I thought that dairy freeze was a small place
Look outback.there's a huge garden to explore
I had the best Strawberry shortbread Sunday
were fresh and so was the cake at the bottom
A destination must

Slow service and got accused by the waitstaff that my friend didn't pay for his meal when he did in fact paid at the counter and he even went to the ATM to get cash. Extremely dissapointed with this experience everything is overpriced and food is nothing special.

Honestly one of my favourite places to eat - love the chicken finger dinner with the spicy curly fries! My go-to! The coleslaw here is to die for! Would highly suggest getting their milkshakes as well or a float. Even though they're always busy, it's always worth the wait!

Great sausages. Please don't call the fountain drink size a large. Just call it what it is. Small. But thats my only complaint.

Loved it! A staple in Essex County! Popular amongst us locals! Delicious soft serve ice cream cones, sundaes and such. Large portions.a small is enough for most as it would be considered large at other establishments.

Car side service with wait staff taking orders from the comfort of your vehicle.similiar to what A&W Once was in the 50's and 60's.just turn on your headlights and a server comes over! 5 stars hands down!
Highly recommend a trip out there at least once every summer

Our cousin recommended this place and wanted us to get small unless we wanted a lot of ice cream. We did not listen! You get your money's worth for sure!
Love the car hop service. Reminds me of old school driive in restaurants.

The ice cream has not been the same the last two years.used to be so creamy and delicious and the chocolate dip used to be almost light and to die for.but now the ice cream is icy and thin and the chocolate dip is hard. Very disappointing, but we'll still go every now and then for the experience.

Srill as good as I remember it. After sitting at a picnic table for quite a while, I did have to go up and order from one of the waitresses which is not the norm. However it was a Sunday and they were quite busy. I still love the food and the Boston cooler Isa tradition.

I tried burgers, hot dog and ice cream.
Burgers are okay, nothing is special. But you must try their ice cream and hot dog.
And remember to bring cash.

Love this place the people who work here are always nice.always bring my kids here would be nice if they had jungle gym in the back for kids to play on though

Always a great experience here! I love the yard. The kids can run around in the grass, play with chickens and eat ice cream yummy deep fried pickles too!

This place has always owned my heart, been going here since I was a small child. The staff are very friendly even when they are overwhelmingly busy.

I would recommend the fresh fruit sundae. I had raspberry the other day. Amazing. Kids had the classic dips. I would even recommend the hamburger. Old school ordering from your car if you want to wait.

Great place, awesome vibes. There's a cute cat roaming around that chills with you if you're into that.

In all fairness I did not purchase what they specialize in: ice creme products.
We used their opening promotional coupons to buy their hamburgers & fries.
Kindly stated they did not meet expectations.
Two of the four of us didn't even finish their burgers.
They were tasteless, not good.
We may go back for their ice cream products, but for meals, I think not.

Extremely friendly staff! Their food is good but really you're going for the Ice Cream. They have a lot of different flavours that you can have and even combine some of them.

They are cash only but do have an ATM on-site. If you have a NUT/PEANUT Allergy they aren't a nut free location but do take extra care to not cross-contaminate anything.

Love coming here, felt good to get some soft serve finally after a year and a half. Prices have gone up since my last visit but everything has. Still well worth the price, and friendly service.

Love this place have been coming here for over 25 years, food is great, service is fast and overall just a great place

Nice treat, I would give it 5 stars if they had dairy free ice cream, would have loved a banana split. Friendly service, busy place, a bit of a wait.

Very good prices for the portions. Ice cream is reliable. Food is mainly frozen, but cooked fresh and crispy so it's not as bad. Great place to end off a day.

One of my favorite ice cream places. I will always get the cone dipped in something. All of them are good. All the sundaes and banana splits, milkshakes.you can't choose wrong in my opinion. Staff is always super friendly and quick. This place is always bumping for a reason.
I have been here many, many times and I will return Many more times. They only take cash, but there is a an ATM machine on site. If you ever get the chance, at least stop for some ice cream!

Nice and cozy place out of the city if you want some home cooked food just like how mom used to make it. Only down side is everyone know about it so be ready to wait an hour or more for some ice cream

I love this place. You will always get stellar, quick service. And rhe icecrram portions you have to experience for yourself. This is one of those local secrets that everyone knows about. Do yourself a favor and give them a visit.

The food and ice cream was not good and neither was the service. It's over packed and doesn't seem like there is enough staff to handle it. Over all just would not recommend going here save your money for some place else.

The Dairy Freeze was fabulous as always when I come to see my family it's a must my aunt Ann and uncle click used to own it and it has been in other relatives hands ever since every year a must Boston Coolers the best and my mother Betty McManus was a car shop in the 50's

Should have just had icecream but once again tried the hot dog and a no go felt sickly.found them again to be tough

I've been going many years, always enjoy it. Even when less than ideal weather staff is still very friendly.

Moved away a couple years ago but when in town visiting friends and family Dairy Freez is always on my list of places to go. Charlie special and a Boston cooler my fave. Glad I got there before they close for the season.

Awful staff, don't have the courtesy to say your welcome or whatever when you say thank you to them, or even when you tip them for their awful service coz that's what decent people do. Highly recommended staff training on proper customer service but probably won't work coz the training don't happen on their cell phones which they are more invested in than the customer that they're getting paid for.

Love the late night hours! After supper when you want a nice family treat the drive is worth it one of our favorite places

Love this place, used to go hate alot back in the 90's when I lived in Essex county, went back to visit family in Windsor and this is always a must have when in the area

The ice creams and shakes are so refreshing and tasty. Its my second time and still feels complete satisfaction.

Was a busy night when we went so service was a bit slow, as to be expected. Very friendly staff and great ice cream. Definitely a place to visit if you're not from around here.

Anyone who doesn't give this place a five star review needs to give there head a shake, speaking of shakes there always thick and tasty, Mr T burger and fries with a giant m@m dipped cone for desert can't go wrong. It's a summer time staple in the Windsor Essex community. Well worth the drive to North ridge.

Dairy Freez is one of our favourite stops for a summer snack. Some of the best Boston Coolers around.

The service is quite fast considering. Love the curbside hospitality. Always wonder how the girls know the exact change?
