My dining experience at Daldongne BBQ was absolutely perfect. The quality of the barbecue was top-notch, with every piece of meat grilled just right, exuding a tempting char-grilled aroma. The cozy cabin-style ambiance, complemented by warm and friendly service, created a relaxed and enjoyable dining atmosphere.
I highly recommend their seafood pancake for its outstanding taste and texture. Whether it’s for a family meal or a gathering with friends, Daldongne BBQ is an excellent choice. Highly recommended!
We went for dinner they said everyone at Talbert had to order a meat but looking closer it said 2 per table and that was more reasonable. Unfortunately he had ordered and it was so much meat for us all. I get they don't want you to order 1 meat per table and eat all the free side dishes. It was quiet and they were on their toes bringing out what ever we needed so they get a good review.
Service was okay and the food was okay. We tipped but our server asked for more tipped which is shocked me because no server ever asked to tipped more like the audacity.
I would not recommend tbh there are far better kbbq in the same area if u walk up ahead u can find one thats an actual all you can eat. Went with friends to this location it was good till server told us 1 meat serving per person otherwise other guy with us cant be in there was 5 of us we order 4 meat serving but apparently we needed to order 2 more extra cuz we had 5 ppl then tip wise minimum was 17% i would have been good with it if the server cooked n flipped the meat for us lol but no overall not worth for the price 22$ for 1 serving if meat when 22$ up the road can get you a buffet meal. And there drink the sujo mahito tasted like drinking liquid sugar with a taste of lime lol.n oh its paid by serving not per person one serving of pork belly was 22-23 then if u wanted the good stuff wagyu its 40-50 and portions are okay not good but okay n for some reason everytime we turn the temperature up the server sneakyly.keeps turning it down lower
Nice cozy spot, the service is always great and the food is fantastic! Excellent selection of sides and the meat is always perfect. Greatly recommend this Korean BBQ spot in north york!
OMG, great staff, great friendly service, super fast service, big portions, and a fun lively place. Love it! Thanks - it was a heavenly food experience.
Delicious meat but a little pricey on my side. Wanted to give an extra half star for the patio! It has pretty covered porch on the back side of the restaurant. Something I didn't expect when visiting the place for the first time.
The Korean BBQ is not bad at best. We were there on saturday night. The shorter Korean male manager gentlemen is not so friendly and constantly rudely telling people to move away from "please wait here" line. Very overrated spot. Certainly better Korean BBQ spots around. The place is surprisingly busy which doesn't quite make sense because it's really nothing special and they are operating like a production line and you have to jump up and down to get there attention for any service. They are understaffed. They don't even have black pepper. What kind of a Korean joke is this? All the meats are plain and not seasoned or anything. They should serve more ordinary vegetables to put on the grill with all the meats of you order. Plain onions, Green peppers, mushrooms etc. Not just these rather odd Korean side dishes. The shrimp is absolutely horrific. Do not get. It's cheap low end shrimp and flaky and never fresh as this was our 2nd time trying it. Tastes terrible. It's not even marinated or anything. I need black pepper on my grilled meats DUH! They bring your one small lousy bowl of soup and expect you to share that with everyone. We had to ask them several times to bring us bowls plates chop sticks etc. They are all in la la land working. It's also little more expensive that other Korean BBQ spots but not necessarily better quality. They need to be more accurate with wait times.
So expensive.just ordered 3 orders of pork belly, 1 seafood pancake, 1 beef tenderloin, 1 spicy squid salad and it cost me $218? The meat was not even marinated nor they didnt put any salt or pepper.the service was poor.
The food was great. It was truly a constantly mouth-watering experience, I must say. They give endless refills on the creamy corn and all the sides- MUCH APPRECIATED for a munchie lover like me. Their beef and pork quality was five star but I gave one less star because we waited way too long for a table- I wish there was a better system. Regardless, I'll be back just cause it tastes that good.
A MUST GO. Also, don't forget the grape soju on the side. That's the cherry on top of this amazing meal.
Very good food, alot of side food which are free, alot of food in general, workers there are very patient and nice, and the place is bigger than what you think from looking from the outside.
패데믹때문에 일손이 모자라는거 이해하지만, 직원들이 하나같이 다 불. 친. 절. 해서 어이 상실… 직원들 교육이나 관리를 소홀히하는점은 주인 잘못이라고 생각들어 올립니다.
With owner has blamed a lack of customer service for staff shortage, I attempted to understand their staffing needs and the minimum number of staffs needed to provide a safe (?) environment during the pandemics. On my second visit, I was saddened but truth is, this so called Korean BBQ joint was failure. Found the managements and staffs extremely inhospitable and impolite…. Hope they finds the ways to meet and exceed customer expectations
My favorite spot for Korean BBQ. The quality of the meat is amazing, and you get very thick and juicy cuts. All the meat is very fresh as well. The cold noodles is the best I've had in the city. Wear light clothing and if you have long hair tie it up, it gets very hot but its well worth it!
Meat was a little expensive but they brought out a million side dishes that justified the price. Loved the kimchi and bean sprout dishes. Patio and interior was really hot but apart from that it was a great experience.
Great quality barbecue meats and cozy atmosphere with an enjoyable vibe. Friendly staff service and highly recommended for some good old fashion a la carte kbbq!
If you are looking for authentic Korean BBQ place in Toronto, this is one of the places to be. I and friends and families come here pretty often, not only for the food and drinks but also to enjoy the atmostphere together. As expected, you get great side dishes while waiting for the food to come (could ask for refill too). My favorites are Pork Belly, Korean beef tartare and rice wine (magoli). Prices are reasonable too. Might be a wait during the weekends and holidays. And might be worthwhile if you are from out of town
Terrible experience, would give a 0 star if possible. Average food but without question the biggest issue with is location is the service. Male hostess (height between 5' 1- 5' 3 with short hair) working the front could not be ruder. When asked if we could sit at another table with less sun, male hostess overtly expressed annoyance. Not something I wanna see as a paying customer.
BBQ meat took over 45 min to come out, with appetizers coming out nearing the end of the entire meal, no apologies nor explanations what so ever. Servers had to be called on every single time for assistance, extremely inattentive.
Disappointing as I have had better experiences at their other locations, would suggest staying away from this one.
TLDR: -Quality of meat is not reflected in the bloated prices -AWFUL service (specifically front staff but also servers) -sub-par sides/ appetizers
