We knew Roberto and his family as our next-door neighbours for 12 years and also got to know his extended family. This gave us a view into his family and high moral values. So, when we decided to sell, we never even considered any other agent.

We recently had a very negative experience with Dan Cooper- and would like to caution others about working with him.

We bid on a home in Oakville. We were initially told we were outbid, but later that day the original buyers backed out and signed a release, so the home was ours.
We were so happy and excited, and made arrangements for the sale as expected. Dan Cooper asked us for the deposit and paperwork which we completed. I took a day off work to meet with the lawyer and mortgage broker the next day. Two days later- Dan called our agent saying the original buyer came through with their deposit, essentially saying it was no longer ours.

He was extremely unprofessional, and did not take responsibility for his actions at all. I understand this is just a quick buck for him, but buying a first home is an important milestone which he turned into a terrible experience. He kept us strung along as a back up option for his clients, while making us think the house was ours. He really has no regard for other people's time or money and I am beyond disappointed with him, especially given how well known he is in our Joshua Creek neighborhood. It's unfortunate that he doesn't even realize how unethical this was- but I guess it's just all about the money for him.

I had an incredible buying and selling experience with Dan Cooper and his team! It was a very stressful and complicated deal as there were 14 offers on the selling side. The finesse with which he negotiated was truly outstanding. Dan spent an entire weekend and countless additional hours managing offers from many different real estate brokers. He represented everyone fairly, ethically and very professionally. At the end, he sold our home for more than 25% over the asking price!
