Dandelion Allergy Centre

No services at all- don't expect anyone to answer your phone. Tried calling and every time it gets bounced to a voicemail during their operating time, or they just pick up the phone and leave you on hold for 28 minutes (YES 28 minutes until you lose patience and hang up)!
Went here for an allergy test, long waiting time even on a weekday morning, everything was rushed, the doctor didn't even say much and left me with two options without discussing the matter with me. Wait time was an hour with a 3-minute appointment. Very disappointing and unprofessional clinic. Do not recommend.

Great service and very professional staff. Dr. Kobayaa is very knowledgeable and patient. She answered all my questions and gave me all the time I needed. She is definetly my go to Allergy Dr.

Very dirty clinc and when she called me for booking appointment, I told her my son’s health card is expired and I have to renew it, But she told me no need for renewal and it’s still working until the end of the month.
When I went to the clinic she told me no it’s not valid and you have to pay 190$ right now!
And when you give me valid health card by the end of TODAY AT 3: 30pm
(IN PERSON) I will give the money back to you!
When I agreed she told me your appointment time is gone and I will reschedule at 1 pm!

Which I was so frustrated how I will do my son’s allergy test 1 pm and go to service Ontario to renew his health card and go back before 3: 30pm to take the money back or otherwise NO REIMBURSEMENT!

NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL

Update 2022-04-14:
They have been much more responsive with phone calls to reschedule as needed and I now receive appointment reminder emails.

Phone is often not accepting calls or goes straight to voice mail. Also it would be nice to get confirmation emails for appointments so there are no mix ups.

Wonderful experience with Dandelion allergy center. Dr. Peter and staff are helpful and friendly. Dr. Peter takes time to go over the diagnosis and treatment options and ensures that I fully understand the healthcare provided. I would highly recommend it to anyone. I was surprise by all the medicine and tests Dr. Peter recommended on my first visit. He really tackled all my symptoms related to my allergy and my asthma. Thank you.

Very hard to reach out on Phone. I have been waiting for my son's follow up but there is no time given as to when doctor will call. You could be driving or away from phone and miss it. It happened twice with us when all of a sudden we see a missed call from No Caller ID. Our family doctor always mention time slot when the call will be given by doctor and that makes sure we are close to our phone. No response via email, their office is not receiving call either. Its frustrating!

This clinic is very unprofessional. Very bad service. The lady at the reception is very rude and doesn’t do her job right at all. She made us wait for so long and was letting people in before us. She did not make us feel welcome at all and she actually caused me to get up and leave without seeing the doctor.

Extremely unprofessional rude receptionist. I did not get a chance to go in and meet the doctor because of how I was treated by the lady at the front desk. I decided to leave because I just could not stand the treatment I got! If I can give 0 stars I would have. 1 is too much for that receptionist.

The front receptionists and Dr. Kobayaa were amazing when I had to take in my 6 year old daughter for an environmental allergy test. Unfortunately, the first nurse that came into the room was unbelievably unprofessional and rude. My 6 year old has recently become terrified of needles and was so scared to get the allergy test done. Even though everyone assured her it would only be like a 'pencil scratch'. This nurse made a comment about how skinny my daughter is and saying she was lucky because a lot of people don't want to be fat. This is not a professional statement that ANY nurse should be saying as my daughter already feels like she is too skinny. After my daughter was too scared to get the allergy procedure, this nurse lost patience and told my daughter not to be a 'baby' and left the room. I was HIGHLY disappointed in this nurse's behavior and I hope she learns some professional behavior for a Canadian office. The second nurse who came in to to the procedure was patient and amazing to my 6 year old - she was a breath of fresh air.

Overall it was a good experience but that one nurse definitely left a very sour taste in my mouth.

Having tried different centers, at this place I had a great experience, staff were friendly and the physician spent adequate time with me. A+

My 2 year old had a 1: 55 appointment. We arrived at 1: 40 but still had to wait until 2: 30 to get in a room. At that point they did the scratch test on his backand told us it would be 20 minutes to see the doctor and he needed to keep his shirt off while we waited. It’s now 3: 40 and we still haven’t seen the doctor. If you get a referral here, ask to be referred elsewhere.

Had my daughter’s appointment at 12.30pm. The front desk was packed with patients with no distancing taken in account. I asked the lady at the front desk how longer did we have to wait and she said we were going in next so I said I will wait outside the office and to kindly call me when its our time to see the dr. At 1.10pm she called us in and entered the examination room and we waited another 40 mins (1.50pm) until I decided this was unacceptable and left. One hr and 20mins is not a reasonable time to wait as this isnt a walk in clinic. Having a baby at home I had to leave before seeing the dr. You certainly need to consider managing the appointments in a more efficient way. I understand appointment sometimes run late 15-20 mins but 1: 20mins and still didnt see the dr. Sorry to say this this is unacceptable.

Very friendly and professional staff. They were welcoming and thoroughly explained the process of the allergy test. They made the process feel very smooth and relaxing as I was nervous before my test. Clean and well-kept environment. Highly recommended!

I visited to have an allergy test done for my sister. The nurse, Rima, was quick to attend to us and explained thoroughly the procedure prior to beginning. Dr. Kobayaa explained the allergies my sister had, clarified her doubts and made sure all our needs were met during our visit.
Overall, we had an efficient and ideal experience at the Dandelion Allergy Centre. I highly recommend visiting them!

My daughter was referred to Dr Kobayaa for allergy testing. She was very nervous but the doctor took her time to explain the steps. I found her caring and answered all my questions.

Doctor are ok.front desk is a disaster! Get my test last Tuesday. Get told to go to pick up my prescriptions to my pharmacy, Friday no prescriptions get still sended to Pharmacy. Try to call NOBODY ANSWER DESPITE THE FACT THEY ARE OPEN!

I brought my daughter here following recommendation of a friend. Definitely a returning customer and would highly recommend them

The staff were curt and short.
My appointment was rushed.
After having a life of allergy suffering was basically told I don't have allergy and didn't react to anything.
No explanation nothing.
The nurse who did my test just dabbed with the samples then wiped.

I took my appointment so early, friendly staff they are professional. They explained the allergy process step by step, i felt like i'm very well treated.
Specially the Dr. Highly recommended She prescribed a medicine for me now I'm better I can breathe well too

Tested my 7m old son for no allergies. Told us to try eggs. We did. And he got red with hives. Horrible diagnosis. Wrong allergy test. Bogus. We are calling them again to let them know of their malpractice.
