great as usual. But seems the size of the cake has gotten smaller and smaller over the years.

Came here to get some dessert. Their cakes are beautiful and delicious. Remember to check the ingredients for nuts allergies as some do them contain nuts.

We had our wedding cake made by DaanGo and it was a hit. We chose a giant cupcake wedding cake and tiered smaller cupcakes in various flavours. They are delicious and beautiful. Thank you to Mary and the team for executing this perfectly. Cheers.

I just had there mango Cheesecake and it was amazing! The customer service and quality of the product where top notch.

From my experience, the staff at this bakery were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They made me feel right at home, and I appreciated how accommodating they were even though I came in as a last minute customer.

The quality of their cakes is truly exceptional. I was blown away by how delicious and fresh everything tasted. You can tell that they use high-quality ingredients and take pride in their craft. I also love the creativity on display when it comes to both the ingredient choice and arrangement of their cakes!

Overall, I would highly recommend Daan Go Cake Lab to anyone in the area looking for a fantastic bakery experience. From the friendly staff to the outstanding quality of their cakes, this place really delivers. I can't wait to go back and try more of their delectable treats!

I was very disappointed and shocked with the size of Daan Go cake. The cake cost me 40$ after a 10$ promo but OMG was it tiny! I paid 40$ for almost a 4 inch cake. The individual slice sold was bigger than the full cake. I had to buy another cake to accommodate for this over priced cake. I would not buy from them again!

Review edited: I updated my rating to 3 because Daan Go rep reached out to me and made things right. This time, I didn't go for the cake but ordered the slices. Our favourite was Mont Blac and Zen Garden.

My go-to bakery for gatherings and appreciation gifts. They are so creative and offer a wide variety of choices. Their cakes are cute and tasty. Just love them! Also the staff are friendly. Now that I can order online for pickup, it’s even easier. Keep up the good work!

Delicious cakes. They have Asian inspired cakes that are delicious and not too sweet. One of my favourite cakes to get is the tiramisu cake. Highly recommend ordering their cakes and even their cute macarons!

I always come here for their pastries, cakes, and especially their macarons. The pastries are cute and tasty. The cakes are delicious and tasty. The macarons are, yep, cute and tasty! Other store-bought macarons that are labeled to have a certain flavour usually do not actually taste of the flavour that was advertised. So only ever buying macarons from Daan Go. Plus, the packaging is so well designed such that anything you buy survives travel, and it looks good enough that I also have bought from here to give as gifts for my favourite people. Because everything is delicious, and looks good!

We ordered cake at this location 2 times and love it. Reasonable price with good quality ️. Highly recommend

Macarons and pastries are really creative but taste is average, and quality is inconsistent. If it’s not your lucky day you’ll get a box of inconsistent in thickness and super hard/too chewy macarons

Customer service is not good. They’ll take awhile to get back to you for what they messed up and with an attitude that they don’t seem to really feel bad or care

Consistent with other reviews, pre-order doesn’t work. At least I didn’t end up getting what I pre-ordered, and yep had ruined the event they were pre-ordered for

I bought the mango cheesecake, it's terrible. $50, smaller than your hand, and also toooooooooo sour. The smell is mango, but the taste is like lemon.

My friend ordered tiger themed macarons for the baby shower and it looked sooo amazing. They were just too cute to eat. My friend who ordered it has a almond allergy so she still got them for the baby shower because they looked so good. The baby was born in the tiger year hence the tiger theme. I can't wait to try out their cakes. I will definitely consider Daan Go for my next cake or macaron order. Wish I had a photo of them but I forgot to take them since I was hosting the shower.

Got food poisoning after eating their strawberry shortcake. I do not recommend as I’ve been violently ill for hours now. Please check your strawberries more carefully before using them. You risk making customers sick such as myself.

I ordered a cake to celebrate my husband’s birthday around 2 weeks ago.

This is not the first time we ordered cakes from this bakery, we do enjoy their cakes a lot and have been a loyal customer despite bad courier experiences in the past. Our experience this time was truly upsetting. To begin, we were unhappy with the late delivery. The order was supposed to be delivered between 12: 00noon- 4: 30pm. We called their store twice around 5ish and they claimed they would call back to provide us with updates of the delivery and no call back was received. Finally the courier called us to pick up from downstairs at 6: 12pm and after we picked up the cake we opened the box and found the cake was totally disfigured.

