Walk in to see a bunch of stuff unavailable no burgers just chicken and fries. And to drink just milkshakes and soft drinks So ordered a soft drink with ice needless to say asked for extra ice after that with that being said I'm guessing they have an ice shortage? Or they forgot the recipe for ice
It was not worth stopping at.

Guy was extremely rude.other girl who was off the clock was letting customers smell the weed she just bought making the whole place stink.order took 15 minutes to make and was ignorant handing it out.the most ghetto place in collingwood

I was just there, it's 1pm and tried to go through the drive thru. There was a car at the pickup window already so I pulled up to the order speaker and sat there, nobody said anything but I gave the benefit of the doubt since the first car was still at the window, maybe only 1 person is working? That car pulls out and I'm still sitting at the order speaker and I sit a couple minutes and hear faint noise coming through the speaker almost like someone is trying to speak, so I pull up to the window thinking maybe the speaker is broken, I'm trying to give the benefit of the doubt considering I know all their grills are broken from a previous visit when I tried to get a burger. Now at the window I can see at least 2 employees standing inside talking and laughing, never looking at the window but I can see 1 has a headset on which I assume is for the drive thru. I sit there for a couple minutes watching the 2 employees talk, laugh and gesture, having a grand old conversation so I just leave and they'll never even know I was there. Honestly they were so engrossed in their conversation I probably could have opened the window helped myself and left.

Great if you're looking for some ice cream but the burgers and fries are not the best. The employees there are very friendly, despite always seeming to be understaffed. The location could definitely use some renovations both on the inside and outside of the building.

Staff was nice… Windows desperately need cleaning inside and out. Ceiling is coming down in spots over booths. The burger oven was broken and took 20 min for a burger. Not the staffs fault, they communicated the issue and gave solutions to the problem.

The drive through is always slow, a 10-15 minute wait at minimum. Their slushie machine hasn't been working for over 6 months,
so they can't make Misty Slush or Orange Julius. Disappointing!

Multiple times being here. I think I've been told that the slushie machine isn't working more then I've had one. They need to come up with a sign before drive thru to let people know it isn't working.

Cassidy (I'm sorry if I spelled your name wrong and used the incorrect pronouns.) was amazing. He had us laughing so hard. I was asking what my daughter wanted and while I was naming off things, a bunch of random food items started coming through the speaker box. Made our night!

I have never had such awesome service!

Please have him train new staff because his jovial attitude and politeness were perfect.

I'm a heath care worker always on the go and my server lexi recognized this and brought me everything extremely fast and it was so good. The cook even broke out in song and dance. Food was amazing. I had a great experience with the show thank you so much guys. Highly recommended here.

Zak was very helpful and amazing when I came in and ordered a very annoying item. He was wonderful and I think he deserves a raise.

Went to Dairy Queen in Collingwood on October 2 2022 it was tarable very little fryer hamburger could have been better
The guy making the hamburger did have gloves on A lot of cross comanaison would recamend going to that Dairy Queen very rude couldn’t understand the guy on drive through speaker very very slow20 to 30 minutes befor you get your food

Dirty space and also staffs are very rude (i think they are tired and don’t care anymore for customers)

There's always something good at DQ. Love our blizzards. The line in takeout window was fast

Once we finally got threw the drive threw, seriously like 20 minutes if not longer, it was refreshing to receive our order. Always happy there but that wait was brutal. Staff is always friendly and pleasant.

Love dairy Queen.best place for not fast food but fan food. Love dq cakes and blizzards. The burgers and onion rings are the bomb.

Employee at front counter was obnoxious, I asked for a ranch chicken wrap and he said “flamethrower it is. ” I replied “excuse me, I want ranch. ” He wasn’t funny. He also offered me random packages of ketchup that another customer had tossed on the counter.

Employees preparing food with bare hands and then wiping hands on pants in between touching chicken then burgers without washing hands whatsoever.

Wait time for a walk-in small fry and chicken wrap was over 10 minutes.

When my food was ready the employee tossed the bag on the counter, yelled “small fry” and the bag tipped over, fries a mess. The wrap, thrown together and open with fillings coming out.

DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I feel bad for the manager. The people working aren't very good. Millennials really dont care and have no common sense.

Was given two giant ice creams with no lid, filled to the top and no tray? I had to ask and then she said just do it yourself.

First time I've been to a Dairy Queen in yrs. I went in planning on getting a crispy chicken sandwich (best on planet, with REAL chicken) but got the double cheeseburger instead. It was FANTASTIC. Oh the char broiled burger couldn't have been better. The service was quick and friendly with staff actually working, not busy chatting with each other. Highly recommend this establishment and cant wait to go get that chicken sandwich I wanted.

Service is always fast and friendly. You’ll likely get your order faster if you walk in rather than go through the drive thru.

It ok store.i find they can be on slow side some times and the school kids always there on breaks making it harder for older folks to to go in and order.overall ok resturant

Very rude staff, I'm deaf, I using their drive thru because seems no parking to go enter store, this guy very rude impatience, when I try said write paper, he kept speaking and eye rolls on me. Poor service.

Busy during a hot summer night in July. Service moved slowly but to be expected. Parking lot is a little rough and I never had the opportunity to go inside so unable to comment on cleanliness or set up.

Staff was friendly and order was done correctly.

Twice now I have eaten from here, and both times the food has been cooked perfectly and in good time, even when busy. Friendly staff too. If you want quick food, good quality, this is worth a visit.

