Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

I am a diabetic. That means I love ice cream so much that my body has problems processing it now. And I live right around the corner from this location. So it really pains me to give such a bad rating but after so many disappointing visits, I have to.

Bad management makes for long wait times. Ice cream is sometimes melted and hot food is sometimes not even hot. No buster bars in stock. This really is the worst location I have ever been to. I love Dairy Queen in general but will get delivery from ira needles since this location never satisfies.

Had been going to this location for over 35 years. Only a brief period where it closed had I not been going here.

On average I was going here 1-2 times a week. I would get the same order almost every time. 2 of the regular cheeseburgers (the ones off the value menu) and add onion and flamethrower sauce, as well as a medium blizzard. This was my standard order for years.

One day I went in and made my order. Was then told it would cost me an additional $1 for each topping on each burger. So for each burger it was cost me $3.50 for the full burger and an addition $2.00 for some onion and sauce. Crazy, was the end of my business. This was about two years ago now. Have not been back since.

Upon reading MANY reviews I see where the problem lies. VERY poor management has come in and decided profit is more important than regular business. Which in reality, in funny since they ate clearly kissing customers at an alarming rate. I think corporate needs to really take a look and make some serious changes. Loved Dairy Queen for the better part of my life, and now I refuse to set food in one.

Hope the fix the problems before they, permanently, loose other dedicated customers.

I’ve been there many times only for triple chocolate brownie and they never put whip creme on top. I got it once only after asking. So done with their excuse of not having it. It can’t go out of stock every single time.

Still love my Chocolate dip softy. Chicken sandwich and fries were nothing like I remember, so not great. Buns are not very fresh. Service a bit slow even if you're the only one in line. Store needs a make over.

I was in this cafe today. It was the most disgusting fast food I have ever tried. Employee took an order after that he started speaking phone and then continued my order without gloves (. Wasted time for bad food. Big peaces of tomato and salad - it was so unstylish

Prices are too expensive for the quality of food. Our drinks from the fountain were warm and dispenser had no ice.

Quite busy but maintained okay. They were getting confused on which orders were completed and which orders wernt, which slowed them down a bit. It was a decent wait time for the ice cream once ordered. The cake batter cookie dough is not worth it though. All it has is cookie dough and sprinkles. Not worth the price. I'd suggest to get the Orginal cookie dough ice cream instead. It has more flavour.

There was a small mix up in our order, that became a problem for me when nobody was able to remember which blizzard was which flavour. This is problematic as there was 3 people working on our order (5 blizzards, 2 skor, 1 smartie, 1 reese's, 1 oreo), and they also made other peoples orders in between ours, which is probably the reason nobody could remember who made what. Instead of just remaking what was wrong and saying "Sorry about that", it took those three workers at least 10 minutes to solve what was missing. Fast forward the talking, they remake the blizzard which was supposed to be reese's, and when we got back they had made us another skor. The person that remade my reese's ice cream was the one who said reese's was missing, and still made the wrong thing. Previously I had an issue with my order, similar to this, and it's just getting to the point where I wont be going here anymore. This is not the first time there's been a mix up, but it is definitely the last. Also the atmosphere is pretty gross, they don't wipe tables after people finish eating there, and people can be pretty disrespectful by leaving behind trash, which i don't condone, but when it's not cleaned that's pretty nasty.

Very very dirty. The walls the pictures Parts that are not even near the food counter. Every table. Dirty We went outside would not stay inside. Had no whip cream for banana split. Which made me laugh with fresh o next door. Go buy some to finish off the orders

If i could give zero stars i would. The cashier was rude, didnt warn about ingredients they were out of before making ice cream, didnt fill the slush to the top, didnt warm the brownie for the cupfection. Worst dairy queen experience ever!

No problem with the Blizzard but I must say the front door was absolutely filthy!? Surprised me…

Worst experience I ever have.
I asked for large Reese’s caramel pretzel blizzard.
In the blizzard, the peanuts and Reese’s not properly cut into mixture. Also, i didn’t able to taste caramel itself. It’s just while buttery cream and improperly mixed Reese and penury.

I having good experience on other dq restaurants. But, this is one of the worst. I ignored the rating, but it’s completely true.

Unfortunately had a bad experience here. Was overcharged by $7 and I'm confident the cashier knew but charged me anyways. Then two items turned out to be out of stock after I paid.

We recently went to the location and it was a mess. It seemed like only one of the girls knew what she was doing. I got a float and it was basically water and ice cream you couldn’t even taste the blue raspberry and a Dairy Queen that doesn’t take the Dairy Queen app? Weird. Save yourself and drive to another location

Kids running the place are rude & close 30 mins early. Neet customer service training quick.

Closed 15 minutes early tonight. Kids are moping the floor but forgot to turn off the open light: (

Our dinner last night was really good. Everything was piping hot & service was outstanding. Both guys working, were very pleasant & on the ball. No one had to wait for anything. The place was spotless. The only thing I didn't like is that it was cold in there, so we ended up bringing our food home to eat.

I will not be returning after tonight. I did talk with the manager Chris about a concern I found in the restaurant. 5 tiles on the ceiling have black mold. He told me the owner knew about the black mold month ago. Why still not replaced. Unexpectable. Other thing, a co worker was cooking food than answered the phone than back into kitchen. No hand washing here can you cross contamination. If anyone of ur staff or customers get sick from the mold. Your going to have a huge lawsuit on ur hands. Chris trying to tell me too it's water damage, that turned into mold ya. I told your staff it's not funny. This is a serious matter. I'll be putting in a word with one of my friends who is a serect shopper for restaurants. To your customers I would think twice coming here. Only if u want to get sick.

We haven't eaten dairy queen in a while. We won't be back. The buns were stale. The food as whole was stale. Chicken sandwiches had hardly any mayo. There was no ice in the drink dispenser. Fries seemed under cooked. We ordered 2 burger meals, 2 chicken sandwich meals and a poutine. We will not return.
