Dairy Queen (Treat)

I recently visited Dairy Queen and was thoroughly impressed. The soft-serve ice cream was rich and creamy, and the menu offered a wide range of delicious treats. The whole experience from start to finish was frustrating. The staff is not knowledgeable (perhaps lack of training) and could not answer my questions about certain cakes. When I went to pick up the cake, the staff member barely acknowledged me when I arrived at the counter and when she did, she could not find my son's cake (shortly before his actual birthday party with 30 people!). She casually sauntered over to me saying she couldn't find it. Thankfully, another person came in and found it at the very bottom of the cake rack. At least the cake was yummy but the whole process at the Bloor St West location by High Park needs some serious attention.

The custom ice cream cake I ordered was absolutely beautiful, it was decorated exactly as I asked and the photo quality was impeccable. The staff were also a total pleasure. I will be returning for all my cake orders in future and highly recommend DQ for cakes to make a special occasions even better.

I went to this Dairy Queen location around lunch time and I asked for a bacon cheese dog and I received an uncooked hotdog, no bacon and cheese not melted and when I went and asked for him to reheat it he was very upset that we asked (he’s tall, Asian) it was a very unpleasant visit.

Cake was amazing - came out exactly as I wanted it. The process was fast and easy ordered online and picked up at the location. Highly recommend a go-to for picture cakes. Cake was also super delicious! Will be coming back!

My husband ordered ice cream cookies cake … look ok but I didn’t like that…. It was 8 inch around 40$ but, Na my type… so my daughter birthday? Coming soon.but not for her … think first and last time…

The Dinosaur Cake was great for my boy's 4th birthday. Everything went smoothly as far as ordering and pickup. A great experience with great customer service. I can't think of anything that could've been better.

I always order my children's custom ice cream cakes here and have never been disappointed. If they have questions about the order, they always call to confirm before making. Cakes are ready on time.

Rude customer, waited 10min to get one Ice cream when I am the only customer there at that time

I would give this location 0 stars if I could. I ordered a cake for my sons first birthday in the beginning of September and when I received it the quality was horrendous. I had ordered a personalized cake with his photo on it. The photo had so many water marks all over his face that you couldn't even tell it was my son. When my husband picked it up the manager told him that the machine wasn't working properly so that's the best she could do. If this was the case, why not call the customer to discuss other options. I was absolutely disgusted with the service I received when I called and asked to speak with the owner who never contacted back as well as the manager who said she would call me in 2 days with a solution and never did. When I called the following week she told me she forgot she was on vacation and that's why she didn't call back. I would never recommend this location to anyone in fact I will never go back and have advised family and friends to spend their money else where. It is October 22nd and I still have not received a call or email from the owner to discuss this situation. By far the worst service I have ever received.

Excellent service. Very easy to order to online and then pick up the cake. I especially appreciate that there are lots of cake decorating options with many images to choose from.

I ordered an ice cream cake online and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. First, it’s SO EASY to order online! I added a photo, chose the icing colors and flavor, and paid online, so all I had to do was go pick it up. Be sure to give them at least 48 hours notice; my cake was ready at the time I selected and had a very happy birthday boy that evening! Delicious and exactly what I requested. After buying many blizzards for the past few years here I have been happy. The staff are kind, the ice cream tastes great. (especially the smores blizzard) I think the only downside is that sometimes my blizzard was not fully mixed at the bottom 1/3. It was just vanilla icecream even if I ordered the brownie blizzard. Hope they can find a way to mix it fully. Overall still a great place

The blizzard cake I ordered was perfect and they were able customize some of the elements for me. I really appreciated the call to confirm what I wanted. The presentation was lovely and it was delicious too!