We are really upset with the courier service and the customer service your store staff have provided to us. And we sent them an email to request a full refund as this totally ruined the surprise for birthday celebration. However, we haven’t received any reply from them after 2 weeks. This is just ridiculous.

I love Dann go’s desserts and it’s always been my to go for cake shop. I recently placed an order online but it was a huge disappointment with their service. I contacted customer service (Michelle) at AM and was told my request would be placed as priority and should receive an update shortly. It was past 4PM and I emailed for update but unresponsive. I called the shop and found out the there was no course of action taken to expedite my request. The customer service team did not reach out to the shop/delivery and I did not received my order even I paid for shipping fee.

Did not receive any macarons on a 3: 15 cake. Strawberries looked Dead and added no dimensions to the cake at all. Very disappointed. Will not be returning (all the other cakes were good, but not this time).

Ordered a cake for a family member's birthday and was excited to try the 3: 15 cake.until I opened the box to show them and realized that it was missing the 3 macarons that it should have come with.not sure how an incomplete cake could be given. SUPER unacceptable and disappointed as I heard their macarons were good and that was one of the reasons I wanted to get this cake from here. Not only is it already quite pricey but I had to disappoint someone on their birthday. I put on a smile to sing happy birthday but needless to say I won't be ordering from here again

We ordered a wedding cake from Daan Go and I would highly recommend. I didn't realize how many details went into a cake, but Daan Go's head cake designer patiently and nicely guided me through the process. The cake was beautiful - strawberry shortcake with buttercream icing and flowers - was not only delicious, with a moist cake base and fresh layers, but looked beautiful and helped up well in the heat.

Cute storefront with lots of variety. I opted for the 6 pack macarons which the kids loved and purchased the passionfruit lime cheesecake which you can't miss because its a chocolate mouse atop a slice of cheese.the artwork is incredible so it just heightened the taste bite after bite. They also provided a candle for the birthday girl and offer birthday signs for the cake slice. We also tried the pandan and that deserves a thumbs up too! So much details to their products and packaging. Adults and kids both loved it, we'll be back to try their ice cream!

Great flavours and includes actual durian inside. The base of the cake was a happy surprise as it was crunchy and added texture to the airy and spongy cake. Would order this again for all durian lovers!

Service was great as well at this location and had lots of parking spots (was here on a weekday though)!

Ordered macarons and wedding cake here. Sizable samples portions. They were really great to accommodate to my request (3 weeks) and anxiety. Flavors and design were amazing. I can't wait to order from them again for birthdays and anniversaries! Their gallery photos are very helpful and they provide very patient client services.

Super highly recommend! Everything that I’ve tried so far tastes so good. The cakes are super yummy matcha crepe cake especially! I wanna try all the ice cream flavours. I’ve tried ovaltine and milk candy so far and they both taste amazing! Can’t wait to go back for more.

My favourite place for macarons by far! Their macarons are not overly sweet and you can really taste the flavours. There's a good selection of macarons available, but I love their Asian-inspired ones the most. Plus they're adorable! I've also tried their cakes, which never disappoint either. I like the added layer of crunch at the bottom which gives an extra texture to the cakes. Always happy to make a trip here for some sweets!

Cakes and desserts taste amazing, but their customer service is dreadful. The staff didn’t respond appropriately to our questions, and had no idea about a cake pick up that was scheduled for a specific date and time. We understand it’s a busy season, however, we expect a certain level of service especially since this bakery is affiliated with a renowned chef.

I was looking for a bakery that could deliver a special birthday cake on a Monday, and I don’t live in the same city as my sister, the birthday girl.
I chose the tiramisu cake, and all reports are that it was absolutely delicious.
It was delivered when it was supposed to be, and it is so cute!

I always buy cakes for any occasion from Daan Go. I bought the Luckee cake for my mom's birthday recently and it's the cutest cake ever! I also received a lot of compliments at the restaurant about how cute it is. Customer service is always amazing and their cakes are always the perfect level of sweetness.

Very good presentation and creative design. However taste wise, was very disappointed as all 6 macarons were hard and not so tasty, considering that we have tried different macarons from other bakeries in the past. Daan Go macarons didn’t live up to expectations and the fame. Unfortunately would not come back and purchase from here again.

I ordered the two tiered fortune cake with chocolate ganache and tiramisu flavour. Both flavours were so excellent. The cake is so cute too. I also ordered some macarons. They are so amazing.

