I got these as a gift from my boyfriend, I overall love the packaging and taste. Really happy with these macarons! Yummy

Got the matcha Ice cream Sandwich. Waited 10 minutes for the ice cream to soften and it was the perfect texture. The matcha ice cream was quite creamy and a little bitter which nicely complemented the sweet meringue. Will definitely be back to try more flavours!

Such a sweet hidden gem!

These thick macarons are a lovely treat. Each filled with cream and sandwiched between crispy and light macaron shells. I love the yuzu & purple sweet potato

The macarons are always great quality, yummy and larger than other places. Great variety of flavors. Their prices are reasonable too! I come by every time I visit downtown Toronto.

Such a light, crisp, and sensational desert place. This shop makes sure to emphasize the flavour of each macaron instead of relying on sugar to overpower the experience.

I don't even like macarons but I will stop by Dainties whenever I'm in the area. All of their flavours are delicious and worth a try.

Very nice dessert place ran by two brothers. Their treats are never too sweet. Always a good choice that pairs great with the tea shop a couple doors down.

Ok i wasn't expecting these to be that great because the filling seems overwhelming but OMG.they're amazing! Crème brûlée and froot loop milk were my favorites, both seriously delicious and fresh and just great

update went back and tried more, also had to recommend the earl grey.so good! And oreo too.somehow even better than all the rest! This place is outstanding

The macaroons here are amazing! The options they have is diverse with a lot of Asian inspired flavours and I got some that I’ve never tried before! The price is worth the size of the macaroon for sure. Definitely recommend!

The worst part about a decent macaron is the fact that they're too small and barely filled. Enter Dainties Macarons! These are beast size macarons and the filling is wider than the two tops combined! If you happen to come by on a warm day, try their ice cream macarons sandwiches! Burger-bun sized macarons with an ice cream filling. This is a great spot in Chinatown for very unique flavors you can't get anywhere else.

Delicious k-style macarons! Lots of flavours to choose from as well. Would love to visit again.

Got the London fog Ice cream sandwich and four macarons - lavender, rose, Viet coffee and Milk tea. The Viet coffee and milk tea were soooo good (and decent price). The ice cream sandwich was very good but a little tough to eat (awkward size and a bit too frozen) - but taste was great! The rose and lavender macrons were not my fav - lavender was a bit bitter. Overall pretty good and would go again. Definitely go for the Asian flavours

Black Sesame Ice Cream Sandwich was very light, true to taste and of course, delicious. I love how it wasn't too sweet. I would suggest you wait about 5 minutes or so for it to thaw a bit before you start eatting. The macaron is a little on the hard side so it tastes better once you've waited for it to soften. I didn't get the chance to try their macarons but they all look very massive and cute and I'm sure they taste just as delicious too! I would love to try all their flavours some day!

Been wanting to try this place forever and finally had the chance to pop up last week! They have super yummy flavours, very Asian inspired. They’re chewy and the size of these macarons are worth for the price! I picked up 6 flavours and getting the box was an extra 1$ but nevertheless I had such a pleasant experience in store. It’s super cute inside and the owner is really sweet, he helped me choose my flavours and gave me recommendations and told me which ones were the most popular. My favourite flavours were the purple potato, crème brûlée and the jasmine tea! I would love to try their ice cream sandwiches next time.

I honestly LOVE this place! They are always so friendly when I go into the store and incredibly responsive when I make a preorder. They really care and check in with their customers. AND they make very good treats. I would recommend it to anyone!

Was decent but not worth the price imo. It's a cute shop though, and still enjoyed the jasmine flavour.

I want to try all the flavours. They’re so delicious and not your typical macarons! My bf who hates macarons actually liked it and wanted to steal mine.

SO GOOD! All their flavours are soo tasty and tastes like the real deal! The size of the macaroons are also so big I love it. Definitely will come again to try their other flavours and ice cream!

This is my favorite place in Toronto. Perfect, like stunningly perfect, macarons and the taste and texture is incomparable. Price is excellent, staff are kind. These people deserve five stars

Got some macarons as a gift from a friend and omg they were so good I just had to search up the store to plan a visit next time and give a review! I had the matcha and earl grey buttercream filled macarons and they tasted nothing like regular ordinary macarons! Very soft, the flavors are much more pronounced, the sizes are definitely worth the price! I'm looking forward to trying out other flavors when I go visit!

Always a pleasant experience to visit — the owner is very welcoming, and you leave with delicious treats. I find their regular macarons a bit more flavorful than their ice cream version.

I tried Jasmine tea ice cream sandwich. Size of this ice cream was about your palm. Outside was chewy and sweet but what I liked was that taste of the ice cream didn’t have only sweetness. I could taste fully Jasmine tea flavor. The flavor of outside and inside was well balanced.

Wonderful, sizeable macarons for a great price. There are always new flavours to choose from and the variety keeps us coming back for more. The Black Sesame and HK Milk Tea flavours are our favourites!

The owners are lovely people and you can tell they truely care about the store and making great macarons.

Make sure you get a loyalty card as well if you plan to go often!

BEST MACARONS EVER!
When I saw these I was blown away! It looked very appealing and the portion size was incredible! I would consider it to be a large macaron. I loved how each of them were individually wrapped as well. I ordered the red dates, pistachio and black sesame ice cream sandwich and it was delicious! It tasted sweet, rich, savory and the list goes on. I'm salivating right now)

I would highly recommend this to my family and friends! The gentleman was very friendly and polite. He helped me choose my favours as it was my first time there. Thank you!

Lovely location for Macarons in Chinatown! It's well organized and easy to read the flavours available. It was the first time into the store and I had the Dalgona flavour which was was pretty good! There were so many flavours to choose from, the employee recommended us pineapple as well. For reference, these Macarons were roughly the 2.5" sizes (dollar bill height). They also have a loyalty stamp card as well for your trip. Definitely recommended to try them all!

Great London Fog macaron ice cream! Perfect balance of flavour and such great texture! Good crunch and nice chewy texture. Wouldn't mind a slight greater crunch but still really good! Not too sweet either which I'm quite pleased about.
