Daawat Indian Cuisine

Food was good.but we cannot dine in as we can feel the smoke that is coming form the kitchen and it is very tough to sit and enjoy the food. We ended up taking food in parcels.

If i have chance i will give zero. I order for mughalai panner briyani in the menu card where iteam discription doesnt show that it have egg in it. But when i got the order there was egg in the briyani. Atleast they should correct their menu which they wont do anyway

Daawat has very good Indian food. Although the mild was a bit too spicy for me, I would definitely go back. The restaurant is a house turned restaurant, so don't be alarmed when you go in. Unfortunately the online service is not as good as the in-person service. When we ordered online the charge was set a pending but the food was never prepared, the workers quickly resolved the issue once we showed up expecting food. Great place for University students who are looking to get Indian food. 7/10

I never post any bad reviews about anyone in my life because am also a business man. But this time my patience is at end point. I called them continuously since last week cause I had a craving for noodles but every time I call them they told me just only 1 order of noodles take 40 minutes. Can you imagine only 1 noodles order will take 40 minutes everyday day told me same thing. Doesn’t matter what I ordered. Same answer 1 hour will take for my order. Even this is not enough when I ask them why you guys always told me same thing…they gave me reply you can cancel your order. Worst restraunt…very very very very worst staff I saw ever. Never gonna recommend anyone at allll.

The delivery time was so terrible that it completely ruined the entire dining experience at home. Save yourself the frustration and find somewhere else to order from.

I visited every time the food was amazing but the service was pathetic no one come we had to call them from kitchen.there is just only one person who is doing billing and serving process.worst service which i ever get in my whole life

Every single time we ask for zero spice in the curry but every single timewe get extra spice and every single time the Naan is totally burned! Why you don't care? Everyone complains you you just keep ignoring to serve your costumer better. I don't recommend this restuarant. Don't waste your money! Try the maison istanbul! Their service is amazing and the food is very delicious

Punjabi Chicken curry with butter naan is next level, nice ambiance and served professionally.

The standards (from food quality to customer service) of this place is dropping so low that I would never buy anything from here ever again. Think twice before visiting.

Hey Mughalai biryani is easy here. I can help you, mix cooked rice with Chilli powder, egg burji and add few fried chicken pieces. That is all, its ready and can be served.

Their dosa is like veg sandwich. Capscicum and tomatoes.wasted my money.subway is better than that.

Had to pick up a delivery, waited about 10mins. No one was at the main reception. Went down to the kitchen (stairs lead downstairs) and stood there for another 2 mins while 3 chefs were inside. Said excuse me a couple of times to get their attention. They finally came out and handed me the order which should’ve been sitting at the main table with an employee. Terrible customer service. They don’t care about their customers. Customers shouldn’t have to enter the kitchen for their food.would give -5 stars if I could.

I want to give zero star but I can’t unfortunately. We went there for dinner but all food was tasteless smelled and not fresh. We wasted $40 it was our first and last visit never go there again. They served smelly food. It was cleared that food was not fresh. If you care about your health then Don’t go there.

Hands down the best Indian Food in Ontario, the food feels like home and the service is tremendous as well. Also, the classic indian soft drink thums up goes very well with paneer and naan. Strongly recommend to try it if ever in windsor!

Terrible food + Poor service = Will never visit again.

I had very poor quality masala dosa with the smallest cup of sambar I have ever seen in my life. Plus basics like water & tissue papers were not provided to us. There was no one to attend the customers and plates would remain on the tables even after the diners are gone. It looks like they just don't care about their customers by leaving them unattended.

Delicious and yummy food I had tried. Best ambience. Can try this place who are looking for Indian cuisines.

If you like butter chicken minus the chicken this is the place for you! Total of 3 slivers of chicken for the whole dish.

Worst restaurant in all universe. Even laari wala has better food than daawat. Wasted my money. No service at all. If you think to go there than change your plan and go to tim hortons instead.

I've always enjoyed the cuisine here, particularly the fish fry. The service is also good. The taste is good, and the overall experience is pleasurable.

Here non veg and veg are not prepared separately. And this is the second time I had this experience there is meat in paneer biryani. If you can’t make vegetarian dishes separately better remove from the menu. I have never eaten or touched meat in my life. Because of you I ate twice. Let’s end up legally this time.

2 stars just for the average taste. But the service was horrible. If you want to dine in then just order everything in one go. Because no one will be coming to ask you again if you need anything. In my case we have literally went in the kitchen three times to ask, that please take the order. Even the lady didn't asked for the water also nor there were basic services were offered like napkins etc. You have to ask for each thing. Funny thing is when we ordered she came back and said its not in the menu. But it was and she replied I gave you the old menu. Irony is the way she asked for tip in the end. This restaurant was a joke.

The food was delicious. We placed an order for indian cuisine. The atmosphere was excellent. I had a great midday lunch in relaxed seating.

What an incredible spot to eat the greatest Indian cuisine. Prawn biryani, Mutton biryani, and chicken were among the dishes we sampled. I was quite pleased with their service.
