Amazing English breakfast in this small town. Lady at the counter was great at answering all questions.

Super friendly staff. Great breakfast! Homemade hashbrowns not frozen!

I ordered the smoked meat poutine.

The smoked meat itself was a bit disappointing; the cubes added a strange texture which wouldn’t have been a problem with slices, and I also wish there was more of it. The fries, gravy and cheese curds were very good.

The service was great, the employees were very thoughtful so no complaints on that side.

I would definitely recommend this place!

Expensive for the amount of food vs price 2 bacon cheeseburgers with poutine, 2 popcorn chicken poutine and battered mushrooms $83 really! The cleanliness was very lacking as well. I live in the area and will not return. Food was not even that tasty.gravy sucks

Every single year we come to this local Dairy Freez & Grill to pick out our favourite freshly made Kawartha ice cream! Definitely has changed in a very good way as the ice cream got better in texture and flavour and the Dairy Freez has now new toppings for the ice cream. Also, I would recommend bringing your dogs as they have a puppalicious snack size ice cream for your little pups!

Well haven’t tried the food unfortunately didn’t have the opportunity (I had my service dog with me and after ordering a woman came to me and called me out (at which time I presented her certificate then she calmed down but (unfortunately not the point) my service dog goes everywhere with me…the Rio tap and Grill, the Granary …Ottawa to the Mandarin … hospitals, including sick children’s (cheo) but it boils down to the attitude they had so walked up the street and had a fabulous meal at Charlie D’s

Good cheeseburger combo for a good price. Amazingly they didn't have classic coke or classic pepsi. Never seen in any restaurant in the world. Excellent onion rings.

I had the all day breakfast and a milkshake and my friend had the hamburger and a milkshake total was just under $40. Everything was pretty good but the portion of home fries in the all-day breakfast was kind of small considering how inexpensive home fries are to make.

First time last time there. Visiting Barry Bay stopped there for lunch. Priced way to high for the amount of food you get. Fries were cold had ice cream cones were stale. Waited for over 45 mins for lunch and wasn’t good when we got it. One lady cooking all by herself so everything came cold.

Would not let us hold our toy poodle just to order an ice cream and leave. But I’m sure screaming kids spreading more germs and dirt are welcome.

Excellent service and polite and helpful staff. Very patient and never felt rushed to make a decision. Allowed us to try different samples to make sure we made the right decision. Thank you

I just ordered a hamburger combo and a cheeseburger and an order of zucchini fingers. Drove all the way home only to realize that I only received 4 zucchini fingers and no dipping sauce. I paid 10$ for the fingers. I feel ripped off and will not eat there again.it is too bad that the quality of food has dropped so much because I used to love eating here.

Beware of anywhere that makes you pay and tip before they make the food. I bothered the counter attendant for a sausage and eggs, over easy, homefries.about half an hour later I got a bacon and eggs on a cold plate with some beans freshly un-canned and cold, and raw boiled potatoes which were inedible.toast which was burned on the edges and cold by the time it arrived.all for 16 bucks.

The milk was acceptable, from Brums Dairey which I haven't heard of before.

This is an ice cream parlor which pretends to make food and charges too much if they can't even get potatoes right.will not spend more money there as I feel insulted that this slop would be charged for.

This place is exclusively for desperate tourists and people with no other options.

A decent establishment offering standard fare you can't easily find in the area, particularly year round. Admittedly nothing is too special, but neither is it distasteful. If you happen to be in this neck of the woods, certainly give them a lick as they say:)

Always great service and friendly experiences. Definitely my go-to spot for ice cream. The food and baked goods are always good too!

Went for breakfast. It was hearty and delicious, I was pleased that they even offered gluten-free bagels for the toast at no extra charge. Prices were good as well and the service was great and friendly.
