I am giving 2 stars only because the owner is friendly with me when I go. Tonight's visit reminded me of why I stopped going: when you pay with a credit card he charges you an extra dollar without even telling you and I always realize the amount paid doesn't match the amount on the register after the transaction has been made.
First of all $1 for a transaction is outrageous and more than Moneris will charge yiu. Second, if you are doing this, the customer should be notified and make the decision whether they decide to proceed or not or choose another method of payment.
I specifically asked for the prices of the products I was considering before making a decision depending on how much they costed, to end up paying more than I wanted.
Although $1 is less than the price of a coffee, it is the unethical transaction what bothers me the most.
