Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

Found the restaurant itself very dirty. Cobwebs over the freezers, dirty tables. The blizzards were more like soup. Not a pleasant experience.

Wow what a shot Show. Cooks cursing in the kitchen about nothing being stocked. I got cold fries and the wrong burger. Then they forget cheese.

I was so disappointed. The burgers were cold as the ice cream and the onion rings were burnt. A waste of money. I knew I shouldn't of went there. Should of went to wendy's.

The woman working intercom was the most ignorant person I've given my order to. Think it's time someone look for a new job.
Blizzards were handed to me while melting, getting on the inside of my car.
Won't be going back to THAT one.

Ordered two bacon cheeseburgers, fries and poutine at a cost of over $21.00. We were going to eat on the road, when we opened it everything was stone cold except the poutine and it was likely hot only because of the gravy. This is the second time I have experienced this but it will be the last as I will never order from you again. Clearly your business doesn't care about the customer

Asked for a burger with onion ketchup mayo lettuce and no cheese they gave me cheese mustard ketchup and pickles. Almost didn’t give me my shake and brownie. I understand fast food can be stressful but when i worked in fast food we at least managed to give people the right food. So gaf about a drive through time

Bought the large size birthday cake. Friendly staff and did a nice job putting custom lettering on it. I also enjoy they're hot fudge sundaes.

If I could give this a lower rating I would. My husband and I got 2 take out meals both meals were terrible - dry like the food had been sitting for hours, the pop was flat and the milkshake tasted acidy. I have never have such a terrible meal. Will never get take out from here again.

I'm the last person to give retail food workers a hard time BUT these guys have never gotten my order correct, not once. They'll either get it really wrong like hand you a cheeseburger when you ordered a milkshake, or short your order and just straight up steal your money. At first it was funny but now after 2 years of paying for items they don't give me I'm not laughing anymore.

It's like any other dairy queen. Just slower and some of the staff isn't the friendliest. To put it short I got a large blizzard and it was about an inch and a half from full. So I asked how come it was like that and the guy replied "that's how it is". I asked how come the other dairy queens fill them to the top and the other times I had been to this location it was filled to the top the guy replied " that's how I made it so can you can you exit the lane". Mind you this was a few months ago now so I figured I would try it again. Not any better. The ice cream was almost completely melted and was told it'd cause I waited so long. Being in the drive through for over ten minutes being the 5th car I could see why it was melted. I couldn't understand why they wouldn't wait until someone was closer to the window. Oh well I won't return there.

I was hoping maybe this location was just having an off day and after 3 visits I can safely say, there is no joy here. The staff is grumpy the blizzards seem thrown together and the ice cream is runny immediately even with the ambient temperature at 68 F. Something is not well with the royalty confectioner.

Update: I’m not sure if I’m alone in this, but the generalized, response from corporate is such a luke warm, nothing response. I challenge you to read what they’ve wrote a dozen or so times and try and suss out any of what’s actually being said.

It feels like. “Ok thanks byeeeeeee”.

Feel like I never get quite what I ordered. Requested to try the new honey bbq tossed chicken fingers. And received chicken fingers with bbq sauce. I have also had several other issues with this location in the past.

Very friendly staff even when they are extremely busy. We went inside to pick up an ice cream cake and although they were all busy taking care of the long drive through they immediately served us and were more than happy to write the birthday message on the top of the cake. Lovely smiling young employees in the Cobourg location.

I was just there and there was a woman with a cake in front of me giving the lady behind the counter a hard time, but the employee was polite and professional and was very pleasant to me. A great customer service experience, thank you!