What can I say about this particular Dairy Queen location in Collingwood except, the staff, at least on my visits have always been filled with humour, though at times the wait can be crazy on a hot day when everyone just wants a blizzard.

I have not dined in, always use thr drive-thru and in the one occasion, the walk-up.

Their food is fast, and tasty.

It was a big rip off. They have a 2 for $5 snack menu. On that menu there is a small cheese burger and small fries so I ordered that. I also ordered a regular pop. It came to $10.49 so I asked at windows why so much? Their computer charged me $5 for the fries and regular soft drink and charged me for the overcooked cheese burger at $4.89. Next time I will go to McDonald's

I’m not a huge fan of DQ. But they always have the best onion rings!
Lately the orders seem small. Went through today and ordered a large onion rings (normally it’s a pretty full box for 7 bucks) asked for ketchup on the side. Opened the box to 12 onion rings! And the 7 packs of ketchup!? !? So half a box of ketchup! I wish I could post a picture here! I laughed so hard Becuse somone thought this was okay? Mayb they didn’t want to make a full order and thought “hey let’s just fill the box with ketchup”.

Disappointed.

Always had great customer service, and care when an allergy is present. Inside seating area (pre-covid) could benefit from a Reno though.

Big line up, got 2 of 4 items correct, royal fudge oreo blizzard was without fudge, and cotton candy blizzard had very little cotton candy pieces/not fully mixed.

Food was good, and thank you for working during this pandemic. But Lady on the intercom was very rude and not wanting to answer questions about the menu. And the 2 for 5$ deals an about the chicken sandwich that was hidden on the menu but I asked if there was anything else that was hidden on the menu that I would enjoy, and all I got back was Attitude. I understand that it’s hot back there an people get irritable.but
If You’re going to be rude to customers for zero reason at all! I suggest you quit your job and find something else.

Restaurant looks like it has had better days. It is dirty, falling apart and in need of a restoration or at least a good clean.

Best fast cheese burgers anywhere! Yumm.and well they Ice creme needs no intro. This place is friendly fast and a good deal.

Not really a viable option for a quick meal- The other reviews put it better. The staff do their best but it seems as though issues with management may bring this place down. If you want DQ, go to Stayner. They are not only the better DQ nearby, but one of the best in Ontario.

Additionally, I'd like to mention how Wendy's and Harvey's outclass DQ in it's food. You can't even make a case for the chicken products at DQ, as Collingwood also has a KFC restaurant nearby. The ice cream can be covered by McDonald's decently well, plus there are a couple of family run restaurants that grant the customer way more tasty ice cream.

I try to avoid this DQ if I can.

Hi Thomas, thanks for delivering a terrible experience at a business that already looks like it's operating below standard. Your employees are rude and combative and I can see where they get it from. My experience: I parked, walked by the door and was immediately confronted with a women who told me I couldn't park there. I was told by her (and eventually Thomas) that since I wasn't going into the restaurant that moment I needed to move my car. The assumption: I was going next door, which I later learned was a Cannabis store, not the case since I didn't even know that existed. A thought: Maybe consider the opportunity your business has as a fast food chain located beside a cannabis store and offer some sort of incentive (coupon, discount) for customers since they're probably going to want food after visiting that shop. In conclusion: Don't assume, ask. Take advantage of the location and find opportunity in the situation. Good luck!

Usually do the drive thru. This last time I was so frustrated, haven't been back for 8 months so far. Service was ridiculously slow, they messed up our order and I finally gave up and took what we got and left.

Nice place ro stop for a quick icecream cone.
The beat ones are the blizzars not so much the soft icecream its more like icemilk. Burgers are not so good, ok fries.
The atmosphere is good and the kids who work there are nice. Drive thru available, free parking.
Bathrooms are clean, and free parking available

They use the microwave after throwing the burgers into the fire hazard because dispite the unpredictable flames shooting out of the oven, its not hot enough to cook it properly. Go to Harvey's for burgers.

Wow! A great deal for an outing with the family. 2 cheese burgers for $5.00 and they actually taste good. Who knew they offered great food as well as great ice cream treats!

The manager was in front of me unloading water in the drive through lane and rather then compensate me with an icecream cone he merely drove around to park

It's Dairy Queen! But, I was disappointed in there take home BusterBars. They are supposed to be similar to a Peanut Buster Parfait, no! Next to no chocolate sauce or nuts. Basically a Dilly Bar. I won't buy them again.

One bite of the burgers and we couldn’t finish. Two shrivelled up scraps of bacon are supposed to constitute a bacon cheeseburger? Shame on you. $21.56 for what? ! What an awful experience. My wife and mother-in-law and I will never come back. Didn’t even want my sundae after that. Please let me know if you compensate customers other than lamely apologizing online to their reviews.

Fantastic customer service. The young gentleman behind the counter was super accommodating when I mentioned my daughter has a peanut allergy, and he cleaned the machine before he served her. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you.

This dairy queen was very untidy. The counter where the ice cream was prepared was scattered with crumbs. It just didn't look clean.

It was filthy bathroom disgusting the front door i wouldn't touch.

Inline DQs food now I used to only go for icecream now I love there burgers. The 5&7$ meal deals are unbeatable value for your money and the DQ in stayner and Meaford have the best service and the best cooks. They even do table service in the stayner location

Friendly staff, fast service. Wasn't disappointed with our random choice of going to DQ while in the area.

This is the best DQ I've ever been to.the staff are hilarious and I haven't received a messed up order from them yet. Everything is made well, not sloppy, and they take the time to just be human. I go there over other places for this reason.