I love their macarons! Always chewy and delicious! My favourite is Earl grey, HK milk tea, matcha, black sesame, Vietnamese coffee and salted caramel. Totally worth it!

The only bad experience I’ve really had was my daughter’s 3rd birthday vanilla cake from a long time ago. Since than I try to avoid customize cakes from them. Everyone was surprised and disappointed. However the cake was pretty!

I had a bad experience in daan go cake lab on my birthday. I order cake online in the morning, But i cannot pick up my cake on time.and there no clear notified to tell customer need to call the place after order. Thought They said i can wait 20～30mins to get the frozen cake But i don't want to wait. But I really strong suggest to improve the online website. Hope no one will have same situation like me.

Horrible Customer Service. Tried to make an order for a friends birthday, my order was flagged as fraudulent. The price was refunded back to me but did not include shipping fees. After days of communication, they confirmed I'd get the shipping back. Still waiting. They said that the order was flagged for multiple reasons (I live out of Canada, so I get it, ok.) and that they'd contact customers when this happened. I was never contacted. Pretty terrible experience for me. Perhaps it was just bad luck, but I'll never be ordering from this place again.

Love their macaroon especially pistachio filling one. Ordered their Diamond cake for my anniversary and Tiramisu cake for hubby's birthday

They cakes here are pretty good.the crust for the tiramisu is a little weird has chunks in it.but its not crunchy just chunks.the durian can is very nice looking and taste pretty good.

Matcha crepe cake was great. Scarlet Grey was very heavy on the earl grey so be prepared. Was unfortunate that custom cake request was not being accepted at this time.

I ordered a matcha crepe cake for a birthday back in October and the experience was lovely from start to finish! The cake itself was first of all massive and so good. The matcha taste was amazing. We would absolutely order it again. The matcha macarons on top were also so yummy! Would absolutely recommend.

Had 3: 15 cake, HK milk tea flavour, very creamy, not too sweet. Also Mont Blanc cake, nice chestnut flavour, also not super sweet, which is what I like.

First timer this weekend buying products from this place. Masterchef winner and a favorite to watch on the program so of course had to taste his work. Wow. Was not disappointed. Tried 9 Macaroons, 1 Chocolate cookie and 3 slices of cake.not all to myself. Pricing is reasonable and everything was so tasty. If you have not tried this place, put it on your list as a must try

My boyfriend got me a macaroon tower and chocolate cake from here for my birthday and oh my gosh it was SO good! The variety of flavours of the macaroons were delicious and light, adding that they were also super cute too. My favourite was the roasted milk tea — I wish I could have it again! The chocolate diamond cake was also rich in flavour and it wasn’t overly sweet; it had a zesty taste to it too which was unexpected but a great addition to its chocolate flavour! The diamond itself also had these little crunchy beads in it too!

Overall, would definitely recommend this place to get your sweets for any special occasion and I look forward to trying more of what they have. Thank you!

If you love durian, this places serves it! Cake? Yes! Ice cream? Yes!

The cake is the size of a hand, very small. It serves 6 slices. The cake is deliciously made with authentic durian. If you hate the smell of durian but love the taste, Daan Go has that cake. There isn't much of other fillers inside so you're getting your money's worth. So cute.

I also recommend getting the ice cream pint as a take-home present. There is a faint durian smell but it isn't strong as the actual fruit.

Daan Go made our wedding cake and cake topper, it was exactly what we asked for! It was an absolute hit, all of our guests loved it. Not only was it adorable to look at, but super delicious, we had two flavours and a faux tier.

Their online Wedding Cake Maker was a super helpful and fun to use, it allows you to create your dream wedding cake and provides an accurate quote! Daisy, the regional manager, was quick and professional with her email responses, she was understanding when our guest number changed last minute and made helpful recommendations.

Would 100% work with again for a future event!

The Gold Thorn durian is tasty but quite pricey at $45. A bit more durian would create a lasting impression.

The Mango Passion Fruit ice cream is good. However, no ice cream should be mixed with sago/tapioca which became hard and ruined the taste. Its texture is for hot dessert.

Loved the service and might be back for the Mango cake.

This place has really nailed the flavours for all their products. Everything I've tried tasted like the flavour it was supposed to be, not artificial or over processed. The durian cake is legit.

Puchased the large 3: 15 milk tea cake for a birthday party. Cake was delicious, during pick up the staff were friendly, an added the final touches of fruit and macarron to keep it fresh. I appreciated that. Birthday boy and friends all enjoyed the yummy milk tea cake!
